This was my first time here and I chose it based on reviews. I will say I was somewhat anxious at first. It is definitely outdated and my manicurist didn't seem to know where anything was. However, as the appointment went on and she did a great job on my pedicure ($25) and we moved on to my gel manicure ($30), I found out that it was Katie's second day there. She did a great job and was very meticulous. I would definitely return. Also, if you are used to picking out your color when you arrive don't be taken back when they just sit you down and get started. I am very disappointed with my current service. I had a gel nail manicure which started to peel the very next day. I came back to the salon after 3 days to get it fixed. I had my receipt. The polish literally dissolved after my nails were wrapped for 3 minutes. The nail tech was surprised that she didn't even have to scrape the polish. She redid my nails- just a polish change and charged me $20. She said next time i should come back the next day. Maybe I should've but I don't have time to have my nails done every day-that's why I have a gel manicure, so that it lasts 2 weeks. As a regular customer the best customer service they could've provided was to fix the polish at no charge. I will find a new place to have my manicures. read more

So I came here because my favorite salon was booked. Which is fine but I still needed to get my nails painted. The color itself was nice! But, the paint job was TERRIBLE. I would never come to get my fingernails painted here again! I have gotten a toe painting here before it was great and lasted a long time (normal polish). My finger paint was the TOTAL opposite! It has already chipped, and is meesed up in random spots that COULD have been my fault. But overall I'm just disappointed with the paint job that I left with! read more

Great spot in the Publix plaza to get your nails done! I was helped right away and the staff was friendly. They also have a wide variety of nail colors to choose from. I am not happy with this place. My nails looked good BUT Joe used the electric metal acrylic nail file on my REAL Nails. I did not have acrylic nails on It was very painful at the time and I asked him why he was doing that, I should have been more assertive but I'm a little too nice. I wish I would have because at the time he went so far on my middle right finger that I jumped. I swear it felt like he was touching the bone . When I had them filled at a different salon that nail was burning like when lemon gets in a cut . My other nails are sensitive as well but that one is completely damaged. I am taking vitamins to heal it I don't know what to do. It's very painful and in 20 years of getting manicures I have never had anyone use that file on my real nails. I never will again. Not only was this a waste of money but I'm going to pay for it for at least a month. This sucks. read more

This was my 3rd visit for a basic pedicure($25) in the last 3 years. Each time I visit the salon looks worse for the wear. I had made an appointment,however I don't think that matters as the owner acts like his girls do not deserve a break! The technician was VERY unfriendly and rough. She squirted this blue gel that landed on the top of my right foot instead of in the water and that area is still itchy! I asked her not to dig so deep into the sides of my toes and she said she had to! The 2 times before the dead skin on the bottom of my foot was sloughed off. This time it was not and the technician put my shoes on for me(which has never happened before) to disguise the inadequate job performance. By putting on my sandals she scraped off the polish on my pinky toe. The technician was not pleased that I did not want the $40 pedicure. LESSON LEARNED! AVOID THIS PLACE! read more

I go out of my way to go to Palace. Everyone there is friendly, talented, and not pushy. Sure, they'll ask you to add on a service, but they don't force it. It is nice and quiet, but not TOO quiet (like how some places are awkward). It's so pretty and relaxing, I always want to drag out the polish drying process so I can sit and bask in the pretty granite as long as possible. The best set of pink and whites I've ever had was here- and my mom is a nail tech! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it is definitely pricier than the other places in the area. The atmosphere is worth it to me. Even my boyfriend went with me for a pedicure and enjoyed it! read more

I only stopped in today because i couldn't make it out to k normal salon in Tampa. I regretted the decision the moment i got in and the man at the counter was not very friendly. He soaked my nails to clear my fingers of the old gel i had on from my last manicure and then passed me off to a woman who was anything but friendly. She sat me down and asked why i didn't pick a color, when i was never even offered to look at colors in the first place. She seemed irritated that i didn't have a chosen color. After picking my color she asked if i wanted my eyebrows done which i declined politely and she responded with "why not? You need to." This is an offensive response FYI, don't tell your customers they need certain services when it comes to their appearance. I let my eyebrows grow naturally and like them that way. She was rude throughout the whole service, my nails are just okay, and they cost just as much as my normal salon. Super bummed I'm out $30 for a manicure that isn't good. I highly recommend going elsewhere just to be treated nicely. This place is AWFUL. read more

I had the BEST manicure of my life here, almost 3 weeks ago! April 7th, to be exact. Here I am on April 23rd, writing to say that my no-chip French manicure is still going strong. Ask for Lily if you want to try this. I wasn't sure at first about how natural she left the pink part, but as it grows out, there is genius in that!!! They give you so many alternatives for pedicures they go from the basic if you are in a hurry to the top of the line the Palace Signature. Great variety of nail polish and gel polish.
