On Wednesday we were allowed to show up and decorate for "Sara's" wedding for Friday. When we arrive, we were informed that there are.13 barn cats... very beautiful but not allowed in the barn... Ok! The dressing room for the bride and her maids still smelled strongly of cat pee so they didnt feel comfortable leaving the dresses there in fear of the dresses picking up the stench as well. Ok, now let's talk about cat poop . 13 cats and counting. The gravel and grass were gross. Well endowed tom cats (broken tale) and very pregnant females all in view. TNR is not practiced!!!! If you're a RESPONSIBLE pet/cat person then you already know what Im saying . Well now... here's where this place really soured my opinion... The maid of honor opened a bottle of Champaign for the bride and her maids while they where dressing... That's when shit hit the fan... I don't know what was said exactly but bottom line was this..... the owners daughter said they broke the rules and cuz the maid of honor wouldn't allow her to take the bottle of Champaign , she had to leave the property. This was the maid of honor/sister of the bride!!! ARE YOU KIDDING??!!!! She said no hard liquor. . Lmao!! RAMP certification would be helpful here!!! Champain is a wine, not a liqure. Then she said maid of honor had to leave b'cuz of how she treated her... (Not letting her just take the bottle). I wouldn't allow that either!!!. Long story short, bride and maid of honor/ sister were in tears, and a very happy narcissistic owner eating, drinking and and patroling the entire event inside and out. I heard the owner complain to her husband that she had to break up a parking lot party. WHAT!!!???REALLY??? Did we not pay for a private venue? Why would the owner even be there? My niece is heartbroken. Never will I ever recommend this place to anyone!
