Fire a round and the smoke cloud lingers in front of your face so that you have plenty of time to inhale it. Cleaning of the shooting stations is also suspect at they still have casings, brass shavings, and I would suspect lead residue on them first thing in the morning.

It's a big open plan range space with areas for different disciplines of shooting so the rules make sense. No open toed shoes and now low cut tops is usually pretty run of the mill range safety rules. They do sells socks and T shirts in a pinch if needed. The sporting clays area is great. It's the right distance that It can be easily walked for a bit of exercise without any overexertion. They have a rifle and pistol range which seems to be the main attraction for many. I wish they had lanes at the 3-500 yard mark but beggars cant be choosers. I believe 100 is their max. The staff at the range were professional. Safe and polite. It didn't give off any safety concerns. There were less staff members near the clay area but that doesn't make much difference. Good ear pro is a must as the covered range is loud as all but thats standard to most ranges. Overall a good experience at a good budget. Just remember to create an account online before you go. Failing that It can be done at the desk but it takes a minute or two and would take up a chunk of time for a group of 5 or 6. Save time and do it the night before.

The lot was busy, midweek, and yeah it was busy. I was kinda surprised. Grab a parking spot and go into the range office, across from the range. You can leave your gear in the car, I didn't and I banged my way into the office. Yeah my rifle case was kinda in the way walking past everyone waiting to check in. The desk woman was very pleasant, efficient, and a nice person, it seemed. We got through the paper work and payment fast. They even laminate your range card for you. FREE. Yup. Now onto the range, eyes and ears on, waut at the second gate for the range officer. He'll walk ya through everything. They inspect your weapon, make sure its unloaded. They get you in a port, then ya gotta wait for the next cold line to put up your target. As I write this I realize it may be more instruction than review. But I find initial range visits intimidating, hope this helps. Review now. Lol. The down range is a little bullet riddled, naturally. Blind shooters? Holes where there shouldnt be. The shooters port is nice, solid seat that swings out of the way, supplied sandbags, chicken wire walls that keep hot shells from hitting you. Yeah theyll burn. Theres bench and table room behind the ports, convenient. The range officers were professional, kept an eye on everyone, and ran a good ship. Listen to them. I got yelled at, well sternly communicated to, about stepping over the red line when the line was cold. My fault. No big deal. Was a nice experience, will return.

But if you need the basics they have you covered. Protip: the restaurant has a great breakfast sandwich for $7.50. Hard to finish so big. Ladies in the grill are nice and they have a TV you can watch while you eat. A good place to grab a bite before or after beer after.

Fairways and green were green and grass was well maintained. I played the green tees which were just under 5000 yds. The holes closest to the next door airport were so windy but on the other side of the course, there were enough wind blocks to make it more manageable. We played fast (which I love). All groups were moving along, even when walking. Carts did not have GPS. There was a decent amount of water and sand but it seemed fairly placed on the holes. As an added bonus, we saw a black boar run across the road on our way out. Liked this course.

My son gifted his lovely girlfriend with a cruise and they were very excited about snorkeling…read morebecause she was a first timer and it had been years since my son had done it even though his father and I are avid snorkelers. I knew they would need some guidance since we do not live nearby. I also wanted them to have good equipment so we gave them the masks and snorkels as a Christmas gift. Kendra was extremely helpful to them and assured them if they had any problems with mask leakage, they could return them. They are very excited and appreciative of the time and patience Kendra took with them. Will you pay a bit more than online? Yes you will. But you won't get the superior customer service and that is worth a few bucks to me. Support small business I say! I'm sure you will have a longtime customer with those two. Made a mama's Christmas shopping easy as well. The cruise is in March and they are all set thanks to this great family dive shop.
