Is Arden Fair my favorite mall? No, but it is close to where I live and always gets the job done! Arden Fair is a big sized mall with plenty of parking - it obviously gets pretty busy on the weekends and especially around the holidays! When I visit, I usually stop into stores like Claire's, Foot Locker, Hot Topic, Lush, Macy's and Sephora. They also have a Miniso, Pandora, Spencer's, Coach and a brand new Pop Mart - just to name a few! Their food court is pretty decent offering Charley's Phillysteaks, Taco Bell, Panda Express and even Sbarro. They also offer different places to eat and grab drinks around the mall such as Cinnabon (my family's personal favorite), Jamba Juice, Wetzel's Pretzels and Hot Dog on a Stick. Santa and the Easter Bunny even visit for photos during their respected holidays! Overall, I'm not really sure what to say about the value, each business is differently priced obviously depending on where you go and the service is the same. I tend to only come to Arden Fair Mall when I need something specific and try my best to get in and out! read more

Feels like this place has been ghosted! Kinda like the NewPark Mall in Newark, CA. Look it up for funsies...it's been dead for a while. Was never really all that great unless you were a nearby teenager who thought it was sooooooooo cool to cruise the mall back in the day. Well it's no longer back in the day so I cruised the mall at lunchtime on a weekday! (wut up *gang sign*) At present, being lunchtime on a weekday, the parking lot is less than 20% full so park like a dork and take up three spaces with your nifty Honda if you want. Short walk to the front doors and there's an automatic slide door on the right as you enter the main set of doors. Service was fine. There's an Apple store for the fruity folks and trust me when I say go on a weekday at lunch time for no wait. It's true. Selection is getting thinner and thinner. Amazon is winning the war and it shows. Value...was there ever really a value coming to the mall? Delinquent youths aside, the value was partially social when this existed as an actual destination. And trust me, you can find it cheaper on Amazon...delivered to your door. read more

I visited yesterday and had a really disappointing experience at the carousel. The staff member working was extremely rude, especially toward my child. My daughter was simply trying to choose which animal she wanted to ride, and instead of being patient, the employee told her to "just pick one." When I helped my daughter onto the horse, she was a little scared and said so. Instead of offering reassurance in a kind way, the employee raised her voice and said, "you're fine." It was very off-putting and not how anyone--especially a child--should be spoken to. When working with kids, a little kindness and patience go a long way. This experience definitely took away from what should have been a fun moment. read more

This mall is amazing! Two story and full of awesome stores! We had a blast. It is pricey, like any mall though. The people inside are really nice, it's clean and wasn't overly crowded. They had so many stores we didn't even get a chance to see them all. We are from out of town and this mall is amazing. Would recommend stopping by and checking it out. read more

This is mall was very nice, a good size and plenty of well known and popular stores. The AC works EXCELLENT in this mall considering that the outside temperature while my family and in recently visited Sacramento was 105 degrees. Definitely a tad warm. Careful we bought a dumpling from this shop and it's full of DANGEROUS water beads, buying from a kiosk I knew it would probably be fake and my son is older so I let it pass. The kiosk is outside the food court and by the time we made it to the elevator water beads were falling everywhere! We bought it and a kneedoh style toy and we showed him immediately and he said oh you " squeezed it too hard ". So if you plan to squeeze the squishy dumplings do not buy them . read more

Arden is centrally located right off of the freeway. They always have plenty of parking. That is something I look for in a shopping center. The place is clean and free of pan handlers out front. I parked in the first row around 11:30am for my 12:05pm appointment with Apple. The mall was bustling with shoppers. I was able to easily find the Apple Store. It's next to the Pop Mart Store and across from a cell phone kiosk. I had a good experience walking around the mall passing time till my appointment time. There are several stores that perked my interest that I went into. I did not buy anything on this excursion. read more

So I had to go shopping. I was in the Arden Mall area. They have a Pop Mart here score!!! There are so many wonderful shops. If you like trainers there's a Shoe Palace, Foot Locker, Sheikh, and a Champs. There's an Aldo and a DSW. there are quite a few clothing shops. Tilly's, Macy's Express, and there's a Guess store! love Tilly's, Windsor, and Guess. Windsor has an awesome array of dresses at more than fair prices. Macy's is pretty cool too! There's and Apple Store. Sephora and MAC for the makeup Queens. The Christmas tree is up! some guy in red is there, ready to take photos. he waved at me on the escalator. I had so much fun at Arden Mall this time. The Pop Mart wasn't super crowded. There's a Zimomo that I've been eyeing. I grew up in the 90s and 00s. I am used to malls like Downtown Plaza. Arden Fair in 2026 is A Okay! I appreciate how they keep up with the times and have a digital directory for shoppers. I also noticed some security which we need now more than ever in this day and age. The vendors are up to date through the strip part of the mall. Some stores within this mall are relevant, offering something unique to shoppers and there's a few that I found to be taking up space, with no onlookers or shoppers inside. For the Sacramento area, this is a mall worth checking out. I know I do love a few stores here. For my shopping preference, I would rather go to an outlet or clearance store. I do recommend you check out Arden Fair Mall whenever you want to explore a mall. They might just have something for you! read more

This mall used to be one of my favorite places to shop but it's not the same anymore. Some of my favorite stores and restaurants either closed or moved. Also, it closes at 8PM and even earlier on Sundays 7PM. They service folks are easier to reach on phone, the store selection is great but lot of my favorite stores have moved from here. Arden Fair Mall hosts amazing events for children on Saturday mornings. This past weekend we took the kids to an early Christmas Pajama Event with holiday crafts for all ages! A Charlie Brown Christmas played on the big screen while we snacked on free Auntie Anne's pretzels, muffins, hot chocolate w/marshmallows, Pete's coffee and fruit. So many kids in their cute holiday PJs all gathered to the front to sing along with a solo guitarist. With classic holiday cheer, dancing and eating candy canes, Santa Clause finally made an appearance and we all welcomed him with an applause. The kids sat in awe as Santa read them a Christmas story. There were several Arden Mall employees that kept the event well organized and clean. We would definitely attend another Arden fair children's event, worth costs to us and incredibly fun. Value is affordable with free parking and free snacks/entertainment for the whole family. read more

The Sacramento shopping center feels relaxed and comfortable for visitors. Is well maintained and pleasant to walk through.

This was my first time at the shopping center, and I was impressed. I needed electronics, groceries, and a haircut, and managed to do it all in one visit. The parking can still get a bit crazy here, but I feel like I've visited more and more frequently. I like that they have some unique local stores as well as stores you'd typically expect from a mall. The food options are great and they have a variety of quick service and sit down options. I have a few of the spots bookmarked to try soon and have already visited a couple spots. They have the expected stores and their Apple Store is pretty reliable and not overly crowded even after releases. Arden Fair feels more like a walk-through than a must-shop these days -- and that's the challenge. Foot traffic is light, and it's easy to see why: many of the stores offer similar items, and there aren't many deals or unique finds that make it worth buying in person. In fact, several things I saw in-store I could've bought online for less -- which makes the value feel low, especially with rising costs everywhere. While the mall is clean and well-maintained, and still has some recognizable brands and food options, the overall shopping experience just isn't as engaging as it used to be. The shift to online shopping has clearly left its mark here. Bottom line: convenient if you're already nearby, but not a destination mall anymore -- especially if you're price-conscious. read more

I'm starting to like arden more now because of the 2 new shops coming to town. . H and m is finally opening up on sep 26 2024 at 11am. I'm so glad I don't have to go far for h and m now. Also the store is pretty big which I'm excited for. So there will be a good selection to look at. . Uniqlo is one store I use to go out the way to shop. Now they have it here and I'm so glad I can come here which is much closer. . We are just missing a zara here. Hopefully one day and this mall will be complete with some of my favorite shops. . I do like the macy here and sometimes it's a hit or miss. But sometimes I find great deal here. Hopefully macy doesn't close since we do have rumors rhe downtown location is going to close. . One of my new favorite coffee shop is here which is sip and Scoops which has Gunther ice cream too. If you love a good coffee or drink come check it out. . Unfortunately this mall is going down. I only visit to go to Sephora, for the most part. I miss Nordstrom, that was my favorite store. Now all they have are tennis shoe and cellphone stores. I really hope that Elk Grove considers building a mall or are malls becoming a thing of the past? read more

Parking OK clean it plenty of parking. BJ's restaurant seems to be at the star of the mall with excellent food including a pizza for 110 cal made from cauliflower crust. See my separate review. Oh man.....Arden Fair Mall.... Been here a LONG time. My wife and I used to live 1 mile down near Cal Expo when we first moved to Sac in 2000. We loved it cuz we never really had a big mall in Chico. Chico Mall is small. Lol. We used to shop, eat like weekly back in the days. Traffic was always bad. During one Xmas, my wife insisted we go shopping for Xmas gifts. Never again. Some fool stole my parking spot while I was waiting for it. I lost my shit. Won't go into details but I told her I would never drive on any busy weekend/holiday ever again. F**k that. Truth. Even on a weekday. I would come for free preview screenings and learned fast to drive near Best Buy side near Kinko's or just enter Wyda Way near the back to get to the movies in the back. Same with Sears pickup when that was a thing. Lol. The Mall is very clean. However, riff raff and a shooting by Champs happened back over 10 years ago was a concern. Too many 'hood turds using it was there hangout. Security was beefed up after that and Xmas incidents and it is now better. Food court has some mainstays but mostly just the big ones stay and the smaller eateries change over time. Shops are pretty much that same way. Some mainstays and many smaller ones changed. Only came here recently on the way to find ONIT Yelp Elite Event. read more

The restrooms downstairs at Arden Mall are in desperate need of an upgrade. They are often dirty, and the limited number of stalls leads to unnecessarily long wait times, especially during busy hours. It's frustrating to have to stand in line for so long especially with kids just to use the restroom. For a mall of this size and popularity, better maintenance and more stalls are essential. Please prioritize improving this for your customers read more
