I'm surprised by the sniping here, but those reviews were long ago, and I suspect "Gail" no longer works here? I was visiting friends, and my girlfriend loves this store, and the brand. We went in, and golly -- I was hooked! Super cute styles that function almost as a capsule wardrobe, because nearly everything goes with nearly everything, and is made with a wonderful, performance jersey. I love that they have some things that are a bit longer than Lilly Pulitzer and others; there is a jersey skort, made from kind of a waxed cotton (not sure how it is categorized) that won't show your whole backside when you're golfing. They also carry a ruffled v-neck, sleeveless top in a myriad of colors and prints, that will get you around the "collared" shirt requirement on the course. My friend found a darling dress with a-line shoulders and lots of straps/cut outs, in a beautiful navy and green print. It was mine! Pricing is not "cheap," but neither is the quality, and you'll find it's a good bit less expensive than Lilly Pulitzer; Jean Pierre Klifa; Spartina; and other brands with similar colors; material; and quality. To me, that's value. Virginia helped us in the store, and she was very nice, very knowledgeable, and even offered to set back the kelly green linen jacket, because she suspected I would call back and want it -- and she was right! I absolutely love this store. I go every time in the area. Their clothing is awesome. I think half my wardrobe comes from this store now. I'm not sure who used to work here to get some of the bad reviews, but everyone I've met in the last 3 years has been so kind and helpful. I can't recommend them enough. read more

The UfV 50 cooling fabric at palm palms is awesome. I have issues with the heat in the summertime and I get a rash. This fabric is like putting on your clothing right out of the refrigerator. I do outside craft shows on the weekend and this is my new uniform. They have an unbelievable choices of colors to mix and match with solids and prints and beautiful coastal fabrics. The sales girl was very nice and very helpful and everything I wanted was available in my size. If you want to be comfortable in the summertime and look great, this is a place to shop. read more

On vacation with my friend, we stopped in and was greeted by Mary. What a fun time we had. We spent $500 between us on Monday. We stopped in again on Tuesday and was greeted by Gina. She was a blast!!! We stopped a few more times during the week and purchased nearly $1500 in clothes, jewelry and just fun clothes! I will never step foot in here again - never speaks to anyone who enters and then attacks me after asking who I am voting for - calls me stupid etc- I told her to cancel purchase! I discovered Palm Palms while on a trip to Clearwater in June 2020. The staff was very nice, made me feel welcome and safe (masks, distancing etc...) I purchased 2 comfy/fun dresses- unfortunately they did not have my size in one of the dresses but offered to mail one to my home in Chicago once they were able to get a hold of one. There is another Palm Palms store at John's Pass which I had visited whilst on my spring break just last week and again, had an excellent experience. I purchased another pretty dress, a skirt, and a top. Quality clothing and professional staff! Highly recommended this store! I wish they had a website to make purchases too. read more

My best friend and I are here on vacation. Today (4/26/17) we stopped for lunch then popped in the small stores that were nearby. The moment we walked into Palm Palms (fun comfy clothing) store, the one and only lady working there immediately made us feel unwelcome. I was wearing a beach cover up dress and had been standing near the window. She approached me and asked me if I was aware that my dress was see-thru. I said yes I am aware it is. She gave me the nastiest look then told me there's nothing in her store for me. I'm a corporate event planner and have been to numerous resorts, hotels, boutiques, shops, etc. during my 27 year career, and I have never ever come across anyone so rude. I don't know if this was the owner or not but whoever this woman is doesn't belong in a customer service business. read more

I came in with my Grandmother one day and the lady working in the store at the time did not greet us. When she did speak to us she was extremely rude to my grandmother. My grandmother wanted to purchase something but before she could buy it the lady informed her that she was not allowed to return anything. The lady working in the store spoke in a way where she sounded like a miserable human being. Anyone who can be rude and nasty to a 81 year old woman who is your only customer in your store buying things that are not even worth the money is not someone who's business I would ever support. I like the Palm Palms Shop in Johns Pass, Maderia Beach, FL, so much more than the store in Sand Key. The salesperson at Sand Key, Gail, has to be the most rudest salesperson I have ever met. I exchanged a top that I purchased at Johns Pass, at Sand Key. Gail, unkindly pointed out to me that there are no returns, exchanges only, "read the sign" she said. I did my exchange, with a credit of five dollars, one would have thought it was one hundred the way she was so put out. I have been to the Sand Key store twice since, and both times, she has been there. She did not acknowledge me, stood at the counter the whole time, she does not belong in the sales business let alone anywhere where she has to deal with the public. Until Palm Palms can terminate Gail, I suggest visiting the Johns Pass store where you will receive great and friendly customer service. read more

I USED to look forward to shopping here. Would bring friends in EVERY time they come in town. Made a hefty purchase on 10/13/20 and the woman was very nice. I went back on 10/15/20 to return or exchange 1 item and the RUDEST woman didn't even say hello, and kept interrupting me as I was trying to explain that I wanted to get the SAME patterned dress, just a different style. Before I could finish, she cut me off. I said I wasn't finished talking and she said SO FINISH TALKING, AND THEN ROLLED HER EYES TO MY HUSBAND!! She then said "We don't like returns and THEY should have told you to try it on when you bought it!" I was STUNNED at how awful she was. I couldn't get a word in. As I was about to leave in frustrated tears, she THEN said "DO YOU LIVE HERE? I can give a store credit!" I took the credit, but would rather shred it than step back in there.
