Apparently, they drove by to view our home to look at it to get back to is with a quote. Our home has a basement which is below ground with one side exposed (window and door). This is still underground level. But they sent me a message stating that this is a 3 story home and that they don't do 3 story homes. Mind you all of the home is above ground except a verrrry small side with a window and door. My feeling is that this may have been a job they didn't want to do. Our home is brick and stucco with no mold or mildew, no stains, etc. We're disappointed as they are the only ones that have ever said or even considered this a 3 story home in any previous work we've had done(?). Please ask questions... maybe describe your home to them before consider them for a quote.

He asked me to do a walk through once the job was completed to make sure I was satisfied with his work. I was very satisfied he even washed a few things that we not in the original quote. Very reasonable and honest. I will be hiring this company again. I will also refer them to anyone who needs their services. Thank you DeAndre, Job well done!

Not only…read moreare they talented, thorough, considerate, and honest, they're also so thoughtful and kind. They kept in touch with me consistently throughout the process, provided excellent suggestions, and took great care of our home with tarps. Excellent customer service! They met my budget for the project which I greatly appreciated. By the end of the project, we were friends! They are now my "go-to contractor" from here on out. You absolutely cannot go wrong hiring SWC Contractors for any project you're planning for.

My experience over the last 2 years with State Farm with my roof and inside my house has been one of the worst things I've encountered. My house is now almost 18 years old and for 2 years I have been fighting to replace my full roof and damage inside from not one but 2 major storm and wind damages. I have have lost count of how many contractors I who have just given up or wouldn't touch it because they were like state farm is awful and patching a roof that is crumbling they wouldn't touch. Then through a friend who was sharing my story I met Keith. They came to my house on a Sunday spent 3 hours listening to my story and going through all the paperwork. He didn't make me any promises we would win BUT he did promise he would be by my side and use every tool he knew to try and fight them. And he honored his word! He got me connected to Public adjustor company who we worked with on various stuff, he did drone test and pictures, arguing with State Farm etc. Even more amazing if that during this time I had some temporary gray pieces of tarp to try to protect my house. I was also in a battle with with my Homeowners Association. And yes he got engaged in that to helping me write letters, sending his own, offering to testify at meetings etc. all while we continue to fight insurance. Then HOA wanted to fine me $700 a day and he did what no one else would and put temp pieces where it was visible to the neighborhood to get them off my back. I know this was against everything he believed in doing BUT to help me deal with the HOA and not get charged monthly till a resolution with insurance he did it. This finally went all the way to the insurance commissioner. I'd love to say we won that fight but let's call it "draw". I received some reimbursement but still not enough to fix everything inside or the roof so it still not over as I have one more option left. But in the meantime I have to fix the roof now so no more damage happens. My main point I want to leave anyone with who is considering SWC Construction is Stop Considering AND Just Do It! They are great partners and truly a God sent. They have gone above and beyond and their service is like they are family who got your back. Regardless of the final result, partnering with Keith and Georgie has been the best decision out of a horrible situation no one should have to encounter or try to fight alone. The onsite workers were very professional and they did a fine job (except those two spots on the fence, which I accepted) But, before I accepted the quote, I added 10 feet of fencing to get a bit further out from the original quote. On the day of the installation, the workers remeasured and the back section where the fence was increased by 10 feet was off by 19 feet. Then a section of the house with a step hill required the workers to divert the fence a bit more adding about 7 feet. The other side of the house was off by 2 feet - totaling 28 feet. I was given a change order that included the material cost (which is fine) but also had an extra $250 fee for the change order. This was not a change order - this was meeting the agreed upon layout and I even went as far as preemptively adding 10 feet to the project agreement. I sent an email and called. I spoke with the office, but after getting the run around - I just bit my tongue and hung up. I would not use Superior Fence again and would not recommend them to friends or family. This was just not a good way of doing business. I fed the employees, accepted two mistakes, and I get hit with an extra $250. I learned it doesn't pay to be nice sometimes and Superior Fence will nickel and dime you at the end when everything is done and you have no other recourse.

While, the salesman was quick to respond yo my quote request and walked the project. I then received a contract for the work that had items in it that wasn't covered by the salesman. For example, a $50 up charge per hole that they considered difficult to dig. In addition, there was a requirement to clean away any leaves or brush from the fence line. The work completed was excellent, however the management was terrible, resulting in the fence not being completed until June. When I hadn't heard anything from the company about a start date, I went to their office on a Thursday and spoke to a manager who promised me that the work would be completed on Sunday, but that didn't happen after I waited all day. I went back the following week and was promised the fence would be installed on Tuesday, and again that didn't happen after waiting all day again. I understand that companies have staffing problems and unforeseen problems, but that doesn't excuse either making promises they didn't intend on keeping, or the failure to communicate that the proposed installation date wasn't going to happen.
