AWESOME PLACE, GREAT PRICE, EXCELLENT SERVICE. Since we moved to our new home fixing the pool was our top priority. We've visited every tile place we found in the Anaheim and Fullerton areas and every where we heard of a tile shop. Finally, we landed the jack pot. We found the best prices and top service at Palata Tile. The owner recommended a beautiful tile for the water line and we chose the stone for the wall on the side of the pool. 2 stars for the huge selection. Wide selection on that splattered common looking tile but it's overpriced. Nice selection of "imported" tile but again way overpriced. Guys are nice but that sales attitude interferes. I was quoted $3 something for a meh tile & $6 something for the nicer stuff. When I returned the sample disinterested suddenly the $6 tile dropped to $4.50 because oops he made a mistake...,Same guy too. $4.50 & I still found it cheaper elsewhere. read more

I bought a fixer upper and I hired Palata tiles to come and replace all the flooring in my house. My original floor was uneven, and he didn't just install on uneven floors, he took the extra effort (with out charging extra) to even out the floor while he was installing the tiles. He wasn't just installing tiles, he considered his installation as craftsmanship. He really took pride in his work, and results reflected it. Wow, this is the worse experience I ever had buying tile from this place. This Hassan sales guy is a complete rip off. No concern for customer service at all and extremely dishonest. I place an order on a saturday for tile which he confirm he could get it for me on monday latest tuesday. I was hessitan to order since I had a guy working on my project over the weekend, i specifically told the guy that I needed right away, he say not to worry I have it in Anaheim.So I order the tile and on monday i didnt get a call, then came Tuesday and nothing. I call him and suddenly he say oh by the way the tile is coming from Texas, I was like come on man, u told me Tuesday. He got offended and acted very rude and told me that I could not cancel the order and If I did I would have to pay restocking fee. It was his fault for giving me wrong expectations at which he complain that I didn't understood him. This is BS, any other business would have taken responsibility. The tile is due to come in on Friday now, im way behind on my project and this guy doesn't give a damma about the fact that I had to get a different person to finish the job, well guess what. I'm telling everyone I know of this situation so this doesn't happen to anybody again. I look forward to speaking with the owner as this is really bad practice in general. I renovated my kitchen and I chose Palata Tile. I read the bad reviews and was a bit nervous. Everything they promised was delivered on time. They removed the floor tile and kitchen cabinets all in one day they came back the next day and put in new floor tile. Due to my request they came back a couple of days later they put in the cabinets and the granite the next day. I was impressed with their work and I love my kitchen it is beautiful! read more

I ordered $1,518.50 worth of tile on the front end of a major renovation that took 6 months. After ordering, I went to check on it a few weeks after it came in. They couldn't find the invoice and I had to go in the back and search for the tile myself. Also, they don't tell you, but buried within the fine print on their invoice, it says you have to pick up your tile w/in 90 days. It took longer than that for the floors to be ready and the tile was gone when I returned. No apology. Nothing. I would shop somewhere else. read more

I had the greatest experience at Palata tile! Hayssam the store manager went out of his way to find me the perfect tile chair rail. I was confused on what I wanted after talking to him he figured it out for me. He looked through countless books and made phone calls to find exactly what I wanted. I was originally going to buy my subway tile and trim next door at signature tile. The best decision I ever made was to buy it at Palata. It was half the price and Hayssam had it all ready for me the very next day. They have excellent customer service with great products! read more

We were on a limited budget but Barak and George worked with us to get the tile and carpeting we wanted at a price that was in our budget, and we had compared quite a few places. Getting the right price was one thing, but getting the carpet installed is always a question mark. However, the guys they had install the carpet were hard workers, came in on a Sunday, the day before Labor Day, started at 8:30 and worked right through to 5:45. When moving the furniture, they were very careful not to scratch or bump anything and both workers were very polite. They really knew what they were doing. George was very professional , helpful he was very prompt in giving me the estimate and accommodating to my schedule. The selection at Palata Tile was exceptional. The job that was done here at my home was done professional and on time , Martin and Caesar were very detailed in their work and very friendly . In addition the price for the tile and for the work was less than half that I have received from other tile stores. I read the reviews on yelp some good some bad after going into the business because that's what I do. I can only speak on my experience . There business ethics is not there....without having to give a long story on my horrible experience I will say they continue to loose my order AND I was told by one of there employees that the owner owns a few more tile stores on 9th street....so if your shopping around for pricing on that street chances are you will find maybe a penny or two in your favor!! read more

I'm disappointed that I made such a large purchase with this company and built what I felt was a good repore with the sales associates, namely George. I contacted the store the other day to buy one additional piece of materiel to complete our entire remodel. The piece I needed was $20. George advised I would have to pay an additional $35 for shipping on the piece. I informed him I would pick it up in the store and he insisted I would still have to pay the shipping. I felt this was poor business. After all we have purchased. When I finally agreed to pay the additional fee he said he wouldn't sell it to me. It's terrible that this business relationship has gone south over $35. I will NEVER refer business to the organization and I regret doing business with them to begin with. I live in a gated community where many of the other owners have come inside to see my new home. When they ask where I got the materials I refuse to tell them. Palata will not get any customers from me. I too own my own business and keeping my clients happy is my biggest priority. That's not the case with them. read more

We are very pleased with the job Palata Tile & Stone did in my bathrooms. We started at the showroom in Rancho Cucamonga picking out the wall tiles and accents for my stall shower also found the quartz counter top there too. Went to the Upland store for the floor tiles. I did both bathrooms with tile on the floor, quartz counter tops and redid my stall shower in the master bathroom. Magic ( never asked why) was very professional, came out and measured and called the next day with an estimate. I was very pleased with the price quoted. Since i was doing both bathrooms, I was a little worried how long it would take but Magic scheduled all the workmen to be done in a week. Every day there was someone here, the tile setters worked around the counter top guys and the plumber. Everyone worked very hard to get the job done. We would definitely recommend them. We plan to re carpet the rest of the house and we will go back to Palate Tile & Stone. read more
