Our hotel provided the information brochure. Made a phone call and they were kind enough to book us for the same day appointment. Drop off starts from 7:30AM - 11AM. Pick up is before 7PM. Proof of vaccination is required to board your pet and cash payment of $30-40 per day. Frances who greeted us at the door was absolutely wonderful. He made it easy for us to leave our dog with him and enjoy the day. Tamara who was there for the evening shift was pretty awesome. There were few dogs and 2 cats already but, most of them were pretty calm and friendly. There were several separated areas for pets to sleep in. Ample space for visiting pets to be playful and stay comfortable. Will be sure to visit again if we travel with a pet in the future.

Prior to our first cat sitting arrangement, Valerie came to our home to meet our cat and get a feel for the cat's needs. We really appreciated this! Since that time, we have called upon Valerie to cat sit for short trips as well as extended vacations. She has always been able to fit us in, even during busy holiday times. Moreover and perhaps more importantly, our cat seems to be happy upon our return. We have found the Comfy Pets rates to be quite reasonable, too. We typically opt for a 15 minute visit on one day, followed by a longer visit (for more playtime with the cat) on the following day. Valerie always puts together an explicit contract which lays out fees/expectations. Again, I think this speaks to her high degree of professionalism and work ethic. She also gives us an update or two about our cat while we are gone, and we've loved this extra bit of information as it helps put us at ease! It can be hard leaving your pet, but please know that Valerie is fantastic and trustworthy. I highly recommend her!

We use to travel quite often, but luckily Val and Dave were always able to accommodate a place for Cassie during those days. It was such a relief to know she was able to stay in a loving home when separated from us. We were so lucky to find them all those years ago because they really are the best! Now that we're moving to the west coast, we're sad that Cassie won't get to stay with them again. Hopefully we'll be able to find someone just as good where we're moving, but Val and Dave's care will be hard to beat!

Shortly after they were diagnosed with pneumonia and our vet bills neared $4000. I am not alone. The emergency vet stated several other dogs were hospitalized with a very severe case of pneumonia after their stay at the same kennel. I immediately informed the kennel of my dog's diagnosis. I asked the vet if they did, and they said they informed the kennel as well after the first three cases. After sharing my dogs experience on social media (without mentioning the kennel name), several others messaged me to to let me know about their sick dogs boarded before, during, and after at the same kennel. While negotiating vet expenses with the owner, JC, I was referred to contact their lawyer. Delmarva K9 blocked me from their Facebook page. My account access on their portal to access my pet information was revoked as well. My dogs seem to have recovered, but my friend's young dog was not so lucky. He lost his life after battling Mycoplasma Pneumonia.

I asked her if the dogs were safe, she was like yea they are fine. I asked if that is how dogs hang themselves. Anyway when I picked up my dog she rang up price without $10 discount, I didn't sign and she rang up with the discount deduction and I signed and left. PROBLEM!!! Both charges are on my account, I called a week later after pending and explained I had 2 charges, she checked her records and said she would reverse charge. 12/3/2018 I ended up filing a claim with my credit card company. Her subs were seen on camera smoking out front, side and rear of the house while hanging out? The cleaning was sub par and the cost was equivalent to those who provide their own cleaning supplies. She sent texts complaining about how the house was dirty after stays which is what she was hired to clean. She complained that she spent time on her hands and knees cleaning the carpet so I purchased a rug washer (and also having the rugs cleaned quarterly); she never once used it. She promised to do laundry which often wasn't done. She would randomly show up to my house when there were no renters (on camera and door code notifications). I would send supplies to her house where she stated that " she may have used them at other houses" was abhorrent. My cost of resupplying paper products and cleaning products was significantly less this year than with CC.
