Such a great shopping center filled with all the best restaurants, stores and entertainment! Our family of 4's most recent visit was on Saturday and we decided to make a whole afternoon out of it! I enjoyed this fabulous shopping plaza. There are great restaurants, and retail stores. We came on a perfect time because Nordstrom Rack had some great deals on clearance. There was a large Whole Foods. There is plenty of parking. It is walking distance from the hotel I'm staying at. read more

Updating my reviews of the Palladio as we frequently shop there, go to movies, and events in the summertime. Remains our favorite shopping location as it has a variety of shops, places to eat in an outdoor environment which is well laid out. There is plenty of parking if you use the two parking garages located on opposite sides of the shopping center. There is parking on the street but it is limited. It's located in Folsom just off of I50 and it's easy to get to. Our favorite movie theater is here as well! read more

The Palladio is such a great place to walk around. There's so many shops to look at, it's easy to spend a whole day here. Plenty of restaurants to eat at followed by places to grab some dessert. There's a movie theater too, what more could you want! Today there happened to be a little family halloween fest which looked so cute with some small performances and even horse hay rides! Overzealous mall cops. I left the movies, went to my car, and as I was putting the extra red vines in the front trunk of the car, the mall security rolled up on me and told me I was loitering and had to leave! I hadn't been out of the theatre for more than 5 minutes including the walk to the parking lot. What kind of nonsense is that!? I mean, I was leaving anyway, but now I don't expect I'll go back. read more

We love Folsom! Had a lovely day with my precious daughter here today. Date day! It's so nice to just spend time with her. We were actually on our way to Eldorado Hills, I took the 2 boys there yesterday, but my little girl diverted and wanted to go to Folsom instead. So glad we did! Frozen yogurt, a little bit of "gigantic" connect four and of course she wanted to get something cute and pretty at Claire's! And of course I obliged! Awesome little outside mall/pavilion ordeal. It's such a nice spot to get lunch or shop around and the selection is so much better than before! Seaquest is a great addition! Our little just loved it and had so much fun there! I had never been to the Palladio shopping center it's such a nice area to walk around go shopping or grab a bite to eat ! They have a stage for live performances with a lot of cute painted art hearts to look at! I really enjoyed their luxe theater very nice ! The happy hour at Iron Horse was amazing delicious food and drinks ! We really enjoyed our day here !! Very nice area ! 7/10/2019: It was BLAZING HOT at the Palladio located in Folsom CA BUT I must remarkably comment IMHO, the Palladio always had awesome venues promoting sight, sound, and tactile experiences, since moving in 2016 to this stomping ground. Comparatively, most outdoor malls lack vibrancy, lack ambiance, and sadly, lack promotional events especially, snooty-tooty-high falluting "Stanford Shopping Center" which is an egregiously high-end shopping experience located in Palo Alto CA, i.e., obtusely boring, indeed~eye-roll, pul-lease!!!! Something is always cool happening at the Palladio: The Palladio has this vibe~a buzzing, delightful aura . . . What is it? What is this buzzing aura, eh? Could the fabulous aura be the eclectic shops or the plethora of awesome cuisine establishments located here-hmmm? Meh~I think not . . . It's the cool venues drawing crowds such as the rocking, groove-explosion band my brother and I saw after watching, "SpiderMan" at the Palladio Luxe Cinema-THAT'S the aura-driven ticket! read more

Nice outdoor shopping center. Be sure to have your comfy walking shies on though! Definitely for a nice, springy, cool day, but not for a hot day! Not much shade to sneak under, but very vast and open shopping center. From eateries, to clothing, hair salons, theater, and even a little interactive mini aquarium pet center aka SeaQuest. The movie theaters and Whole Foods Market are a nice addition to the shopping center too. The many open areas with nice landscaping make the shopping center more enjoyable and give me a very relaxed feel. I like the way I can shop and relax there at the same time. They have many outdoor activities and concerts there in the summer. Be sure to check the schedule online and get there early. Whenever I go visit my brother in Folsom, I like stopping by the Palladio. I like grabbing a bite at Mas Taco and then go for a walk around afterwards. Most of the time I like going to Barnes & Nobles. I don't usually shop anywhere else here but there are a ton of spots to sit while you wait for others to do shopping. Summer Concert Series I've attended a few Summer Concert events here at the Palladio and they are fun! The piazza comes alive when the Palladio turns up the sound and the crowd is entertained by great dance bands. These 2-hour concerts are held on Wednesdays from June to August beginning at 7:00p. Last Wednesday Palladio hosted the last band for 2018 series. Seats (folding chairs) were provided by Palladio each concert series and they are usually set up around the fountain area but I've seen visitors also bring their own lawn chairs and they pick their spots on the grass area to watch. This is an outdoor shopping center. I've not done any shopping here except to dine. The Palladio has Charming Charlie, MAC, Victoria's Secret, etc but mostly a mixed bag of stores that are not familiar to me. My teen loves shopping at H&M and she had recently had a painting class session at Painted which she enjoyed (no wine for her... I bought her a bottle of water instead). My favorites? That would be Pretty Sweet, Jake's Desserts, and Pinkberry (yes, dessert shops!) but I've also dined at Lazy Dog, Blue Nami and Johnny Rockets. There are street parking as well as use of the garage. Nice Open Air Mall, Good Stores and Services. On my first visit last week I was appalled to see 100's of Street Urchin Type Kids on Bikes making a Total Nuisance of themselves. Some were doing Wheelies in front of Cars. It was around 5 PM and there were a lot of Pedestrians so I was driving slowly and 4 Urchins Stated Tailgating me, really up close, like 1 Ft behind my SUV, when I called them out, the youngest Urchin abbot 12 rode his Bike around the Left Side of my Car and cut in front of my Car and almost Skidded in from of my Wheels, he could have been Run Over. Parents and Mall Management Take Note. Bikes and Skateboards are Banned in Sensible malls, and rightly so, for a Reason: They don't belong. Won't be going back until this stops.. read more

Mediocre shopping center that's been 50% vacant for at least a decade when I first visited. Since COVID, pretty much every store received curbside pickup spots which is nice but now that everything is open, these spots have been empty 99% of the time. All they do now is take up valuable parking space. It's clean when walking around but since it's an outdoor shopping complex, you're open to the sun/rain/wind. Right now when it's 100+ outside, it's not the most fun place to be. Hot sun reflecting off of concrete. They should've add more overhangs or pergolas like other nice shopping complexes have. Maybe even add misters like some of the shopping centers I've been to in Arizona. Landscaping is blah. Most of the walking areas are just concrete with small squares of shrubs and a small tree. The intersection where Red Robbin and Starbucks is located is a nightmare. The shrubs block the view of drivers at the far back stop signs so no one can tell who was there first. People just roll through the intersection. The fountain square area is the only nice sitting area to hang out. The security guards Palladio has hired are comical. They drive a Prius and Tacoma around looking all cool but do nothing. People illegally park/stop in red zones making it impossible to make it through the narrow roads and the security guards do nothing. At least tell them to keep moving or ticket them. Some of these drivers park there for over 30 min! Shopping and restaurant wise, it's good but not the best. Food options are alright but they all have their positives and negatives. In terms of shops, most of these spaces have been vacant with cardboard stock art for 10+ years. There's always been a lot of turnover with some businesses leaving altogether. Why? I'm guessing the rent is too high to attract businesses. All in all, Palladio is a nice place to have nearby if you live here in Folsom but it has much to improve. It could easily turn into the next 'dead mall', especially since they are having such a difficult time attracting new shops/restaurants. I'm hoping it does eventually fill in. read more

The "Palladio" is a great alternative to the crowded Arden Mall or Roseville Galleria. That is not to say this mall is empty: It is spaced out enough to allow for a better flow of shoppers. Being in an outdoor mall allows you to enjoy a fresh breath of air instead of being cooped up inside the entire time. Benches and assorted restaurants with outside seating also create a better shopping experience, for when you need to take a break. There have been some major changes over the past few years: Stores and restaurants have come and gone, and new buildings have been added, including a newer dine-in theatre. The flagship store, a behemoth of a "Barnes and Nobles" includes a cafe with real meals, and is one of very few to offer this. I could spend hours getting lost in this bookstore, browsing, reading, hanging out in the comfy seats and having a bite. I am always enthralled with new ideas for home decor in the "Kirkland" store and admit I have to pop into "Charming Charlie's" every time. I recently dined at the newish addition, "Lazy Dog" restaurant and the patio was beautiful. There seems to be a good mix of "mall" type stores with restaurants, theaters and activities (music events). The first time I stopped by the Palladio was for an event in the large courtyard. Although it was a blazing hot day in the middle of Summer, it was still nice to walk around in the shaded areas provided. There are always pluses and minuses to an outdoor venue, but I like being able to stretch my legs, have a coffee or dine outside (weather permitting of course) and discovering new stores. read more

There is a diversity of businesses that occupy the shopping center, which is convenient when you have a few things you need to accomplish . My frequently visited spots include Whole Foods, Kirklands, Nordstrom Rack, H&M, the movie theater , Chicago Fire , Pinkberry, and Starbucks. Victoria Secrets and Charming Charlie's are also popular stores here as well. My favorite attribute of the Palladio is the beautiful and well maintained grounds . I love coming here just to walk around with my dog ! The Palladio is a good size shopping center , and it's nice to just meander about to enjoy all the lovely trees and plants. They have super thick and green grass that my dog loves. In fact , the Palladio is very dog friendly and even has a few doggy bag dispensers along the walkways. The center of the shopping center had a wonderful large water fountain feature . This is where the they also hold special events, such as outdoor concerts snd shows . This evening we got to see the annual tree lighting festival ! They had local school kids put on a holiday theme show, and free hot chocolate and cookies for everyone ! I love the Palladio ! Palladio's are more than just an outdoor shopping mall, this place has two amazing movie theaters, number of good restaurants, and places where you can socialize. When I come here with my wife & kids, we love to spend time in Barnes and Noble's, where kids can browse through toys or read books while I am sitting in the lounge area and working on my laptop and or we use this time to chat. Also they serve Starbucks drinks and have a full restaurant inside. If you want some sweets, there are a variety of choices. Stopping by See's candies is a must. Also Whole Foods has a lot of good choices such as macarons, crime brûlée, cakes and all kind of sweets. I come here sometimes simply for time alone, grabbing some Starbucks and taking an enjoying walk while browsing through different stores. Usually I end up in Nordstrom for an unplanned shopping time or strolling through Kirkland's and enjoying new house decor ideas. We have eaten our last meal at the Palladio. We took out of town guests there yesterday evening for dinner. The weather was good so we chose outdoor seating around a central flower bed. We just started to eat when a family of rats began running in and out of the flower bed. There were at least 4 different rats. These rats were not shy, even walked around on the base of an adjacent empty table looking for food. Embarrassing to say the least, disgusting is a better term. Palladio needs to get competent pest control in place. read more

A very cool place to shop! I go to the Palladio at least once a week, either to head for food or to go shopping! I have been to almost every store at the Palladio (aside from Gymboree and a few other stores). Love the cool events and concerts that they have during the summer too! Enjoy the outdoor events, seasonal promotions (ie Mother's Day Promos) and many others that cater to family. The cool attractions include: 1) $5 movie night at the theaters 2) whole foods and their bier garden 3) cool restaurants 4) parking structure and electric charging stations I can't wait to see how the Palladio grows in a few years. Five stars for Barnes and Noble, Torrid, and the Sweets place by the lawn area. All very nice staff. They give a classy atmosphere with a down home sort of sweetness. It's totally my jam. That's what I like. My dog feels special when we bring her to the Palladio. She loves to walk around with us and sit with her grandma in the grassy area. My mom appreciates the rest she gets sitting in the outdoor chairs. This is the perfect family spot. Little something for everybody. Oh, and we sometimes indulge in a little Red Robin. We like coming to this shopping center when we are in the area. It doesnt have a ton of stores, but they are always expanding. My favorite places to shop are Torrid and Kirkland's. It took almost as long as the founding of Rome for the Palladio to come to full fruition. It stubbornly persisted to become THE shopping center in Folsom despite businesses dropping out and the economic downturn. What it has become today is sort of a mixed bag, but one that has grown on me with every visit. Pro: It's an outdoor shopping center. Shops are spread out and far enough apart that you can enjoy a leisurely stroll in the summer sunshine. Con: It's an outdoor shopping center. Every trek from one door to another seems like an eternity in the biting winter cold. Pro: It's handsomely built, with archways and beautiful fountains. Con: The horrible music they pump from hidden speakers everywhere is enough to make even the most uncultured among us start screaming. Pro: They have a Whole Foods, Kirklands, awesome movie theater and great clothing shops. Con: They have a Toby Keiths. Pro: Plenty of parking. Con: Drivers who can't park. As you can see, there is a lot to like and a lot to pick apart. I'm giving it four stars because the pros outweigh the cons in my book. read more

Many years later this shopping center is still bare and sad... I only come here for Nordstrom Rack and H&M. I had high hopes for this mall. Dreaming of stores like Free People or their sister store Anthropologie to open here. Roseville is always fun but sometimes can be a long drive from where I live. So I come here if I had plans on stopping by Folsom for fun. It makes me sad to drive through this enormous mall and see all these walls of emptiness. The movie theater is always fun and my personal favorite in Sacramento, although I don't go there anymore. Nordstrom Rack is probably the only store here besides H&M that is making any actual money here. Barnes and Noble is a beautiful addition and their storefront is gorgeous. But I don't know how much longer they will survive now that Amazon is slowly opening their brick and mortar stores across the country. I just hope B&N will stay for a good while because this shopping center desperately needs it. So far I remember this mall losing a few businesses already since last year: 2 restaurants, a gift store that I don't remember the name of (but I do recall them selling overpriced Hello Kitty merchandise). The rent must be crazy high here, which makes sense since Folsom's cost of living is so expensive, as well. If this mall doesn't fill up with shops soon I don't know how much longer it will survive. I hope it does, it's a beautiful mall and is much needed in Folsom due to the city's lack of a proper mall (the closest one is Sunrise mall but who goes there anymore)? I really like it here though, I just wish the stores weren't so faraway from each other. But oh well. read more

It's a place you can shop for clothes, books, jewelry, perfume, food, go to the movies, eat in about 10 different restaurants, stroll, chill, paint..I mean, what else do you need? This year I took my kids here to see Santa. I wasn't excited because we went last year and santa was kinda rude. Nothing I could pin point but it was expensive. But this year I (was stupid) and didn't make reservations for Santa in time and all the good places (like bass pro) were filled. So I took my girls back. Big mistake. Santa said three words to them. Barely even looked at them. Which was strange because they had us fill out a form before hand about my kids... Honestly I care more about the kids interaction with Santa then my photos. Speaking of which- My youngest wasn't smiling in any of the photos. Which has happened before but normally they will let us take another round. This year they didn't which wasn't the end of the world. But left a bad taste in my mouth. What really bothered me is the employee tried to get me to pay an extra ten dollars for a print that was supposed to be included in the package. Then didn't believe me when I tried to correct her. I literally pulled up the pricing page. Which bothers me because Christmas this year is already so expensive. I don't want to pay 45$ for two prints. Plus imagine all the people they scammed out of money because they didn't know the price list. Then they rushed us out so fast that I didn't have time to buy a frame! Keep in mind we were 10 minutes early to our reservation and there was no one in line. Save your time. Go somewhere else! Anywhere else! read more
