Paletería La Paloma is hands down one of the best ice cream spots in the Todos Santos area. On this visit, I tried the Nuez (caramel) and Coco flavors, and both were absolutely out of this world--rich, incredibly creamy, and packed with flavor. My kids chose the Pistachio and Rocky Road, and those were fantastic as well. What made this visit even more special is that it was actually my second time here. A few years ago, while visiting Todos Santos, we were heading home one evening and craving some ice cream. We stumbled upon this place by chance and loved it. This time around, I specifically looked it up, but it wasn't until I walked inside and saw the decor that I realized this was the same place we had discovered years ago. It's always a great sign when a place leaves such a lasting impression that you remember it years later. Delicious ice cream, great flavors, and a memorable experience every time. My favorite ice cream spot in Todos Santos/Pescadero. Many delicious and unique flavors at a very reasonable price. They sell the typical cups and cones of ice cream, and they also sell liters and 1/2 liters as well, which I get all the time. It's right in the center of Todos Santos and it's generally very easy to find parking within a block of the shop. Highly recommend Mi heladería favorita en Todos Santos/Pescadero. I cannot stop thinking about the popsicles from this place. I ordered the guava popsicle and it was out of this world delicious. Other recommendations include the mango and coconut popsicles. Todos Santos has a bunch of these places but some were crazy busy because they were right next to the Hotel California which attracts a lot of tourists. 8 years ago I visited Todos Santos on a surf trip for a week, I went here on the first night and didn't go anywhere else for ice cream the entire trip; trying new flavors every night. 8 years later and I am still raaaaaaaving about the Romero Limon flavor. I had been finding myself craving that flavor for the past 8 years, and when I took another surf trip down there last month the first place I went was here to get the Romero Limon ice cream. The corn, avocado, and guava flavors are good, but nothing can even come close to the rosemary lemon ice cream that this place serves. I wish I could have it shipped back to the US. read more

We were told to go to this place and try their famous flavors like avocado, can corn, and passion fruit. The place doesn't look like much, but their ice cream is incredibly tasty. They stuff their ice cream with as much of the actual ingredient as possible and you can really taste it. Simple but high quality, I've never had ice cream blow my mind before! Absolutely the best ice cream we have ever had in Baja! Platano con nuez and Oreo were the two best flavors we tried!

P$38 for a large scoop of ice cream in waffle cones. Everything is made en casa, and there are some funky flavor such as bacon. There are also tons of Mexican popsicle flavors. However, the best stuff are the tropical flavors such as coconut and the strawberry sorbet. Not cheap, but beats eating the crap that's being sold as ice cream elsewhere in town. read more

There is something about dairy products that is nothing short of magic here. This may be the best ice cream place ever. I openly mocked my girlfriend for getting strawberry and chocolate, with the wide variety they had. I had to admit i was wrong. All their ice creams have a rich and just sweet enough base to be rich and not cloying. The strawberry was made with real strawberry and the chocolate with what i believe to be real cocoa. I had pistacchio, almond Mocha and Pecan, over two visits there and they were exceptional. My only regret is we didn't have time to try the fruit bars too. read more

We lived in Todos for 3.5 years, and this was always our favorite treat spot. I want to post about something they did for me which was very generous and completely unrelated to ice cream - just a show of their kindness. I will never forget it. Last night I left my purse in the store - with my passport in it - and we were scheduled to fly out this morning. We left the shop just as it was closing and headed home, 17 miles away. We were almost home when I realized I didn't have my bag. By the time we got back the shop had been shuttered for an hour. About 5 minutes later we arrived, they pulled up with their two small children. They live far outside of town, and instead of just leaving it for the next morning, they had gone to get something to eat and then returned to the shop in the event that we came back.
