We had the no sugar added ice cream the other day, it was really bad. We tried vanilla, chocolate and coffee flavors. Ice cream was gritty, had ice crystals in it and parts of it was like chewing gum! This stuff has a shelf life! Don't you ever test your ice cream to see if it's fresh? read more

For our first visit to PB Ice Cream, we were terribly disappointed. We asked if they had "coffee" ice cream and she did point out 2 different coffee ice cream choices, however, as we stood there trying to decide, no samples were offered. Poor customer service; poor attitude. I called ahead and they told me they had curbside and that they would put it in my trunk. They said I could leave the cash in the truck, so touchless. We called ahead and then called upon arrival as instructed. I called to tell them I arrived and was put on hold. I was parked outside and watched as they waited on no less than 10 customers with the phone off the hook. It was approximately 25 minutes. But that is not the bad part. I observed in horror as there were no precautions at all being taken for Covid - 19. No masks, employees or customers, no social distancing, no hand washing at all. I'm giving it one star as I'm not sure you can give zero. My husband and I walked in tonight(Friday) at 9:55. There was a father and son being served and a woman in front of us in line. When the young girl finished serving the father/son, she turned to us and said, sorry, we are closed. I thought she was kidding. I asked why the door was unlocked and why didn't she say something to us when we walked in? I have no idea how long the lady in front of us had been waiting. The girls response was, sorry we have a lot of cleaning to do. We walked out as did the woman who was waiting before us. When we walked out to the car, the man (with his son) asked. Great ice cream!!! More importantly, great staff. Emily was the only person working, they were about 15 minutes away from the close and she had a line to the door, at least 4 families on line... She handled it well, she wasn't grumbling or bitching as many hourly employee would do so close to the close. She did a great job and should get a pat on the back. At one point, I told her in jest that I would jump back there and help her (I was only 1/2 kidding!!!). Again, Emily did a great job. I have over 100 hourly employees working in my fast casual restaurants... If they were so far from this location, I would have surely poached Emily to come and work for me. Why 4 stars and not 5? I am a diabetic. While I really enjoyed your Sugar Free coffee ice cream, I would like to see more diabetic friendly toppings on your menu. I get it if you don't do it. For some reason, were in a gluten free world and everyone ignores the sugar free people. Even though more than 10% of our population has diabetes. Overall, great experience. The "Watermelon Sorbet" is TOO-DIE-FOR. Been getting it for years. I remember getting my wisdom teeth taken out and getting multiple pints of the stuff. AMAZING. I still haven't found any kind of watermelon type sorbet, sherbet, gelato, or even plain old ice cream that equates. read more

I asked for a vanilla milk shake. I was then told that the vanilla was too hard to use. An ice cream shop that does not have the most common ice cream in the world available? But, OK, so she used the soft serve vanilla to make the milk shake. It was DISGUSTING. It tasted horrible. We then tried a scoop of double chocolate ice cream in a cup. I don't know what was worse, this, or the milk shake. I was so sick from the few bites I ate that when I got home I had to RUN to the bathroom. A complete waste of ten dollars. Rip off ALERT! I ordered a child's size soft ice cream and they tried to charge me for an adult size cone. Their rational was simply, that I was an adult. Since when are adults charged based on their age? If I order 12 Oz's of steak I pay for 12 Oz's whether I'm 14 or 40! The kids running the place told me the boss makes the rules. Ok, we have been buying ice cream here for a few yrs now and taste, cleanliness and friendly service has kept us coming back, however last week I visited their Jupiter location and the parking lot and the store was empty. I entered the store and was greeted with a frown from the employee. I then ordered a lg container of cookies and cream ice cream to go and was told that he just took it out of the freezer and proceeded to stab the top of the open container with the scooper and said it was too frozen to take out and just looked at me....no I am sorry, no can I give you a different flavor?, no can I give you the same flavor in frozen yogurt? Nothing....he just stood their with that annoyed look on his face. I walked out confused. I am not a dessert chef but I believe ice cream is suppose to be frozen. Even if he was correct (I doubt it!) about it being too frozen he could of handled it much better. For the prices they charge they need to hire/train/supervise their employees. They may have lost me as a customer now the parking lot and store will be even quieter. read more
