You pay a nominal fee of approximately $7.50 per month and whenever you decide to start tanning again, they will keep your monthly rate the same even if they have raised their membership fees. I came back and started tanning again on Feb 1st (2023). I let them know on that date that in speaking with my bank, I had some fraud on my account. I explained this to the front desk and gave them my updated bank card. I then noticed on Sunday, March 5th, that my debit for March hadn't been taken yet. I went by this evening (6th) to inquire about my March payment, wondering if they had just gotten a little behind. The latest they have ever taken it was the 4th. I was then informed that my debit for March had not gone through and my monthly membership is $117.85 but now they have added an additional $10.00 fee. I asked where did they "attempt" to debit me and she gave me the last 4 digits of my old card - the one that I canceled on 2/1 and I already gave Palm Beach my updated card - which I just explained to her. She then stated "I don't know why this keeps happening". So I asked her if this has happened with others and she looked up at me and said "no". But it was inferred that this has happened with others. In any case, now it's 7:59 pm and I asked may I please tan since they are closing in 30 minutes and that I will straighten this out first thing in the morning. She said "no, you are not allowed to tan when you have a balance and you now have a late fee". So, this is pretty much the straw that broke the camels back, for me anyway. I tan because it helps with my depression and it just makes me happy. But there have been no happy dances from me of late. I just wanted to stop in, tan in a 12 minute bed, relax and shut out the world. Instead, my anxiety went thru the roof and I was kind of made to feel like I'm a criminal or something. No management was on duty to assist with this. Not good...............

I have been using my Diamond level bed for over a year now since I upgraded my membership...little did I know I had been using it wrong this whole time! He literally knows that bed inside and out! I was overwhelmed with information but I couldn't stop listening because it all just made so much sense. I now know so much more about my bed and my skincare thanks to him. I also have to add that he is just an absolute sweetheart that actually takes the time to listen and explain things to you! I signed up for the GOLD plan, on Feb.28, 2022. Started tanning on 01 March. Used the stand-up…read morebooth. Toward the end of the month, my tan was very uneven - shoulders were spotty, and NOTHING below my knees. Switched to lie-down bed, specifically asking for the one with the newest bulbs each time, but was sent to a different bed each time. Then, when I received my credit card statement, the first automatic payment for membership was billed at $60.45, rather than the $39.95 I was told when I signed up!!!! When I called to have this corrected, no manager was present, and I was told to expect a call-back. When the "manager" called, all she would do was repeat "The billing is correct. You were charged $49.95 for GOLD membership (not the $39.95 I was told when I signed up) and for the last day of February (on which I paid for the month of March, and the "start-up" fee, IN CASH!) Then, she said that the start-up fee was for their "Rewards Program", which was never explained to me at sign-up, which I did not request, and which I was never told was mandatory, and still haven't!!! To sum up - 1. Quoting one price, but billing higher. 2. Equipment which does not work well. 3. Uninformed or unhelpful employees. (Not all of them. Some are very good.) 4. "Management" who don't seem to care about the first three issues at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PALM BEACHTAN IN FOLEY, ALABAMA!!! IN FACT, I SUGGEST THAT YOU STAY FAR AWAY!!!
