Smaller location than some- probably a converted LA Tan, and that shows through on the inside, since it is not quite as fancy as most Palm Beach Tans. Friendly service (and no upsell, which I appreciated.) Same issue with Palm Beach in general: too expensive, especially for someone like me who goes rarely and for short times. If you go often and tan for longer periods, their deals are okay, but there is just no plan that works for me. Nice new machines. Clean. Some of the former staff here have been exceptional. Currently, everyone here is completely flakey. Signing me in takes five minutes or more. Things are dirty while the staff is standing around. They attempt to charge me for things included in my spray tan package all the time. They greet you not by saying hello, but by saying "what's the last name". The correct response is, "Hello, what is YOUR last name". A bit of semantics and computer training would go a long way. While other places have had the same staff for longer periods of time, this location seems to have a lot of turnover. Froze my membership. Not sure if I can justify the expense anymore. I read more

I typically love Palm Beach Tan but this specific location has really rude employees and isn't as nice inside as other locations. Save yourself time and stress and go to the Grandview location. read more

I was another victim of the LA Tan issue. I just bought my $90 package, used one tan then in the middle of the night my acct was transferred to Palm Beach Tan. I found out via email that my account transferred AFTER the fact. Thank goodness the email did not go into my junk folder. Anyways, so I went into Palm Beach and was understandably upset over this ordeal. In order to use the package I bought at LA Tan I had to purchase an additional amount of package to continue to tan at all. So round trip I paid $160 btwn the two companies. After my tanning package is over, I am not coming back. I can't afford this. Brittany stated the package comparable to what I have currently would cost $250. That doesn't make it better at all. I will say the staff are very nice and helpful with questions, very clean facility and I love the tanning bed I use but again, I can't afford to continue after this package is through. read more

I have been to 3 Palm Beach locations and Polaris by far has the best staff and facility. It is very clean and I love the area in the back where you can freshen up before or after your tan. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. Can't say the same about the 2 other locations that I have been to. They also have no contracts that you would have to sign up for to get a lower rate, which I love. read more

Exceptional customer service! I recently went in to Palm beach due to a large balance on my account, that was preventing me to tan. Long story short, Brittney (the manager) called me and explained multiple ways she could help resolve the issue. She took the time out of her day to contact me to make sure we found a resolution. I recently had to order a new debit card. Before I was able to come into the store and update my new expiration date on my CC, my account was hit with a $10 fee. I did not want to pay this, but ended up paying my account balance and the fee. After this was paid I was told my account was on hold and only corporate would be able to take it off of hold. I was told I would not be able to tan that day. I was not happy with the person at the counter charging my account and not letting me tan. I'm not sure what happened, but my account was no longer on hold a couple minutes later and I was able to tan. That issue was resolved. I came to find out that the girl ended up not charging my account at all and ended up putting a note on my account for the manager to wave the balance. Please note, that I did not ask for anything free. I told her I had no issue paying for the month that I tanned, I just did not want to have to pay a $10 fine for something ridiculous. I've been tanning here awhile and was not abusing the system by trying not to pay. From that incident I believe I tanned three times more. The fourth time I came in your rude store manager checked me in. She was extremely rude and pushy to me, so I gave her back what she was giving. She was really pushy with trying to sell me on lotion. She asked what I was using and I told her I did not want to show her because she would just try and sell me lotion that I was not interested in buying. I ended up pulling out the bottle of lotion from my pocket and she immediately told me I need to buy lotion. I was walking away to go tan and she demanded I leave my bottle on the counter and that I'm not going to use the lotion I brought. I ended up tanning and left without her saying anything else. The next time I came in, I was told by one of the girls that the manager says I have to pay my balance. My name and account number was written down on a post-it-note. The only reason she is making me pay this now, is because I did not buy lotion from her and she felt disrespected. This is not how business is done. If she would have told me that day, before I said no to buying lotion, that I had to pay my balance, there would be no issue. The fact that she let her emotions come into play, and she's going to charge me now because of that, is wrong of her to do and is not how thing are done. It's childish on her part and is shocking that she represents your store. That is not a friendly face to come walking into. A nasty person like that needs to not be in contact with the public. I hear that she treats a lot of your customers like that. Another customer in the store mentioned that to me. This shouldn't be news to you at all. Either have that miserable person adjust her attitude, or get somebody else to represent that store. There are two options. You drop my balance on my account and I continue to pay my monthly fee which I've been doing for years. Or I cancel my membership, and once you try and collect those funds, I dispute the charge with my bank since I was already told I did not have to pay. Find the customer service horrible on multiple levels. Have been told twice that all they needed to do was clean the bed for me to tan, then someone else was given the bed. All they said was sorry, looked back down and helped the next poor soul in line. This location took over LA TAN and promised that memberships would be valid and were transferred to them (nice to be asked if you would want your information given to another company). Turns out there were up charges to keep what was paid to LA TAN. Policies are different but one would not know since no paperwork was given. read more
