We essentially did all the work to facilitate our closing and he collected a big check for doing hardly absolutely nothing (he got 16k to be exact). He did not help us with the following: 1. Help us find the home or any other homes. We already had the home selected and he couldn't get us any additional discounts. His representation did nothing for us 2. Walk us through/decode the contract or Walked us through the process 3. Review our Perry appraisal 4. Checked on the house to make sure things were on schedule or Meet our construction manager 5. Checked for Construction delays 6. Help us get a better interest rate with lender 7. Assist us on our inspection or attend our demo before closing 8. Attend our closing (he could have, I asked) 9. He did not coordinate our funds for transfer because I did all this with the underwriter myself I talked to him about this and we had to essentially tell him that he didn't earn that money and some incentive should be given. He gave us peanuts. Had we known he would be hands off, we would have gone with a broker who would offer us a rebate. A lesson learned for us but what a crummy thing to do. Consumers and sellers, please watch out for sharks.

Mike was super helpful through the sales process and the crew they sent out went above and beyond. With these types of purchases you have two risks because most of the products available are similar. Does the sales person over promise what they can get done for what price and then the quality of the crew sent to install. Because we wanted to get it before Christmas Mike pointed out product that was locally stocked. The 4 person crew installed it 7 days later going above and beyond. They even did a couple things for my elderly parents that probably weren't included in the quote but just because they are great guys. Definitely recommend Carpet World and will be shopping there when I look for flooring for my home.
