So since birthdays were nowhere near, I decided to get the Happy Glampers experience for Halloween. It was going to make Halloween night magical! She had so many options for holiday decor from Wednesday Addams, hocus-pocus, or ordinary Halloween, but let's be honest, nothing is ordinary when it comes to the decorations that Happy Glampers puts on! The truck pulled up, and my living room was magically, transformed into a slumberland! Everything was done so quickly and thoroughly! We even took a fun video! When the kids came home, they were in amazement and their faces lit up with joy! I have an 11 year old girl and a 9 year old boy, and it turns out my 12 year old boxer was also thrilled with the tents! She slept with us and wouldn't leave the tents throughout the day, and also chose to sleep there the second night, and not with my husband and I, which she normally does. Since I have longed for this experience, I decided to also partake in the slumber party with my children on night one! We had these tents for two nights! On Halloween night, my daughter was able to have a friend sleepover! My daughter's friend kept thanking us for letting her sleep over to have this experience. The trays were absolutely darling. My son wanted to have breakfast, lunch and dinner sitting at his tent space. I highly recommend not waiting for your birthday and just doing a Family slumber party! It was such a hit for our group of friends because we have a lot of kids that are 1-5 years old. The guys showed up and put together the space really quickly. I didn't realize there was a giant beam in the middle of the space where I wanted the play area and the crew was able to work around it, which I really appreciated their flexibility. We did have a bit of a hiccup with the breakdown of the event because the crew confirmed with the wrong person when they were supposed to come down to take it all down, so they ended up showing up an hour late. Thankfully there wasn't an event after ours so it was all good. Overall really good experience and it was the best value in terms of set-up that I found in the area, so would definitely consider them for a soft play set-up again!

I found Julie's embroidery on Yelp. She had some good reviews and then I contacted her. She told me that she and her husband runs the business to help pay for her family's college funds and that she and her husband comes into the city, SF, sets up then hangs out for a date/dinner for the night then return and collects all the chair covers. Her pricing was AWESOME (around $3/chair cover with sash). I was sold after that first phone call, not just because of the price but because she sounded so sincere, reliable, and genuine. Julie even sent me multiple sashes to make sure I chose the correct sash color to match our wedding colors. She also went to Yank Sing our venue to make sure the chair covers she had in stock will fit perfectly. I never had the chance to meet her in person until the day of the wedding when she and her family was setting up all 270 chair covers with sashes tied (I included pictures- white covers with green organza sashes). The chair covers were PERFECT and the sashes were all tied to perfection and ALL lasted throughout the banquet. Along with appetizer stations which also included passed hors d'oeuvres, we had an open bar for cocktail hour. Our dinner service was a buffet of chicken, salmon, and prime rib with two kinds of potato, rice and salads. There was plenty of food and everyone complimented how good the food was. Good portions and great taste, especially the prime rib. The venue uses iMobile DJs and our DJ was Eugene Macala. He was great and kept the energy and crowd engaged. Our cake was made by La Gateau, who provided a ton of samples to try before finalizing the cake selection. Florist was Paula's in Antioch that made the centerpieces and head table.
