It took some…read moreadjustment after two high schools in New Mexico (which is ranked like 48th in the nation in education), but was overall a good experience. Most of the teachers are experienced, the sports teams are usually talented and the ROTC program is pretty good. I liked all the basketball courts and extracurricular activities offered here. The main negative was that there were 2,000+ students in a space designed for half that number. But I think they've expanded since I was there.

You can tell that many of them go above and beyond to make learning engaging, especially in subjects like science and English. The administration does a pretty good job of keeping parents informed through emails and school events, and there's usually good communication between staff and families. The school also offers a variety of clubs and activities that help kids find their interests outside of class. Like any middle school, it has its challenges--some larger class sizes and the occasional discipline issue--but overall, it feels like a safe, structured environment where students can learn and grow. The things that attracted us to select Paraclete High School are the Safety record of the school with respect to students, the class sizes and the overall small school atmosphere. We felt that she would get lost at the larger school in our area. We are so glad that we selected Paraclete.
