WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! My friend and I went in to get spray tans there were two workers... the younger lady was super nice and helpful but the older lady was god awfully rude. She sent me into a room and never activated my versa spa machine, I had my friend who was done spraying go and talk to her and she asked if i've ever spray tanned before(i have gotten at least 20 from a different location) then she told me to move rooms. I moved to room 6 and waited 30 minutes for her to start it because she was busy talking to another customer finally she got back to my friend who was waiting to tell her it was never activated (i wasn't going to get dressed and come out when i had someone in the lobby who could talk to her) and she told her i did something wrong then once she tried to start it realized it was her fault because the machine didn't have everything i payed for and it needed to be refilled. I was so frustrated i had her start it without the extras I paid for, while tanning she was talking very loud about me to another customer saying how I was in the wrong and all the ignorant things about me. To say the least I was very unhappy and once i finished spraying got dressed and left my room. When leaving my friend and I said goodbye and thank you (being polite when i was very unhappy already) and she ignored us and gave a grunt. I would not recommend going here unless you want to deal with ignorant rude workers who find it fun to talk about customers to other customers while using something I payed for. read more

I just moved from the Dallas area, where PBT's corporate offices are located. I used their Dallas local line of tan stores, Planet Tan, and have always been happy with the service and products. The Lexington store is very clean and large. They have a variety of beds at different levels. They just have one spray bed, from what I could tell. Most of the staff was friendly. One girl had an attitude she was discriminating and harassed me but let her friends walk right in. Ruined the whole experience. Palm Beach tan should have some kind of sensitivity training for their staff. I emailed Palm Beach Tanning. Apparently they don't even care to follow up on the matter. read more

Do NOT give them your credit card information, no matter what they say. My husband thought I might want to do this, so he gave them my card number to reserve a price and was told it would be a monthly membership only if I came in to sign paperwork for the actual membership. After seeing charges on my credit card, I found their location and went in. They tried showing me membership papers that they put my name on, but they weren't even signed so it was irrelevant. They are making me feel like a liar, but they confirmed their system also says I never used any services they claim I signed up for. Diane, a district manager who explained she was the top person in charge and had zero supervisors agreed to refund 38$ and could give me store credit for the rest, but I was charged over 90$ total over 2 months and have no interest in tanning or their lotion. I never signed up for anything or bought anything, I didn't even know where the business was located. Beware! This business is very sketchy. I would not give them your card for any reason. They are not BBB accredited either, that should tell you something. read more
