They've always treated my family very fairly when we've had to file a claim. I'm not trying to persuade anyone reading my review to go with Ed Thompson - State Farm but, I will say this. Find a "reputable" Insurance Company with an agent you like. Stick with them, build a rapport and don't go with another Insurance Company just to save a few bucks annually. Where do I start? I was with another insurance company for about 10 yrs. But after listening to the…read morerecommendations of several friends about how awesome State Farm was, I decided to switch auto insurance companies. After calling Ed Thompson's State Farm location in Pearland, TX, answering all questions, and receiving a quote, I became a State Farm member. Well, one week after I became insured, State Farm asked me for proof of address, I provided it. Then several days later, I was questioned about my name change, well, I got married. Then a week passed and I was asked to provide proof of prior insurance, and yup you guessed it, I provided the documents. And then just two days ago I was asked to provide proof of purchase. So I called my auto finance company and was given a copy of Proof of Purchase, which I provided to State Farm yesterday. After providing everything State Farm requested, I received a call yesterday evening stating that they are cancelling my policy effective immediately. I was shocked, confused, then sad, then upset!!! After asking why several times, I could not be given a reason for the cancellation. I have had continuous insurance for years and no accidents. I could not believe I was being treated this way! I was told that I could reapply and that my payments would go up an additional $200 per month on top of what I was paying! That's ridiculous! So I was left with the following options: 1) Reapply and pay the increased monthly payments, 2) go crawling back to my previous insurance company and hope and pray they accept me back, or 3) shop around for another insurance company, which would cause another hit to my credit score!! Ed Thompson's office has caused me unnecessary stress, embarrassment, and a huge headache!!! I would steer clear of this office! I will do everything in my power to let everyone in Pearland, TX know NOT to do business with his office! This is not what I expected from State Farm and this will not be the last they hear from me.

She worked with both me and my wife, answered our questions clearly, adjusted quotes based on our needs, helped explain flood coverage options, provided next steps, and kept communication moving with our lender during closing. Even when our loan situation became uncertain, Alexis was understanding, reassuring, and continued to help us navigate things professionally. Alexis made a complicated process feel much more manageable, and we really appreciated her responsiveness, professionalism, and care. I would absolutely recommend Alexis to anyone needing home and auto insurance.

Mary Elizabeth Walker at Albright Family Insurance representing Allstate was very knowledgable and informative. With her expertise we eased into the proper insurance coverage treatment for our purchase and closed on the new property in another county today! We would not want to deal with anyone else. This company already handles our current home and has been our go-to people for Auto insurance as well. Best competitive rates around. We are in good hands indeed!!

I then made multiple follow-up calls in an attempt to reach Casey. These follow-ups were not voicemails; my calls were answered, and I was personally told each time that Casey would return my call by the end of the day. That never happened. If I was no longer being considered for the position, I would have understood and appreciated a straightforward response. However, repeatedly assuring a candidate that they will be contacted and then failing to follow through reflects a lack of professionalism and respect for people's time. Based on this experience, I chose to withdraw my candidacy. It also raised concerns for me about transparency and accountability within the organization, as the way a company treats potential employees often reflects how it treats its customers.

Their personal approach makes you feel less like you are walking alone through a tough period in life.
