This place has very sub standard south Asian food. Ordered naan and chicken tikka once and they were not even cooked properly

What a discovery! Honestly my new go-to place for authentic Hyderabadi food. Craving haleem,…read morebiryani or irani chai? You can tell the food is made with love. Everything we ordered was drool-worthy: Lagan ka gosht - mutton curry, delicious gravy that went perfectly with fresh garlic naan Haleem - a lentil and meat stew with caramelized onions and cashews. You like that stringy texture? This place does it and does it extremely well. My haleem connoisseurs....You know what I'm talking about!! Chicken Biryani - delicious! So many layers and flavours that merge into a scrumptious dish. Comes with a leg and a thigh piece and a mountain of fragrant rice. Irani Chai - frothy and hot. Exactly how you get it in Hyderabad, India. The owner who cashed us out is super friendly and professional. Their Customer service is great - I find south asian restaurants are severely lacking in how to converse with customers but not here! He actually had a full conversation with me (with masks on, ofc). I've added this to my regular rotation of restaurant to order from. Price point is perfect! $6.99 biryani is so pocket friendly. Can't wait to try the whole menu!! I also can't wait for when we can have people over because I'm 1000% going to get catering from here. COVID: when we entered, staff already had a mask on which was extremely satisfying.

I have went again and their food is still as good, with portions just as big. My small gripe about…read morethe biryani being excessively spicy was fixed, as its still spicy, but not so much that you can't keep eating. One thing to be aware of is that online ordering for pickup via their website is no longer accepted. They have yet to remove the ordering integration or stopped allowing orders to be processed. I highly suggest just calling them to order instead.

A truly authentic experience-- we could tell by how many South Asian families were there!…read more The butter chicken sauce was so thick that we took our leftovers home and marinated chicken wings in it; this was perfection. Also, it was nice to see an accessible washroom-- a rarity in Toronto! The only thing that I didn't like was that the salty lassi had cumin seeds in it, but that's my fault because I was expecting something more akin to ayran. The star of the show was definitely the chaat papri-- the crispy wafers and the tamarind sauce are my favourite! I'm so glad the waiter recommended this to us. I would love to come back here and eat my way through this menu!

One of the OG Pakistani food spots in Gerrard street area. They have recently renovated the place…read moreand we went in on a weekend for dinner. Service was good, we ordered chicken kebab, tandoori chicken, chicken karahi and dal along with garlic naans. Their naans are pretty big in size so we were full by just eating 1 naan. I wasn't a fan of their kebab or tandoori tbh but the chicken karahi stole the show. This was one of the best chicken karahi I've had in any Pakistani restaurant. I'd solely be back just to eat it again lol! Their strawberry mango mocktail was very refreshing if you want to try their drinks. However, their washrooms are really not in a good condition and sanitation needs to be improved.

This is a new Pakistani restaurant which just opened on 2025-07-11 along Danforth Ave. I noticed…read morethe bright sign outside so I had to come in the investigate. Since I wasn't there for a meal so I only ordered their Gulab Jamun (4 pcs, $5.99). It tasted and full of sugary goodness as expected. I also ordered a pop ($1.75). The customer service was good. The vibe is simple and clean. They can comfortably seat 18 people. There is one little table outdoors for 2 people. Another diner, who was there, was familiar with Pakistani food. She said the Garlic Naan ($3.99) is amazing. I could see it was large for $3.99! She also ordered the Chicken Jarahi (5 bone, $23.99). She said both were delicious. They also do catering. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are separate male/female washrooms downstairs so they are not wheelchair accessible. There is paid and free neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-143

Consistently delicious food with great prices!…read more The daal ghosht (lentils + lamb) is my favorite dish from the place. Long simmered lentils with lots of lamb for the buck and the springy refreshing taste of ginger spiked throughout! Recommended with a soft and aromatic naan which they do very well. Can't go wrong with the kebabs either, both chicken and beef seekh were great. As was the goat biryani, done Lahori style, so fragrant and flavourful!
