My favorite spot in Indiana. Hands down. I haven't been in for few years, but this morning I decided on a whim to get a latte and check out some local art. Things have somehow gotten better at The Artists Hand! Our drinks were amazing. Cookie, fantastic. My husband had a little panini which was fine. The art selection has grown! Prints (which were previously not so available), pottery, textiles, jewelry! I feel like I'm back in the city when I step in here. Someone is playing the piano as I type. I could cry. An update: we purchased two pieces of art. It wasn't hard to find something that I liked. In this case, about twenty somethings. We chose a unique metal photograph (a bit pricey) and a funky, pre-matted photography print (only 30$!). Both pieces are quite large but the barista was able to ring them up and wrap them in no time. Any out of towners looking for a "downtown coffee shop" experience STOP IN HERE!!!

I love the calm quiet atmosphere of this adorable store that sells local artists' work and has a nice little coffee shop. Great place to find one-of-a-kind gifts. We enjoyed a blood orange Italian soda and hazelnut hot chocolate

Dropped in on a day trip through the area when I needed to stop for a quick beverage. The barista greeted us warmly and asked us to let her know when we were ready to order (love the lack of pressure when I need a few moments to look at the menu!). I ordered a large chai latte, all for a mere $4.25, and it was delicious. Served at the perfect temperature to drink, too! Highly recommended for a quick stop to quench your thirst, and while I didn't take the time to peruse the art, I can see this would be a nice spot to spend the afternoon as well.

Amazingly tasty pizza. The crust is crisp with a soft center. Large variety of toppings and specials at a very reasonable price.

The care and love put into the museum is very evident. Touring the many displays was preceded by a helpful introduction by one of the museum's employees. There was also an interesting exhibit on the upcoming biopic about Jimmy's war experiences, leading up to the filming of ''Its a a Wonderful Life'. There's plenty of photo opportunities, including the memorable George Lassos the Moon scene from Its a Wonderful Life. There is a theater room that usually shows some of his films, but is presently showing some trailers and behind the scenes footage from the upcoming "Jimmy" film to be released in November 2026. There are costumes on display from this upcoming movie as some of the actors & producers came by the museum a few weeks back and donated them.
