They did not tell me pricing and since I did not ask I can't complain how expensive it was. They do not accept Aetna so I had to pay full amount.$$$$ Two days later I receive 2 coupons from them offering a free consultation and X-ray valued up to $245. I just paid double that amount. I was evaluated by a therapist who understood my needs, and with that knowledge carved out a program for me. I basically work with two therapists, on a twice a week basis. They are not only great at their jobs, but cheerful, always smiling, and are just nice people. The facility is loaded with equipment to handle I would think everybody's needs. Surgeons and PTs should be advising that, but many surgeons don't know as much about PT as they should and business models discourage some PTs from referring potential patients elsewhere. Despite issues with overbooking (perhaps more of an issue in-season) and poor transition when a therapist goes on leave, I think PTI is probably a good place for lower extremities rehab, but you'll probably be better served elsewhere if you have elbow, wrist, or hand injuries.

I waited three weeks and when I arrived, she told me I don't have the prescription you should go home. I was baffled. I asked why she couldn't call the doctor and get it faxed and she said we don't do that. I called my own doctor and asked them to fax it after an hour. I walked out. The receptionist chased me out to the parking lot and asked me if I wanted to reschedule? I said why would I reschedule when I can't get into my original appointment. Two weeks went by and I had a friend of mine called and they said they received the prescription, but nobody advised me about it. I tried to make an appointment and she said I didn't get my discharge papers from my former Physical Therapist. She never mentioned that when I was waiting for an hour the first time I went. Two weeks later she finally gets. The discharge letter tells me to come the day after Christmas at 9 AM. I go at 8:45 and I was told it was closed because it's the day after Christmas. I was infuriated so I went back later that day to get all my paperwork so I could go somewhere else. She had the nerve to tell me that I missed my appointment at 10 that day. I don't know what is wrong with her or why they have somebody so stupid working the front desk, but I will never recommend or advise anybody to go to that facility. Because of this girl, I am six weeks without any physical therapy for a broken femur. If this is the way she treats people on a walker she shouldn't be working in that physical therapy field because she has no compassion whatsoever.
