I'm very excited for Beach Hut Deli to open where Jack's used to be and I'm glad Jack's is still there but in a bigger space.

There are also a number of excellent restaurants within also! Some of my favorite places are: Williams & Sonoma, Talbots Petites, Soma, Pavilions Shoes & Gifts, Cafe Bernardo, Piatti Ristorante & Bar, & Wildwood Kitchen & Bar. I love the upper class feel to this shopping center. It's such a nice change from the usual chain store malls. Lots of original stores, shops and places to eat. Calm, casual shopping is more my thing and this is the place to get away from the crowds of pushy people with uncontrollable children and teenagers. While you won't find discount department stores here, they make up for it with specialty merchandise that you may not find anywhere else. The shops are neat and clean, with pleasant atmospheres. Employees are friendly, polite and acknowledging when we enter the door. While I have to admit that as I grow older and on a fixed income, shopping in general is losing it's luster, this place lights a romantic spark as to what classy shopping is all about!

Is Arden Fair my favorite mall? No, but it is close to where I live and always gets the job done!…read more Arden Fair is a big sized mall with plenty of parking - it obviously gets pretty busy on the weekends and especially around the holidays! When I visit, I usually stop into stores like Claire's, Foot Locker, Hot Topic, Lush, Macy's and Sephora. They also have a Miniso, Pandora, Spencer's, Coach and a brand new Pop Mart - just to name a few! Their food court is pretty decent offering Charley's Phillysteaks, Taco Bell, Panda Express and even Sbarro. They also offer different places to eat and grab drinks around the mall such as Cinnabon (my family's personal favorite), Jamba Juice, Wetzel's Pretzels and Hot Dog on a Stick. Santa and the Easter Bunny even visit for photos during their respected holidays! Overall, I'm not really sure what to say about the value, each business is differently priced obviously depending on where you go and the service is the same. I tend to only come to Arden Fair Mall when I need something specific and try my best to get in and out!

Was never really all that great unless you were a nearby teenager who thought it was sooooooooo cool to cruise the mall back in the day. Well it's no longer back in the day so I cruised the mall at lunchtime on a weekday! (wut up *gang sign*) At present, being lunchtime on a weekday, the parking lot is less than 20% full so park like a dork and take up three spaces with your nifty Honda if you want. Short walk to the front doors and there's an automatic slide door on the right as you enter the main set of doors. Service was fine. There's an Apple store for the fruity folks and trust me when I say go on a weekday at lunch time for no wait. It's true. Selection is getting thinner and thinner. Amazon is winning the war and it shows. Value...was there ever really a value coming to the mall? Delinquent youths aside, the value was partially social when this existed as an actual destination. And trust me, you can find it cheaper on Amazon...delivered to your door.

It has a dry cleaners, jewelry store, shoe repair, florist, beauty salon, nail salon, a Golden One, Beach Hut Deli, and a Starbuck's. In addition it has such specialty stores as the Good Feet, Kombat Soccer, Wellness Mart, and American Fly Fishing. The best part of Arden Town Center is its upscale restaurants. There is Café Vinoteca, Chinois East West Café, and Danielle's Creperie. I grew up within walking distance of Arden Town and have very fond memories of the stationary store, the hardware store and the variety store that use to be there. I can also remember the meat counter at the Holiday Market and the large Bee that was on the sign. I remember my father buying me breakfast at Party Time Doughnuts on our way fishing. I remember the hours spent browsing through the Arden Library looking for the perfect adventure books to read. I remember getting taps on my shoes at the shoe repair when I was in elementary school and my sister and I having new heel pads put on our boots when we were in high school. Not too long ago my girl friend and I went to Danielle's Creperie for breakfast and after eating we needed to use the rest rooms. We were walking toward the restroom when I realized I was in what use to be an outdoor passage way outside of the old Arden Library and all of those wonderful childhood memories came flooding back. I am so glad to see the old shopping center still thriving.

It is a nice shopping center. I love to go shopping or dining, if not because of their super narrow parking space! I like the choices of the stores and restaurants in this shopping center. I can check out multiple stores and have my dinner done without moving my car. However, the parking lot is a mess here. Their parking spaces are one of the narrowest in Sacramento. I don't want my car damaged. So I usually parked a little farther away, but sometimes I still found a door dent on my vehicle! One section of the driveway in front of Ross is not wide enough for two cars. Suppose you see a car coming. You must stop and wait for the other vehicle to pass that section before you can go. I can't believe the county will let this happen here for the last at least 30 years! I hope the management will cut one parking space and make the other a little wider.
