It is welcoming and homey and comfortable. I like the ceiling. Check that out. Olivia, the dog, I finally got to meet so that was nice as well. The step by step instructions were easy to follow and they were kind enough to take time for anyone who was struggling. I walked away with an awesome wooden little football dude for my porch!!! The book was Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren. You register for the class and pay online. It is an easy process. You pick up the book before the class. You have a few weeks to read the book and then show up to the book club, where you discuss the book while making a craft. I love this concept. This was my dream night/class, getting to read a book and then craft while discussing it. There were about 8 people there and the instructor. Everyone was so kind and excited to be there and talk about the book. The craft was tote bags. We took acrylic paint and painted a bunch of books on there. There were so many creative designs.  The space at Musejar is wonderful. There is a separate entry for art classes and the store. The store has some super cool craft products, as well as a large selection of fiber items, and decor. It is inviting and warm and always decorated with the season or holiday. The art space is open, bright and has everything you need to make your project successful.

In an old…read morepumphouse, with a lighthouse on the property- you will find a quaint little art centre, gallery and studio space for classes. They are currently looking for a pottery instructor too! The gallery space was phenomenal, No pictures are allowed of the artwork, so my only photos are outside, but the space just is wonderful. The first room featured one artist- abstract paintings with vivid colors that really spoke to me and had me wanting to come home and paint! I have a huge canvas hanging in my bedroom that I spent 3 months creating, abstract- some of it was literally me finger painting, lol. But it felt the same as this body of work- playful, open to interpretation. I saw windows, faces, mindscapes. John said they had great texture and he said he easily could see my own work in a similar fashion. The second larger room doubled as a classroom/studio with plenty of storage and countertops, open flooring to set up tables for projects. I can only imagine they also use the yard outside for space- especially on a gorgeous day like when we were there. Situated right on the mouth of the Niagra River- there are stunning views with wonderful breezes off the water. All of the art is for sale, so support a wonderful artist! You can also make a donation directly to the centre- which we did! Love me some art ;)

Sunday boards and Brunch! -I attended the boards and Brunch at Buffalo Collective as their last…read moreclass in there current building. *they plan on moving to another located closer downtown. The board making class was very nice. Easy to follow and there were great saying and different boards you could pick from. The brunch food was so good and there was a lot left over! Unfortunately I think saying unlimited mimosas for the first hour wasn't as what it was listed as. The class leader pours your drinks but it felt hard/weird/awkward to ask for another glass. So each person there only got two glasses of mimosas. I over heard someone asking her for a third later on in the class and the lady said that after the first hour you have to pay. I thought that was wrong, at least for our class. There was really no direction with that.
