There are two wheels and she guided my friend and I amidst great conversation. The space is small and cozy but enough to be distanced while working (we all wore masks). She chooses the glaze on her own and I loved my items when I picked them up. Kelly is a very sweet person and I thoroughly enjoyed the session + her company :)

My experience with The Next Jennaration has been wonderful…read more I live ten hours away so viewing the recitals each year has been nothing short of perfection. The students so clearly love what they do, and work so hard. You can sense the feeling of togetherness from the audience and you can hear about how their teamwork, hard work and chemistry pay off with the many many awards, scholarships, choreography awards, appearances on live TV shows (Dance Moms, America's Got Talent, Live Streaming of the Battles) and many other awards that this group brings. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work the front desk for 6 months this year and I could not believe the family atmosphere that the studio has. The office manager (Miss Vonnie) is always ready to meet everyone with a smile and kind, helpful encounter. The owner (Miss Jenna) brings a passion and love for the studio that is second to none. You will find her in the studio 99% of the time with the dancers, and when she is able to come out to the lobby she comes out with an energy showing how much she loves the students and working with them. The teachers have mostly grown up in the studio (Miss Deja, Miss Jessie, Miss Katie, Miss Taylor) and became The Next Jennaration Family and give back to the younger dancers by transitioning their role from team member themselves, to teachers. Other primary instructors (Miss Maria, Miss Jodi) have been training students since the opening and bring the best energy and a technical knowledge that brings everyone to another level. Miss Jodi even trained Miss Jenna when she was younger! :) The students have so much fun with dance and the social interactions that the studio brings. The students work so hard every time they get the chance to be in the studio. Outside of the studio, they are doing fun things to better themselves and the world. You can witness the way that these students are thinking about bettering the world by watching the team groups finding ways to give back to the community in their free time or competing in competitions that are solely fundraisers for causes in need. I started dancing with Miss Jenna was I was six years old at summer dance camp, in 2005! I still remember that first day of that camp when I met Miss Jenna and the other dancers, I knew I found my forever dance family. As of four years ago, I was given the opportunity from Miss Jenna pursue my summer internships at the dance studio. This is something common you will find at TNJ, as the staff consists of alumni, like myself, that have so much love and admiration for Miss Jenna, other staff members, and the current dancers. To be able to show our passion for dance, that was first founded at the same studio, to the current dancers is one of the greatest opportunities I have experienced here. When you step through the door you are always welcomed with the most warm and energetic presence from Miss Jenna, the staff, and of course your dance friends. The atmosphere in the studio is something so incredibly special. The level of energy, positivity, and appreciation from one another is so strong you can not help but feel loved when you leave your dance class. I feel this is due to the family-like emphasis Miss Jenna has for all of her dancers. I have created some of the strongest and longest friendships with the dancers I have made at the studio, which I am forever grateful for! Beyond the love we all have for each other, the level of dance training is incomparable to anything I have seen anywhere else. Miss Jenna pours her heart and soul into the quality of training she offers, making sure it is only the best for every dancer in the studio. If you have ever been to a TNJ recital or performance, you know this to be true. Miss Jenna's genuine passion and love for dance is directly absorbed and transferred to the students in their own dancing, it is truly amazing to see. One extremely special aspect of TNJ that many do not initially see, are the life lessons that are adapted by every dancer. The understanding and appreciation of being a part of a team/group is one of the many life skills I feel I have learned in my time here and continue to use and experience in life. As well, commitment not only to yourself, but others around you, is something very unique that we all feel towards each other from the very first time dancing together. This is why I know being a part of the TNJ family has been one of the most incredible opportunities I have ever had. The evening turned into a lively night. Watching the young cast navigate those first-night jitters with such grace became a joy. The audience felt their excitement in every note. Walking through those doors brought back a flood of memories--most notably, our best man Andrew's wedding. Rare to find a space that can host both life's biggest milestones and the budding dreams of local actors. The Hangar has built a reputation for excellence. I feel proud to support it.

Parking was a breeze which was really nice - the theatre is also conveniently located so you can hop right back on the road and head home after seeing a show if coming from Rochester region. I loved that they served finger lakes wine at the concession stand, and all of the volunteers and staff I encountered were wonderful and helpful. We went on a HOT day, and I wish for the outdoor stage they would have sprung for a covered option. The bulk of the audience were boiling by the time the razors came out, and we still had two hours of murderous fun left to go. The show itself had its great and not so great moments (I am not sure if it was a budgetary thing but the set for this show was...off putting. I don't need to be reminded that they're eating humans in word form on the set - there's a Greek chorus to remind me every other scene! Also, there were pretty severe issues with the mix and sound. Forgetting to turn actors mics back on, inability to hear the orchestra at times, etc.) Overall the cast and team at Hangar absolutely did the best they could given the circumstances all theatres are being forced to operate under right now, and I am SO GLAD to be out watching theatre and making snide comments about sets again! If there's a show you love playing here - go go go! Broadway talent and stardom in FLX!

It was almost like life theater because the first row was basically on the stage with the performer, single woman performer right in the middle of everything so it was a really cool. First experience the staff was very friendly. They have a full bar with snacks and yeah, they have a lot of associations with non-for-profit loaves and fish as the sponsor for the show who feed the homeless and there was other art organizations present there as well. You know it's a great central theater that has like a lot of like really good shows known for having great actors from Ithaca College, so usually seeing a performance in the city is a solid choice and I definitely recommend the kitchen theater. Their regular shows. It's very popular.

The building is modern and artistic in a simple way. It was my first time coming here and I suppose I had the expectation it would be like the other plays I'd seen in my life; your standard auditorium and sitting in darkness, alone to my own devices. I was pleasantly surprised! Their motto is "bold, intimate, engaging", and I soon found out why as I walked back a hall which entered into a small theatre where the relatively small amount of seats were placed in such away around the room you had no choice but be part of the stage. What an experience. It was like someone was not only telling you a story, but acting it out for you... You personally. And they were so close they would all make eye contact with you from time to time making it more personal. I felt engaged and pulled along with the story. They move so fast and don't have time or a way to dim the lights and move props etc so it's interesting how creative they get... It's literally like daddy acting out a story to his children at some points, very sweet and special. You can tell the actors are having fun, and they did a splendid job! I'd go back, but make sure to reserve ahead if you can- it's small!

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the seats were comfortable and were not cramped -- we were in the second row left. We felt like we were on stage. I didn't use the ladies' room or visit the bar, which I was told is a beautiful copper bar. 4 stars instead of 5 because the act itself was not of the caliber I expected. Perhaps it was a one-off. I look forward to returning again if I am in the area.

There's a lot of other stuff going on, too, that I'm probably missing. It's a great place to take your family, date, friends, anyone!
