It's not a critically-acclaimed restaurant for nothing. This is Latin-American cuisine at its finest. The flavors are the closest to the authentic Latin creations I grew up eating, yet also manage to add their own unique and delicious twists to make them pop even more. The ingredients are carefully selected, paired well, and cooked to perfection to make every dish unforgettable. For my first run, I tried the Seared Braised Beef with julienned crispy potatoes, which reminds me of the Lomo Saltado we do in California. The beef is tender and succulent, salty & flavorful, and topped with sliced roasted veggies. The crispy potatoes are amazing, too, but I wish there had been more. This is also the first restaurant I've been to in London that serves fried yuca (cassava) since I moved here... and that was more than 4 years ago. If you're hungry, get this as your side. Brownie points to them for using truffle oil to give them that little extra flair. The drinks don't disappoint, either. Their cocktails are utilizing "better" versions of Latin spirits (think Fair Quinoa Vodka), which means they're slightly pricier but also offer a more varied experience. The wine list is also plentiful, so pick your poison. Given the lively nature of its environment, it's definitely a restaurant for the social experience. However, reservations in advance are strongly recommended, whether you're coming alone or in a group. The ONLY downside I could find about this place was their complete lack of alternative milks. So, if you want something other than dairy to go with your tea or coffee, you're out of luck. In my case, I ended up opting for their Espressini cocktail with Fair Trade Coffee Liqueur instead. Amazing experience. The service was awesome, and the food was some of the best we have ever had. Our favorite was the Cochinita pibil and the grilled chimichurri prawns. Our favorite dessert was the pumpkin flan. We may pass on the califlower and the churros next time. My drink was fabulous. Overall, had a great time, the staff were chatty and even kept the kitchen open for us to have dessert. The inside is modern, trendy, and clean. Paladar was a little out of the way to get to but was a good meal. Walked about a half hour from the Tate Museum to get here. Loved the ambiance inside, obsessed with the artwork hung. Service was great, our server was informative, checked on us, and was overall very sweet. I loved that they had an electronic pad set up with pictures of all the dishes as it was helpful in selecting the food we wanted. Did not enjoy the hominy corn at all, but the chimichurri fries and grilled chicken thighs were both amazing, and tres leches tiramisu for dessert was divine. I would give this place 10 out of 5 stars if I could! The food was AMAZING, especially since it's all 100% gluten free. As someone with Celiac Disease and has a mom who is vegetarian, there were a TON of options to choose from. The service was incredible! Visiting London and the last night of our trip happened to be our 25th wedding anniversary . We came across this restaurant and so glad we did. The waiter was so attentive and did a celebratory shot to help enhance our experience. My wife had the sea bass and I had the crispy pork belly . Along with the plantains and guacamole app made the meal complete. Great choices for South American cocktails as well. read more

This is a must! Take the time and eat here and if you have celiac like I do , you definitely should eat here. You would never know everything is gluten free, the food is delicious, the ambiance fantastic and the staff amazing. We stumble upon this restaurant by chance and I highly recommend it. We tried a few different items from the menu. The Plantain chips with guacamole, the empanadas, the tuna tartar, the sea bass ceviche and the dry aged steak. My favorite were the sea food items. We ended up ordering another ceviche. Paladar's neighborhood was certainly not on my radar as a hot dining scene, although logistically it was only half an hour's walk from the City and not too far from the Anchor & Hope pub and Dragon Castle dim sum by Elephant & Castle. Experience in London tells you that often the coolest new places are where the lowest rents are. On a friend's suggestion, I came here on a weekday evening with two friends. Perhaps courtesy of their location, they have tons of space and a lovely waiting area where I was able to sit on a sofa, order a pisco sour, and flip through a book about wine while waiting for my tardy companions. As for the food, we were given excellent guidance and ordered the plaintain crisps with guacamole and the beef brisket empanadas, which came out almost immediately. We then ordered the tuna tartare, grilled octopus, Cuban confit park, and roast aubergine. All of these dishes were thoroughly enjoyable, and I wouldn't change a thing. This also left plenty of room for dessert, and we enjoyed the bread pudding, soursop mousse, and blue corn churros, of which the churros are a must order. We also had a lovely bottle of Chilean pinot noir. I admit that at first I was a bit sceptical of the whole "Latin American" dining concept, as I have certainly come across Peruvian, Argentinian, and Brazilian in London... always separately. But overall I was very impressed with the experience and would highly recommend, particularly if you are in the area. read more
