I even tried backing out of buying it but was informed if I did I would lose my $2500 earnest money, real professionals. Don't trust Shawn or Josh they withhold important information on the "actual" houses they sell. I had numerous credible contractors give me a price on the gable end that was missing, was told that was $15,000 that should have been taken out of the purchase price! Nobody ever said one word about the home being built any different from the house I picked out on Zillow. I even contacted Shawn about my concrete driveway/ sidewalk after they had to tear it out once because of pouring concrete in 15 degree weather just to have it poured back even worse, my sidewalk goes from 4ft to 42in and my driveway is 4in different in width from the garage to the sidewalk at street edge. He was too busy getting on a flight and shrugged it off like it was nothing, so this is what you can expect from Shawn Maxey and Josh Vazquez, complete lack of respect for the buyer but they got their commission on the sale so who cares right!?

When moving in they had our move in date wrong so they almost wouldn't let us move in until we produced an email showing we were in-fact there on the correct day. Several cabinets, shelves, and other things in the apartment were broken or "off" when we moved in. Most of the electrical sockets are 'loose' if the plug doesn't have a grounding pin, it will sag and most likely fall out. One plug got scorched from this happening. The office is completely disorganized. There have been several times we provided paperwork to them and they either lost it or cannot be bothered to look into our file before contacting us or charging us a fee. i.e. Lease Renewals, proof of Renter's Insurance, etc. They often double rent parking spaces leading to people often almost getting towed. Gate NEVER works even though this community was advertised as Gated and/or Secured. In over 3+ years it's maybe worked culminative 2 weeks. People are constantly wandering around the parking area, I have a camera on my car and have caught people looking into windows and trying door handles even during the day time. Multiple homeless camps in the surround the area. I set up a security system for my apartment. Additionally, I lived in one of the outer buildings and there is an outer door that's supposed to lock before you get to the individual apartment door but there's no bell for each unit. I installed a ring doorbell so I could get my packages and food before it gets stolen. There have been MULTIPLE SHOOTINGS right outside my apartment window. First time there was several shooters, the buildings still have bullet holes. They returned the following week and killed the guy on the other side of the complex. The 2nd time someone was dumping a stolen car and cop went to investigate and was shot. The cop survived. The 3rd and most recent time a person was shot 5 times, at least once in the face, and did not survive. Gate did not work during any of these occasions. I bought a gun and applied for my CCW because I can't take the trash out or check the mail and feel safe here. The apartment next to mine was empty for a few weeks and there were squatters several times. Had to kick a vagrant, who was high, out of the hallway when I got home from work one night. Tons of stray and feral cats it the complex. There have been several run over and killed, I've disposed of a dead kitten myself. Trash is everywhere. They used to have a recycling program but got rid of it. The dumpsters are constantly overflowing and birds/wind/rain scatter trash all over. Bulk trash piles up near dumpster and attracts people to collect the metal and other scroungers. They also seem to change the trash management company every few months which increases the fees associated. Pool hours were changed mid summer to only be open when the office is so if you work 9-5 and want a refreshing dip in the pool too bad, also not open on the weekend because the office isn't. They recently changed the Office to appointment only, not sure if it's because the staff didn't feel safe (after 4 shootings in 3 years they might not) and/or they didn't want to pay staff to be here full time but that means there's no clubhouse, weight room, or maybe Pool access without an appointment. Maintenance is usually pretty on top of things but, occasionally it will take over a week for them to respond to repair requests. Things will break or stop working again and they'll seemed annoyed they need to come back and re-repair what they didn't fix last time. The dishwasher in my unit kept falling out of its hole despite several repair attempts. After having a child we didn't feel safe here and terminated our lease early to move to a safer place. Just Search "Aero Apartments" on the Facebook Group "Tacompton Files" for more examples of how unsafe this complex is. They don't care about nothing but their money. I've been here since July 2020 and my rent have raised multiple times! When I just renewed my lease in November, they DID NOT give me notice that my rates were changing until the day I renewed. When going over the lease I noticed it had a new rate and when I asked about it they said every resident gets a 10% increase every time they renew, which was not advised to me prior, and it is also not listed in the lease. My car has been broken into multiple times in the last 2 months, someone has been going around busting out our windows and stealing things from our cars - or trying to steal our cars. When I told the office about it they said they aren't responsible for our cars, and therefore will not be putting up any cameras, which I feel like would completely prevent the break ins. I also emailed the office about acknowledging the situation and I never got a reply, and they do this often! I've sent multiple emails to them with concerns and never get a reply, but as soon as they need something from you they expect a prompt response and nothing less. We pay for a gated community here and the gates are ALWAYS BROKEN! Again, I've been here for over two years and the entire time the gate has always been broken, given anyone access to our "gated" community. There was a fatal drive by shooting a couple months ago on site which I feel would have been prevented if there was properly operating gates and operating cameras on site. This neighborhood is not safe for anyone that has children! We pay for amenities such as the gym, pool, etc and they always use every excuse in the book to not have the pool up and running. If amenities are incorporated into our rent, then lower the rent if we can't use these amenities! This is a pet free community, and the pet owners here never clean up after their pets. There is dog feces everywhere, even in the park area where the kids play. This community is completely unsanitary. The trash situation here is unbelievable! There are not enough trash bins for the size of the community here, which every week the trash bins are overflowed with trash in which rats and other rodents are prone to. The trash fee here is insane! I've never paid so much for a trash bill in my life. We also have rats in the walls every now and again. They crawl in the wall along the refrigerator and dining room area and when I called into the office for them to take care of the issue, they set up an appointment for pest control to come by. On the date of the appointment they were a no show. Someone then texted me days later and told me why they didn't show and set up another appointment, but my thing is, why weren't they professional enough to tell me on the day of they weren't going to be coming? They just didn't show and didn't say a word. For the amount of rent here and dealing with all of this, it is not worth it! I pay too much to be dealing with these things for it not to be considered by management. Again, all these issues have been going on for years! DO NOT RENT HERE and if you do just be prepared for the bullshit!
