Petr and his team completed a ~400 sq ft basement finishing project in our come within about 2.5-3 days. From the moment we called to the time the work was completed, it was about 1 week start (quote sent and reviewed) to finish (work completed and paid). They sanded and perfected trim and recently replaced drywall, and primed and painted walls, ceiling, and trim. They were able to use the specific paint brand, quality and color that we selected without a significant price increase. We felt they offered a great value and we appreciated that they offered a discount for cash. Petr came in the beginning and at the end to ensure we were satisfied with the work quality. Since we hadn't painted the house in years Alex did the whole house, even painting the stairs going downstairs, taking a false ceiling off and painting the beams looks great to scrapping stairs with paint falling off outside making it look like new. I kept adding things every time I went to the house and thought Alex might think I am crazy or just a pain but no always sure if you want was his answer. My spouse escalated our request to the owner, George, as he felt that is was Ablaze responsibility…read more George said he would look into the issue. We notified them on 6/12/24, on 6/24 George himself came out to look at the pan and measure the closet to see if a new appropriate drain pan would fit because not all comply with current codes. He ordered the new drain pan, scheduled to have it installed but also commented on the review I left, he asked if he could come by. We said he could come verify our statements when the pan was installed but his team Brian and David were well aware of a number of issues prior to our final payment. Today, August 2nd the new drain pan was installed as George did acknowledge that is the proper installation for the set-up we have. He also reviewed a number of items, offered to fix what he could. While it was a nice offer/gesture, our experience with the team (Brian & David and all the sub contractors) made it impossible for us to accept. George indicated he was not aware and that a number of these items could have easily been punch list items to be taken care, but that option was never given to us. George did in fact reimburse us for a different issue. I'm grateful George stepped in and that he was willing to at least look into it. I'm more grateful he acknowledged and did correct the drain pan and I appreciate his offer to correct what he could. The crew that was here did an excellent job (from what we can tell as of today). It's unfortunate it had to be escalated but I can confidently say, when it was, George did everything he could to get taken care of appropriately. He communicated frequently and everything went very smooth.

Before moving into my new 65 year house I had the entire upstairs painted including closet interiors. I had no idea the amount of work that could go into painting. They removed everything from the walls including closets shelfs and fixed all nail pops and indentions in the walls and ceiling. The walls basically look brand new after the work. They even removed two ugly sconces and patched the holes per my request. A couple weeks ago I had them paint my stair risers and again, amazing attention to detail, patching imperfections before painting so they look like new. The house is a mid century modern design with lots of wood work inside that needs to be cleaned up a little and stained. I'll definitely be using Roy and team for the work as well as painting the exterior in the spring.
