I haven't done one of these paint classes in a while and I forgot how much fun they are! The instructors were engaging, informative and (most importantly) patient with my amateur painting skills . The end result was very cute and I can't wait to display it in my home. They have a fun paint your pet class they offer monthly, which will definitely be on the plans for November! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

My son purchased this for a mother / son paint night as a Mother's Day gift! What a great time! The instructors, Frankie and Eliza were fabulous! So helpful and fun!!! We had such a great time. I will be getting girlfriends together to do another one!

Came here with a friend to finally try a painting night and I had a really good time! The painting was easy and fun to do and the staff were entertaining and helpful throughout the process. It helped that there are stencils to help you paint because I am the least artistic person possible and I have to say that I think my painting came out pretty good! Prices are a bit on the high side but it's the experience. You can bring your own wine or drinks but they do not serve here, something I guess I misunderstood about the whole event but that's okay. They have different paintings and events going on all the time so check the website and make sure to reserve in advance because they frequently get fairly large groups here.

It was my first time doing a class with Painting with a Twist. First of all, I loved the painting for this class. It was Winnie the Pooh. Definitely grabbed my attention to give this place a try. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed. Nice coat area to hang your belongings, and grab a smock. I didn't feel overwhelmed or judged coming in my sweatpants and hoodie so my clumsiness didn't spill paint all over nice clothes. Unlike other paint classes I've encountered in the past that somehow think it's a good idea to hold it in a tiny space in the middle of a fancy restaurant or bar. People would stare and judge me in that outfit. Not here. My favorite is the seating is very roomy. I didn't feel like I was on top of everyone. Plus it is assigned so you don't have to worry about rushing in extra early to make sure you get paired with your group of friends. I also love that it's BYOB. Drinks, food, etc. Like at my previous paint class I would wait forever in line to buy a drink or food at a busy AF bar, and then basically order all at once because trying to get up and move around that jungle gym of a set up was just not an option. And finding a place to set it at the table and be back to your seat on time is just unheard of. No issues like that here. Overall, had a great and fun time with my friends. The class was entertaining, not rushed, and were offered hands on assistance when needed. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time here and plan on coming back to make future paintings!

Painting our dog was so much fun!

I have heard so many things about painting with a twist but I've never tried it until today. The class I took was paint your pet. It was tons of fun! When you walk in its a really fun place, there's art work everywhere, if you are artistic like me you will be in heaven. They are super organized, everything is set up for you. For the paint your pet class you submit a picture of your beloved pet, they sketch an outline for you. This class is harder because even though you get instructions you are painting YOUR pet, so the tips and tricks are generic. It was a lot of fun to paint, you can bring in wine or beer and your own snack! The staff was so sweet and helpful. Especially for this class, it was more hands on. They walked over to everyone to check on them and help when they needed it. So even though the tips were more generic they came and helped you in any way you needed. I had such a fantastic experience I can't wait to come back!

This was my first masterpiece! Can't wait to make more!

I was a first timer. Holy cow it was so much fun! I didn't see myself as much of an artist, but with the laid back atmosphere and the instruction my painting came out beautiful! I'm hooked! Already booked my next session waiting a week of the first. Can't wait to see what else is coming up for me to enjoy!

Well. I have lots of things to say lol. First, hubby and I JUST finished our paintings and I. FEEL…read more DRAINED LOL. Second, this was both of our first time attempting a painting class at this volume. I've been wanting to attend a Painting with a Twist class for awhile and waited for the best one! Baby Yoda! Third, there are a lot of things to mention and I want to do it now even though I'm parched (ironic, i know) and feel overwhelmed, because I don't want to forget anything. So, you're greeted with a welcome and given instructions to swap your coat for an apron and you can grab cups and small paper plates for your beverages and food, if you bring any. You're also told where your seat is and your name is written on the table. The class was a lot of fun! But also, overwhelming. The pace was pretty quick and at times felt too fast. You definitely don't have time to lolly gag or really take a sip of your beverage. Forget a snack, no time. I think if you think less about each step as you're painting, it'll feel less overwhelming and you'll have time to drink something in between, which I highly recommend! But that's easier said than done because you want your painting to come out perfect. Other things that made it feel overwhelming is the music was playing kind of loud while the instructor was talking and then other people talking over all of that and some people singing. At times I sang a little (not loudly). What can you do, but have fun? Also, not being able to see what/how the instructor is painting because the screens are too far away or someone is blocking your vision. *Tip for the business- Have a picture of the painting at every station so everyone can at least see how your painting is supposed to look because it's hard to see details from far away.* The main points: As the instructor told us, don't forget to breath! Which I did a lot lol. I forgot to breath. Don't fret, it'll look great in the end when it all comes together and you can always blend things out with a sponge. Take a couple sips of your beverage every few steps, because I feel super dehydrated! Have fun! It's just painting and it's meant to be fun!

It was hosted by Sugar Bomb Bakery. Drink and light snacks were complimentary. As always you can bring your own drinks and snacks. The cake was already pre made We just had to decorate it. The lady hosting also gave everyone a piece of one of the cakes to try and it was delicious.

He used a series of dots to walk us through each step--although I personally asked to see an image of the painting prior to beginning, most people did not...leaving them to build their artwork, step by step, and watch it come alive in front of them. I loved the atmosphere, too....an artsy shop on Allen...perfect to meet up with friends to do a painting and then head out to have some fun on Allen! I will most certainly recommend this location to friends who are interested in doing a paint night!

During COVID-19, StudioHue is offering a scaled back version of what crafts they offer, and is making home deliveries (within a 15 mile radius of their location on Broadway in the City of Buffalo) to provide you with some creativity during this time of staying home. The craft kits include everything you need. I went with the dog string art. I received the piece of wood, which had a hanging apparatus attached to it, a sponge paint brush, some paint, the color I chose, nails, and four things of embroidery floss, or the 3 colors that I chose when I ordered the product. This specific kit was $30 and was delivered to me on a Sunday morning. When I received the product Sunday morning, I also got a text message signaling to me that the delivery had been made. I painted the wooden board for my project in about 5 minutes, and let that dry. I then crafted the project in about 2 hours time five days after receiving the project, and the paint was still good to go. I highly recommend them to keep you sane and provide a little creative outlet.
