STELLAR SERVICE! I…read moreonly had a day left on my trip to Florida, so I called the shop to ask if I could borrow some snorkel gear for a quick dip at Sebastian. I had a great conversation with Joe, who was at the shop fixing some gear. Joe asked great questions, and found that I am a licensed SCUBA diver. He told me about a world-class SCUBA area nearby where I could do a shore dive. Not only did he give me some great information, and stay at the shop to help me check out gear, but he offered to meet me near my hotel (about 30 minutes from the shop) for me to drop off the gear. The shop was to be closed the following day, and he wanted me to be able to go on the dive trip! The dive was incredible! I was able to explore a ship wreck, see a tiny octopus in a bottle, commune with eels and explore both a small reef area and the sea grass in search of sea horses. I can't believe I almost missed this treasure. The next day, Joe called me when he was in town, and actually came by my hotel and picked up the gear from me so we could make our flight on time. This is completely unheard of in the SCUBA world. A local business with kind folks and great service. I wish they were my local shop!

All around amazing!!…read more I don't have enough good things to say about Ultimate Dive. Ken and Laura are not only very nice people, but also very helpful and knowledgeable about diving. My husband and I were looking to go on a dive trip for our honeymoon. My heart was set on Indonesia as I didn't want to go some where "touristy" like the Caribbean, but at the time we were looking to go, there was a bomb scare in the area, which made us look for another destination. Ken suggested Matangi in Figi and I am so glad that he did. It was absolutely perfect. We were able to get the cultural non-touristy experience we were looking for as the Fijian people are so welcoming and offer a variety of activities where you can visit and spend time with them in their local villages. We also had amazing diving with a really great guide from the resort and wonderful relaxation and pampering that comes with being on your honeymoon. Ken was so easy to deal with when setting up the trip. I had a good experience with their kayak rental. They have a bunch of emotion sit on top kayaks…read more They were the cheapest daily rental I found $25 per day. They sell the new emotion kayaks for about $450. They also run a full dive shop. They sell a lot of spear fishing gear. It seems like the most common dive in the area is spear fishing. I did not dive with them, but they told me it's $45 to rent the gear and $65 for the day on the boat (or maybe the other way around). Only this is they DO NOT RENT MASKS OR FINS, so you will have to organize them from somewhere else, or buy them at the shop. The place is run by acouple off the beaten track type dudes. They seemed very nice and everything seemed a little negotiable. I would definitely go back and rent from them again. I left with a good vibe.
