For the woodlands office. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE EXPECTING MEDICATION MANAGEMENT. I've read other reviews they are scared to prescribe anything. I've been going to this pain management clinic for about 8 months, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. They mixed up my medical record with another patient's, and I've been treated unfairly ever since. Even after passing two urine drug tests and doing everything they asked, I'm still judged and not taken seriously. My spinal disc is completely deteriorated, and I'm scheduled for spinal fusion surgery on January 29th, yet they insist on prescribing only one 5 mg pill a day, which does nothing for my pain. I've told them repeatedly, and nothing is ever adjusted. There have been multiple times where they refused to answer the phone, ignored refill requests, or didn't fill my medication at all. They even started me on a new medication but gave me only ten pills and then left me unsure if they'd ever refill it. I'm honestly scared to take anything they prescribe because I don't know if they will handle it correctly. This clinic has caused me unnecessary pain, stress, and frustration during a time when I should be getting proper medical care. I hope they take these issues seriously and make major improvements. read more

I saw Dr. Chin for the first time today and have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and his staff. I have had neck/back pain forever and had a horrible experience with my last Dr. Dr. Chin came in and listened to me, actually put his hands on the injured areas and we came up with a plan of care suited for me. I never felt like an inconvenience to him nor his staff. If you have been putting off going to see someone about your pain I would highly recommend Dr. Chin. read more

You might want to consider that for some reason or another they don't like to document what is going on in the examination room so when you need to get things like mri's done or you go through surgery it wouldn't be done correctly. For instance because they did not document my complaint the last two visits my MRI is not going to be done correctly so I had to cancel it but they told me I could come out of pocket if I wanted to. Once he put you on a medication regiment that is it that is all you are getting no up if you are in more pain. Also if they mess up paperwork and that extra insurance for anesthesia you will get locals for your injection but it will be okay. Some things to consider. They diagnosed me with fibromyalgia but didn't give me no medication and tell me how this diagnosis came about. Every procedure I have done and I've had five in this year alone none has worked and I have to ask what is this involved and do research because nothing is explained. And by the way this is all your fault. My recommendation is don't pick the easiest one that's closest to your house. Give me a value for my MRI was an issue even though the last time I took I had to stop it because I had a panic attack. I mean so many things are wrong I think it's a money making machine at this point. And nobody gives you resolution nobody says it's your their fault. And I think that's what bothers me the most but it's not their fault and if you want it you can pay for it even though you paid them for the visit. Like we owe them something. Alert; This was The worst referral EVER. My PCP recently gave me a referral to go see a Pain management which turned out to be Dr.see chin and I regret every bit of experience.I went to my appt on may 4 and when I say it was pretty far from my home and plus it also turned out to be a complete WASTE of TIME. I have sickle cell which at most times are very painful. This Doctor did not give me any form of relief or anything. Please avoid this doctor see.chin by all means. read more

The most incompetent office staff I have ever seen!!! I asked a direct question when I walked in the door but she was so determined to not LISTEN 3 times. I tried to make an appointment to only be told they don't take self pay patients?!?!? I store there for 15 minutes wasting my time. Clearly you need more patient relationship training! If you need a pain doctor I highly recommend Dr. Chin. I called for an appt for lower back pain. Vicky from Pain Relief Associates scheduled me in the next day. The office was very clean, the wait was reasonable (I filled out my new Pt paperwork online) and the staff was very attentive. Dr. Chin spent plenty of time understanding my needs. I got an in office injection to temporarily relieve my back pain & was scheduled for an injection for more longer relief. He's the best!!! read more

We have not had health care from this person but we have had dealings with him. We had a business deal which due to numerous reasons changed and got complicated. We do not wish to point blame at anyone. We agree it was a dual part problem. Yet we would like to warn people about this man. He has harassed our family to the point we are even considering leaving the country. He has threaten all kinds of abuse on us. He has harassed our children and even our 15 year niece. She has had to seek counseling after he has harassed her at all hours of the day and night. We have had to resort to criminal action to try keep him away from us. He has a history of this behavior, his ex wife had to seek criminal action to keep him away too we have learnt. It is a shame it has to come to this you would think a man with a MD degree would not be such a harassment to society. we just suggest you possibly find help from a more stable person. read more

Dr. See Chin and his staff are always very nice and kind. We never wait any longer than 15 minutes before being called into an exam room and we are in and out within 45 minutes from check in to being seen and even getting injections and this is for 2 people being seen at once! Dr. Chin is always polite, understanding and helpful to both me and my husband, we both have cervical and spinal arthritis and problems. Dr. Chin has given both of us trigger point and other injections and oral medications that have helped greatly to maintain a quality of life without constant, excruciating pain. Dr. Chin only has the best interest of his patients in mind when he does treatment whether you receive pain medication, injections or you don't. Some people writing reviews here seem to be bitter because Dr. Chin won't just hand them pain pill prescriptions based on saying that they are in pain. Dr. Chin compares notes with other doctors along with medical testing and imaging to make sure that a patient actually "needs" pain medication or an alternative or combination therapy. He is doing his job in each situation to make sure that the safest, most effective treatment is administered to individual needs. read more
