The salon itself is immaculate. The tanning beds are fantastic. Going to enjoy some UV during the cold winter is so relaxing. Having a tan this time of year makes me feel better, not just the way it looks, but it feels good. At this location the girls, staff are genuinely complete sweethearts. Sometimes they are very busy but they're always so attentive and will answer anything honestly. After reading some of the reviews, I can only assume some people are just miserable and it's not right that they took their bad day and had nothing better to do but write negative things. Nice private parking lot. It took a while to get "checked-in" as there was only one girl working and she said the system had crashed (it was around 8pm on a Monday night). I got a spray tan in the VersaSpa and it was way overpriced- like $65 for a one-time tan. Probably won't return due to the high cost. It was clean, except the towel that you stand on when you exit the booth was wet, like from another customer before me (ew). read more

Buyer Beware: Facility itself is very nice. Beds are quality. I buy paid in full packages all the time and the last time I bought 5 premium sessions for over $100 they reluctantly did not tell me they would expire in 45 days. I use 1-2 sessions a month or save them for pre-vacations. Went in today with 4 out of the 5 unused and was told "no we can't un-expire them unless you buy more" which I will never be able to use because they will expire again. This is a rip off and just a way to keep milking you for money. I will be going to a competitor moving forward that is willing to work with the customer. I recommend you do also. I love this place. I'm relatively new to having a tanning membership (in the past I'd usually just buy Groupons for a month's discounter tanning or 2 for 1 spray tans, etc) and I have to say my experience at Palm Beach Tan has been great. I signed up for the Platinum membership to get a base tan for my upcoming vacation, and had the intention of cancelling after a month. However, it's been well over a month and I'm still tanning. The salon is truly spotless, the women who work their are knowledgeable and very sweet and their lotion selection is very good. Another thing I like is that this company is a supporter of responsible tanning - you can only tan once per 24 hours, and they firmly recommend appropriate amounts of time in the bed based on your skin tone and experience. Love that. For anyone looking for a great place to get a winter glow I'd highly recommend this Palm Beach Tan location. read more

Clean and friendly place to tan. Upon entering you are greeted by a friendly front desk person who asks if you have a membership (which all of the tanned people walking into PBT seemed to have) or if it's your first time visiting PBT. I guess she could tell by the color of my skin it was my first time. Everything is explained to you as you walk into the tanning booth room and once the attendant leaves all you need to do is undress and step inside. Their are complimentary items such as individual lip balm packets and moisturizer left inside a basket for you to take. Once your tan is completed and you step outside of the booth you can hear the actual sanitizing inside the booth take place. Hours later you will have a very natural looking tan. I can see why PBT offers memberships and why they have a loyal clientele. Their tans are awesome and who wouldn't want to look healthy and tanned during the summer months. read more

Has become the worst place ever. Don't go here. I have been coming to Palm Beach Tan for years and have never had anything bad to say about them at all. This past season my entire experience has been horrible. Before I lay it out I want to make a note on the fact that the only good review this place has received on yelp is from 2013. Don't be fooled into thinking its the same store that it was then. Shortly after the new 2015 year started, the location shifted from franchise to corporate and the quality went to shit. They got rid of the good staff members that I would see there for years and replaced them with a staff that is straight up just trying to sell the most expensive things by lying. I got screwed on lotion. I've been using a lotion that I've found is the best for my skin. I asked to buy it and they said they no longer sold that kind. The girl told me that they replaced it with a new one. The "new one" was 30 bucks more of course and she insisted it was the same thing just packaged differently. It was NOT the same thing. I checked the samples stand they have and found a sample of what I used and she told me it would be a waste cause the sample is '20 bucks' and they only sold them in samples anymore so I should just go with the $60 lotion. I decide to trust her and paid the price. The lotion did nothing but make my skin red. That's it. I figured maybe i just needed a few days to get used to the lights. NOPE. The lotion only ever made my skin bright red followed by not tan. I go back in a week later and find the lotion that I was originally looking for FULLY stocked. They most certainly do still make it and did not replace it with a new label and increase the price by 30 bucks. I complain about it and I'm told I can't return the old lotion. I buy the old lotion and in 3 days show a significant improvement in my tan. I just wasted weeks of this overpriced membership not getting any results because of the lie based sales tactics that they have their staff practice. I find out online later that I could actually return it, but when I go back in they refuse again. They tell me they'll have someone call me. Of course they were lying. So I wasted 3/4 of a month trying to tan in this place because I was lied to and given the wrong lotion, and I can't even get a refund on that lotion at all. If anything I should get a refund on the month AND the lotion because I couldn't get any use out of the month due to the straight up lies that I was told by the staff. read more

Very clean and tidy, had a nice tanning experience. Was extremely upset with the service and contract. Was not provided or emailed to me at point of sale. Went to cancel and my signature was used to place my account "on freeze" instead, without my knowledge or consent. My daughter and I have been members for over a year and we love the girls and Nick that work there. Everyone is so polite and welcoming and have fantastic advice to give when there ever is a question that needs to be answer. Nick is one of the best specialist they have. Every time my daughter or I need a new product or a question about sprays and such he is always on top of it. Also Nicole, Nikki and the rest of the gang are great as well. It's clean I will say that! You can't go everyday as there is a 24 hr wait in between tanning. There always seems that a bed that's available was just furnished with new lights and you cannot stay in there the usual amount of time . You are told that they have to take minutes off no matter how tan you are. It costs a lot of $$$ for a tan that's only available monthly. read more

have been going here for over five years and have never had a problem here. Probably because ive never had to return anything. Love the majority of the staff. They always make me smile...til today. I purchased a spray tan can & then realized I had one at home. After my tanning session I apologized and told the girl (manager apparently...) that I needed to return as I didnt need it. She then proceeded to tell me that it would take 7-10 business days to see the refund on my debit card. I work in retail and never have heard of a refund/void/return taking 7-10 days. I void transactions and/or refund/credit and never do these transactions take over a week. Very disappointed. Will be cancelling my account come March unless this is resolved within 24 hours. read more

Honestly was so scared of tanning before I started tanning with palm beach, I was scared of turning orange and the long term effect it would have on my skin. Every time I go in everyone seems stressed or I feel semi rushed. Yesterday morning I went in to tan and I was helped by a girl I've never seen before (Lexi) and I couldn't have more satisfied. She helped me pick out the best lotion for my skin type (and pocket) she was extremely knowledgeable about mixing both spray tans and bed tanning (something I didn't even know was possible). I've been going here for about a year now since I've moved to the area. The place is always clean, and staff always friendly and welcoming. I work in the service industry, so I'm a little more inclined to recognize actual customer service as opposed to just going through the motions. I met Cami about 2 months ago. Since then, it's taken her a mere 3 visits to remember my name and face and have me set up when I walk in.
