I've been working with Dr. Sam for the last few months after a slipped disc and subsequent sciatica. I have to say I feel better than I have in years. My mood and energy have increased. I now have zero lower back pain which was unbearable before starting chiropractic. I do have some occasional discomfort at my left hip and buttocks area but it's tolerable. I also have more flexibility in my neck and right arm, which is probably from sitting in front of a computer all day. I have only been twice but [[HIGHLIGHT]]I found Dr. Sam to be very proficient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He does not up sell the hocus pocus stuff that other chiro's try to sell. Dr Sam Vella is very good. He listens to you and is very honest with what should be done. He tends to encourage holistic methods when he feels they can be helpful, I'm all about that when possible. I really appreciate that he has a good staff and they are quick to get you in when needed. I almost always get the appointment I want. He also offers a decompression chair that is very relaxing and, I feel helpful. These chair sessions are an extra out of pocket though. Dr.Matt is the best! I've had problems with my neck and mid back for years and now they're gone. Front office staff is super nice, attentive, and understanding whenever I call with a new pain or I've gotten hurt. The office is impeccable and i always look forward for the massage tables. They offer great bundle deals, which my husband I take advantage of, we come once a week. My husband trains in jiu jitsu and works in maintenance. I mountain bike and work as a cook and our bodies thanks us for the regular adjustments. Also Dr. Sam is excellent too! They're never to rough and they know what they're doing! I was suffering from vertigo and our friend recommended that I see Dr Vela because he was also suffering from vertigo. I have just received my billing. It is a scam . They billed my medical coverage $615.00. I was at the office approx 45 minutes. Dr Vella made minor adjustments to my back and wanted me to set up another appointment. I didn't feel confident so I setup and appointment with another Chiropractor (Scott Chiropractic ) in Palm Desert. He did not take my insurance so I needed to pay upfront. The best of the best chiropractic place in town hands down. I have been in 2 side swipe car accidents and have minor flair ups from other injuries.
