There's a great variety of styles, plenty to walk around and see, and the atmosphere is lively and family-friendly. My biggest tip: come early to beat both the crowds and the heat so you can really take your time enjoying the artwork. It makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Definitely worth checking out if you love art, community events, or just want something different to do.

There are many tents, but not too many which makes it easy for you to spend a few minutes at each perusing and chatting with the each vendor getting to know their expertise. One of my favorite stops each year is the Sunshiners tent where you can find handmade outdoor objects that project glass sparkles all over your yard (or house if you place it indoors). They are made from glass and copper! I also love that they have a few food vendors so you can eat while you shop! Kettle corn, arepas, beignets and freshly squeezed lemonade to name a few. It's also right near the beach and a park with pavilions so if you come with kids, either is a great segway from this event. I will be back each year this wonderful event takes place!

It's only about a 12 minute walk really from any of the lots. We packed up. 4 chairs that we could put on our backs like backpacks and walk to Sunset. You get a wristband to enter and that was easy along with the scan of the tickets. There are 3 stages and the area is easy to walk thru. We were glad we had our chairs as no one wants to sit on the ground. I wish there were some healthy options at SunFest to munch on so I waited until I got home to eat. The weather was beautiful and I was thinking how I wish there were fireworks again! Have to think if I'd return - very on the fence about it.

It is the perfect place to bring a family of all ages or friends looking to start their Halloween season of dress up and adult beverages. The CRA of Boynton Beach makes this event bigger and better every year. The weather was very hot and there needed to be more cool off areas. The food area was well set up but I thought the vendors didn't have enough variety on their menu but what they were serving was delicious or looked delicious. I can't wait until they Piratefest comes back next year.

The Art Palm Beach Annual Exhibition is a prestigious modern and contemporary art show launched in…read more1997 by IFAE/ Next Level founders David and Lee Am Lester. The Lester's also founded Art Miami, Art Asia Hong Kong, American International Fine Art Fair and Art Boca Raton. The show was acquired by the Palm Beach Show Group in 2022 who also puts on the LA Art Show. Art Palm Beach is the largest and longest mid winter art fair in the Palm Beaches. This art show is dedicated to exhibiting the contemporary, emerging and modern masterworks of 20th and 21st century art. Seventy-six national and International galleries showcased their work for sale. There were also several art museums presenting at the show including the Boca Raton Museum of Art, MOCCA (Museum of Contemporary Art of the Americas), and the Danubiana Museum of Art in Bratislava, Slovakia. Art mediums included photography, painting, design, fine art glass, metal, gems, sculpture, and video. Displayed in front of the convention center was Ominka by artist Viktor Freso. The large, inflated bear was covered in blue brooch's inspired by a sentimental costume brooch purchased by artist Viktor Freso's grandmother in 1964 in the United States when she was pursuing a singing career and then taken back to Slovakia. Another stand out art piece was Project Eternal Light from the Reflectspace Gallery displayed in its own area as soon as you walked in to the event. Artist Han Ho's nine lighted panels depicts an apocalyptic end of the world for humanity and was inspired by Michelangelo's Last Supper. A featured exhibition was Big Birk, a 19 foot high, 16 foot long Birkin Bag. It is billed as the world's largest Hermes, Birkin Bag. One of my favorite pieces was the interactive Breakfast by Sydney Warming Sea. Software, a camera, and a computer flips foil on discs into your image when you stand in front of it. There was so much other eye catching art. I especially enjoyed anything featuring animals, light, or kinetic movement. Tickets to this show were $35 but if you follow the galleries on Instagram before the show, some of them give out free tickets. If you pay extra for the VIP tickets there was a private lounge in the center of the convention floor. There was also a Friday night gala for an additional price. During the show there was food and drinks for sale. Parking was offered in the convention center garage for $5 for two hours. Allow a few hours to see everything. There was ample seating on the convention floor in between galleries. This was my first time attending this event and I loved everything about it.

This is supposed to be one of the most prestigious winter art fairs of its kind. The 2020 one is…read morethe 23rd one they've held. And I'd never heard of it! We were lucky enough to be invited as guests of our friends who it seems have gone for years. We met them at the convention center (there's easy parking in the attached garage or you can valet park). Some 85 international galleries had exhibits of all mediums of art. It was like going to a very upscale museum. There was no set traffic pattern here. You could wander in and out of the exhibits as you wished. You could spend as much time as you wanted admiring what you liked. Many items had prices on them. Some were priced "on request". In the middle of the exhibit was a coffee shop/snack bar where you could sit and rest and have a bite. I especially liked some of the kinetic sculptures, the Chihuly glass, and the big "moon" installation. Our friends were drawn to some of the paintings. Such creativity using various methods and mediums -- like an eagle that was made of buttons strung on filament. Or the heart shaped sculpture made out of paint and paint brushes. A number of palm beachers were here to see and be seen. Their outfits were equally as attractive and interesting as the artwork. If you like art, even if you're not in the high rollers league to be a buyer, come here at least to browse. It's a great show!

I invited my bestie and set off to this adventure, we took the Tri-Rail north to West Palm Beach and we were ready to have a good time! Upon check in we received two drink tickets and four taster tickets each (was plenty). The event was a the Meyers Amphitheatre which has a stage for performance and a big field. We noticed it was quite empty for this big space. We walked around and checked out the vendors and had some bites before we consumed the drinks. I must say the food vendors were delicious here is my list of food vendors I tried: Nancy's Cajun Cooking: Jambalaya $8 - We had one of the best Jambalaya's I've ever had. There was hot sauce to add but it didn't need any. Had plenty of chunks of seafood, meat & chicken. Aioli: Candied Bacon $3 x 2 slices - It was instant gratification on the first bite. My face said it all and the girl behind the counter said "I told you it was good". Indeed it was! Sxs: had fresh oysters. I didn't buy anything here but Alex made me try an oyster that tasted like it had just been plucked out the sea. So fresh, so good. I will make it a point to go visit their restaurant. Mad Hops: a vendor that sales drops to add to bad beer. Yes you read correctly... they have flavored drops to add for example a Miller lite. They have many flavors including cherry, blueberry, hops etc. Great idea but I rather never ever buy bad beer. There was a beer tent where you can sample different beers, most I knew (Funky Budha), some I haven't tried before (Five & 20). They were poured into 4 oz tasting cups. What I did not like is that the bartenders did not know what they were pouring, they knew nothing about the products. I saw many festival goers ask about the types of beers and recommendations and heard the girls say they didn't know anything about the beers, they were just serving them. In my opinion I think this is crucial to have bartenders know what they are serving, it is a beer festival and you should know a little bit about it. There was also another tent serving drinks in a plastic mason jar for $14 and refills were $12. Those drinks were good and strong. The bands that were playing were mostly Alternative Rock, I felt bad because the crowd just wasn't there. No one was jamming by the stage everyone was mostly walking around, eating and drinking. Also they were playing radio commercials in between bands, that was quite annoying. The highlights were meeting fellow Elite Raymond K. and his wife. They were awesome. Raymond hooked it up with some grub from the VIP tent sponsored by 3 Forks. I have to say their food was amazing. I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Filet Mignon with Bearneise sauce on the side, oh so delicious! There was also a tattoo competition that was pretty funny to see. Proceeds of this event went to Friends of Foster Children, that was sweet. Overall, I had a great time but I think this festival needs some work. Entry should include a drink or a taster. I think it was a little expensive considering the beers were mostly known beers and not that exclusive for it to be a Craft Beer festival. I think with less expensive tickets or a better package there will be more attendees. Also having the bartenders learn more about the beer that they are serving is a plus. It takes place at the Meyer Amphitheater in downtown West Palm Beach. We were able to sample at least over a hundred local craft spirits and beers offered by several venues and there were quite a few food vendors to get bites from when you got hungry. When I went on opening night, I was surprised to see that it wasn't busy. On the other hand, it was nice not having to wait in line to get drinks or food. There was a variety of spirits and cocktails that were generously poured by each bartender. The food options weren't too shabby either. The three cheese grilled cheese and candied bacon from Aioli is a must if you go there. Plus, there was a local band playing music for all to enjoy while sipping and eating. The weather was perfect. It wasn't too chilly or too warm for the festival. It was nice having to be outside without having to wear a sweater to warm up on. The food and beverages were plentiful and good. The staff was upbeat and happy to serve whatever we wanted. Thank you Yelp West Palm for the awesome opportunity and all of the tickets that came with it. Cheers!

We stopped by after dinner with another couple on Clematis. They came up to west palm specially to…read moresee Sandi, the tree. The tall Christmas tree made out of sculptured sand is surrounded by a fence. They warn folks not to lean or sit on the fence. At night from 6 pm to 10 pm, they have music every 15 minutes. The songs vary. The music and different colored lights "dance" alongside the music. The colors change the look of the tree and the surrounding areas. A water fountain with jets also goes up and down in time with the music and lights. By the side is a Ferris wheel. It charges $5 per ride in a locked cage with seats. Our friends took a ride which was about 7 rotations. They had great views of the city and even out to the beach and the breakers. Across the street by the boats and water are a few small sand sculptures, too. Another cool thing is to get some of the official 3D glasses. It makes the colors of the star on top of Sandi appear to multiply and the lawn area in front of the tree looks like it is filled with outlines of Christmas trees. Families with kids were especially enjoying playing in the area, running through the fountain, and posting fun photos as gingerbread men.

A beautiful night and lots of people enjoying the sights, lights and music orchestration. Lots of young children dancing and frolicking in the projected light on lawn areas, some joined by their parents. The sculpture and lights are free and they even have a ferris wheel ($5 per person). A fun evening, both young and old.

I've been to garlic festivals in Gilroy CA, Saugerties NY, and Bennington VT many times. They…read moreusually have dozens of farmers with a wide variety of different garlic breeds, as well as a many vendors of sausages (italian, venison, beef), cheeses from dairy farms, shallots, peppers, pesto, on and on and on. That's not even talking about the foods that are available for dining on site. This festival had one garlic farmer with fresh garlic, one with farm made garlic powder/granules/chips and black garlic, and 'Garlic Festival Foods' factory made jarred marinated garlic. The parking was a nightmare. The premium parking was full and there was no one to help guide people to parking. There were warnings that if you park in the wrong lot you'll be towed, but no clear signage where one lot ends and the danger zone begins. We kept circling and circling, and were about to leave despite prepaying for tickets, until after about 20 minutes we eventually found someone to follow back to their car and get their space when they left. The vendors were all frustrated because the wifi and cellular connections were so bad that they couldn't do card processing and they couldn't find anyone in charge to talk to about it. Many of the vendors we talked to said they won't be coming back (especially the two that were actually selling garlic). The food wasn't very garlicky. Just standard fair with extra garlic powder. This was a nice community fair, and hopefully it will grow into a real garlic festival some day, but it was poorly run, and very disappointing.

Temperature was taken before getting inside. The first thing you smell as you enter. Is the smell of food. It smells so good. The food vendors are right at the entrance. I tried the garlic ginger candid bacon. That was good, more like awesome. A must try in my opinion. Food prices are a little high. So many food options. So little time lol. They had a live band playing. I do really like the music they are playing. It was a mixture of different genres. They had the place in front of the band marked. It looked like a checker board, for social distancing. A great idea. I tried the garlic gelato. It tasted to me like vanilla ice cream with a little hint of vanilla. It was good. I had a good time. I came early so it wasn't very crowded. But it got crowded later on. They had many different venders and artist. The sculptures and art work where beautiful. I specially like the carvings. So many talented artist.

I was happy to know they offer free parking for the market by the Subculture coffee! All the vendors were very kind and more than willing to explain their products and some even gave free samples to try out! I will say toward beginning of April is when there isn't crowds at all so definitely the best time to visit and walk around without feeling like you're running into people. This market is a staple in west Palm for a reason and offers the greatest products while allowing yourself to get some steps out in the Florida sun!

I did hear, however, that this was the last one of the current season. I've never been before, so it was nice to have a chance to stroll down the middle of the street between the displays and to see all their wares. The market stretched for quite a few blocks down Clematis Street which was closed to car traffic. There were a lot of people selling clothing and jewelry. A couple folks had collectibles/antiques. I'm not sure why it's still called a "green" market as we didn't see much edibles/food nor produce. The street was quite busy. I'm not sure how much selling the vendors were doing, however. I thought prices of many of the items were quite high. Then again the folks slumming from the "island" (palm beach) wouldn't mind a bit. Although we didn't buy anything, we always enjoy browsing.
