My experience at Ashton Pointe Apartments has been extremely disappointing…read more On June 6, 2026, my apartment flooded due to a maintenance issue. In my opinion, the damage was not properly addressed at that time. Over the following weeks, I noticed my flooring beginning to lift, so I reported the issue to management. On July 7, a mitigation company (Titan) came to inspect my apartment. I immediately requested a copy of the inspection findings and work order. As of July 18, I still have not received those documents despite making multiple requests. As a resident, I believe I should be informed about the condition of my home and the scope of the repairs being performed. I was initially told the repairs would be completed by July 10. However, when I returned home that evening, I found sections of my flooring removed and industrial drying equipment running inside my apartment. More equipment was later added, and the machines have now been operating 24 hours a day for over a week. During this time, I have been unable to fully use my kitchen or my washing machine, and the constant noise from the equipment has made it difficult to comfortably live in my home. I also received multiple notifications from SRP showing a significant increase in my electricity usage because the drying equipment is powered through my apartment. I believe I should not be responsible for the increased utility costs resulting from repair equipment required for this maintenance issue. I have also requested temporary hotel accommodations while the equipment is running and repairs are underway, but that request was denied. The only information I have received is that I will need to vacate my apartment for approximately 48 hours while additional flooring is removed, with more work to follow afterward. I still have not been given a clear timeline for when the repairs will be completed. Most concerning, I was presented with an agreement that would reimburse my increased SRP costs only if I agreed to waive future claims related to this matter. I was not comfortable agreeing to those terms. Especially if the underline issue could lead to potentially health risk I encourage prospective residents to carefully consider how maintenance issues, communication, and resident concerns are handled. My experience has been marked by delayed repairs, limited communication, ongoing disruption to my family's daily life, and uncertainty about when our home will be fully restored.

If I could give 10 stars to JBS Roofing, I would. We called them out after a huge storm where we…read morehad a leak in our 2-story house that resulted in water infiltration in our kitchen on the first floor. We discovered the leak had been cause by an improper solar installation, which made the entire process that much more stressful, especially after mold was found during their tear-down. The team at JBS was amazing through the entire process. Their installers assisted us by taking photos throughout the entire process (before photos included here), their job supervisors and installers kept us informed of progress and issues the entire time, and the office staff was extremely supporting and helpful, answering our questions and providing necessary documentation to aid our interactions with the insurance company. The team was always punctual, professional and friendly. They cleaned up so well that our yard looked better when they left than it did when they arrived. To top it off, the cost of our roof repair, even with the extra material needed, was 30% LOWER than our neighbor, who has the exact same floor plan. I highly recommend JBS Roofing. If you prefer to be more than just a contract number, definitely use them for your roof.

We selected JBS Roofing last May after having 10 other contractors come out, and give us a quote…read morefor a new roof. JBS Roofing was not the cheapest of the 10, but they took the time to explain things in every detail. We were told that this would take 4-5 days to complete. It did not. More like 15 days before all of our issues were somewhat straightened out. As it turns out selecting JBS Roofing was the worst decision we ever made, I guess we fell for the sales pitch. Everything seemed to be going fine on day one, and day two as they removed the old roof. On day three no one even showed up, because apparently the equipment to load the new tiles onto the roof was unavailable. We were not informed of this until the following day. No phone call, no text. On the 4th day, on the back side of the roof where it meets the patio, they decided that they would stop one row short with the tile of the roof meeting the patio. What employee thought "hey that looks OK"??? (see pictures) After speaking with the supervisor, they added another row of tile so that it met with where it joined the patio. Also on the fourth day the heavy equipment that they used to load the tiles on the roof put a crack in our driveway. We spoke to the supervisor, and he agreed to get that fixed. The cement company (Blue Steel Builders) came out, and replaced the entire slab of the driveway. We have a texture pattern on our driveway which they tried to match, and the color is so far off, it's unbelievable. Literally like night and day (see pics)... again what employee thought "hey that looks good)??? It's not even a close match. They used chocolate brown when our driveway is sand colored. The cement company has come out several times to try to make it match to no avail, and eventually ghosted us by not returning my phone calls. In hindsight , I would rather have the cracked driveway then this comedic joke of what they call a fix. We should have never asked for the repair On the fifth day , while we were expecting them to finish, they ran out of tile, and the garage, and front patio were not complete. What roofing company that has been in business for over thirty years runs out of tile ??? Rookie mistake. We were told they would be back to finish on Tuesday because Monday was Memorial Day. Come Tuesday no one shows up, instead they show up on Wednesday to finish the job. We also have a small section of roofing, maybe two tiles deep over our pop out kitchen window. They worked on this section of the roof and it looked like a small child did the job. (see photos) Unfortunately I didn't see it because they had left without saying they were finished. You would think a roofing company would at least ring your doorbell, and let you know that they are finished, and let you look around to see how it looks.... not JBS they hop in their trucks, and haul out of town. Another call to the supervisor to have them come out and fix this mess over our kitchen window. He sent someone else from his crew that did a much better job, but the flashing where it met the tile was still separated. So I had to call the supervisor again, and he eventually came out and fixed it himself. So in closing, our roof is finished after much poking, prodding, and frustration. Our driveway is ruined, and like I said , I wish we could go back to just having a cracked driveway. We in no way shape, or form could ever recommend this company to anyone. It's literally amateur hour at JBS. The person who actually recommended this company to me will no longer do so.... I urge you all to stay as far away from this company as you can, unless you like to have $20,000 extracted from your pocket for amateur workmanship. Wish there was a Zero star for this review.
