I wanted to provide an alternate perspective from the other reviewers here, and say that I had a wonderful experience with the notary at this location. I was a little wary because of the reviews, but decided to give it a chance. So glad I did, because the notary was warm and friendly, interacted with my kids, was very professional and completed the notarization in a timely manner (and beautiful penmanship). It only cost $5 which was an excellent value compared to other places. Thank you Ms. P! Also, there is a small play area for kids at the front of the store with blocks, so very family-friendly. I went to drop off a package. The wait time wasn't bad at a busy time. However, the woman behind the counter was totally not feeling her job. She was incredibly rude, rolled her eyes frequently, and treated another customer and me with that thinly veiled level of contempt. Apparently, she's the same one that others have talked about. It's funny. I thought it might be just the other gentleman and me when I came to read the reviews. What did I find but others who had the same experience? Whoever the owner is, they should seriously retrain or fire this liability to their business. I often come here to get my paperwork notarized. Although normally only manned by one person, I'm never in there for more than 5 minutes. Prices for the notary services are reasonable at $5 a stamp/page. What really made me love this place was the courtesy that the owner showed. Recently I left my ID there and didn't know. I returned from a trip to find a piece of mail in my mailbox stating that I left my ID and to please return. He was so cognizant and copied my ID on a scanner and printed it, then used a black marker to block out all of my information other than my photo. He also attached his business card and stated that he hopes this address is current and to please call him and that he will be holding it for me. In a world where people don't have the time or aren't courteous to protect another person's information I was just extremely impressed that he took the time to protect my information like that and thought of how someone could've utilized the information on my ID if for any reason my address wasn't updated. It's the little things and now this is likely the only place I will use moving forward. read more

Anytime I need a quick notary, this is my go-to store. They only charge $5 per notary. Although my bank notarizes for free, this store is closer to me and has no wait. It's conveniently located in the Publix shopping center on Five Forks. Parking is never an issue. I've also used them for mailing and purchasing mail items. The gentleman who works there, Carl, I think is his name is always helpful and professional. The only reason I know his name is because at my last visit, every person that walked in greeted him by his name. During that same visit, I had one item notarized, bought one large yellow envelope, and mailed said envelope with a packet of documents. My total was $8.59. The store has a variety of office and mailing supplies - from different size and style mailing envelopes and boxes to greeting cards and packing supplies. Customer service is bankrupt at this facility. The African American lady (notary) here needs back to basics customer service training. Honestly she's in the wrong job. One of the worst I've ever encountered. Rude to the hilt and gets upset for asking her basic questions. I questioned her about her customer service style and she rudely told me she responds however she wants. Whoever owns this facility needs to take note. read more

This is an excellent location. I stop over here every so often to ship/drop off packages for UPS/FedEx. The owner of this store is extremely friendly and very helpful. Went there today to get a quote on shipping a package. The African American lady was VERY rude - acted put off by my questions and even rolled her eyes at me - all I was doing was trying to get some info. I have dealt with her one other time and she was rude then as well, actuall said to me, "Don't you just like it when someone tells you your job!" Very rude individual. I've dropped off my USPS mail and use their printer and packaging services. UPS and FedEx charges $3-5 minimum for just a few seconds on a computer to print out 1 thing - this store is only a $1 for computer time to print what you need so long as there isn't a wait! My packages have always been safely and quickly picked up by local USPS. The owner is very helpful and always attentive to his customers! Most guests that walk in, know him by name, and I can tell they trust him with their mail/packages. read more

I have used this store several times for shipping items via fedex and just plain old USPS. Every time the customer service has been simply great - friendly, professional, and efficient. The wait time is never long (compare that to the Post Office!), and their prices are very reasonable.
