And of course the main reason why we go buy our paint here is because of ther Harmony Line, it's water-based paint and low-odor with zero VOCs!!! Perfect for kids rooms or nurseries. Even during painting you barely smell any odor....I am using this paint for my entire House now. They also constantly have sales, last time I just bough myself an entire case of white and whenever I am ready to paint a room I go mix in the color.

Oops now that it's tinted I don't think I can take it back anymore. Shucks. I shouldn't have tinted all the colours otherwise I can use it on my own home, which I really regret... there goes $200! After some discussion with my husband, we purchased two different sample pots (Elephants Breath and Ammonite). She also included a wallpaper sample I was looking into. It was neat to know that their wallpapers are done with their own in-house colours. Natalie had mentioned how to test our sample pots and we took her advice. Elephant Breath it is! It's a little on the pricy side with the paint but if you want good quality you have to pay for it! I'm willing to pay more just for the service alone.

She took the time to look at my samples for the kitchen and help suggest shades of grey paint that might work. She also showed me (and gave me samples) of wallpaper. The sales rep that afternoon (April 5) was just amazing! The quality of the products they have are amazing. Unfortunately, I was looking for a particular light shade of grey but the colours from F & B all have more of a cream colour look (not quite what I am looking for). Nevertheless, the quality of the paint and the customer service at the Toronto Showroom is exemplary! They even followed up with a phone call to check if there was any further assistance that I would need...I will definitely go back to F&B in the future and would highly recommend them!

For once, the promised coverage for a gallon of paint actually was accurate! 350 sq. ft promised coverage really did cover my walls in one coat. YAY. I'm a very happy camper. Each time, we come here as the staff are quite knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Our next project is painting our former tv room into a nursery. With the assistance of the staff, we were able to buy the best type of paint to support our vision of the room. We have gone to chain hardware stores for another project and seemed to get inconsistent answers based on who we asked. If you're in the west end and need paint, go with Harvey's. We've had occasion to come in for home and garden supplies over the many years this location has…read moreserved the area. Usually, we're able to find what we need at decent prices. It's pretty conveniently located close to Weston Road, with a large parking lot, and pickup area for bulky items. Sometimes you have to hunt a bit for staff on the ground, and sometimes they're part timers whose knowledge isn't particularly in-depth. On the other hand, dedicated staff at some of the specialty counters, like our experience in the bathroom section, were very helpful in spending a good amount of time going over different products to choose from. The garden section is a bit lacking as they only display decorative pieces on the ground. I was told that for basic concrete forms, they don't carry them there. I would have to go online and order them, which really didn't help me as I wanted to see the actual pieces to rebuild our back patio. I ended up having to go to specialty stores to be able to see the product. It's great to have them nearby. Their hours are convenient. I'm sure I'll have many occasions to return.

He was able to connect me with the free warranty part and then in invited me to sit down at a computer in the near by plumbing section to review an installation video he googled so that I was completly confident on my purchase...i was. I went to the Benjamin Store on Langstaff (near Weston Rd) and the same can was $11....and at the Benjamin Moore store on Bathurst near Major Mac they were $8.99. Huge savings here. Access Ito the lot when driving east on Steeles is odd (as its a curved entrance for those people travelling west), but further down there's another entrance. The staff members I've interacted with have been stellar...from the consultant who works in the paint section to the staff at the counters...all have customer skills down pat. This is now my preferred location to purchase paint.

Never realized Wednesday mornings were so busy for them?! Nothing here was my taste. Did not like music or displays and it seemed to be a bit of a jumbled mess. Stressful mood. Left and went next door to union lighting where I also did not find what I was looking for but had a much more enjoyable experience. Worth checking out if you are on the strip looking for lights. They do. It did not seem that they had same selection as others and no realistic room settings just stuff hanging. I did find some great prices on full length mirrors under $200 worth returning for.
