I called and was able to get an appointment for the following week. The lady who scheduled my appointment was very friendly and told me she would mail me my new patient paperwork to fill out in advance of my appointment to save time. The paperwork took a long time to fill out, so I'm glad that they mailed it. Parking is plentiful, so there were no issues finding a spot. The receptionist was friendlyish. Once you get past the front desk, the staff is very friendly. I was taken to the back within 10 mins of my appointment time. All of the nurses that I interacted with had great personalities, and they made me feel very comfortable. The nurse took my vitals and gathered information for the doctor. I sat in the room and waited for 30 mins to an hour for the doctor to come in. Doctor Izzo has great bedside manners and is very knowledgeable. He took all of my concerns seriously and set up referrals for everything we spoke about since I needed all new doctors. I'm pleased with my new doctor's office and physician. I would recommend this practice.

Without reservation, she's the best primary care doctor I've ever had, bar none. Every person on her staff has been kind, professional, and caring--every time! Even if I move an hour or two away, Dr. Scarborough will continue to be my doctor. She is a rare individual and doctor: more like a friend who cares about my welfare and as well as my health. She always schedules enough time during visits to actually talk with patients and then listens to them, then follows through to address any health issues that need her attention. We aren't shuffled through her office like a number to quickly move out of the way, but as a person who is there for her help and expertise. If I've had to call after hours for a pressing issue(which I've done a couple of times), either she or her NP Holly always calls me back quickly and takes care of what I need. I'm a grandmother, years older than she, but we're "on the same page," and I've never felt or seen any condescension from her or her staff (which is more common everywhere these days toward older people). He has been our doctor for several years now, and I can honestly say that he is one of the best we have ever had. He goes out of his way to allow two way communication between us, and always is willing to provide that "extra" service. Dr Harrison takes most if not all medical insurances, see his patients reasonably on time and takes plenty of time with you. With the assistance of a excellent physicians assistant, one can usually get a appointment very quickly. The office is located centrally, across the street from Bleckley Memorial Hospital and always has lots of parking space. Office is pleasant and spacious. Dr. Harrison is part of the Taylor Group, and his staff is provided by that organization. As has been the case with other doctors in this group the staff can require a little extra follow up to insure you get what you want. While I would rate Dr Harrison as "five star", I would rate his office staff as a four. Overall: My experience with Dr Harrison has been great and I would recommend him to anyone.

I was told by Kandice P.A.'s assistant that they could not renew my medication by Georgia State law because I have to be seen every six months. In fact this is an out right lie. Many insurance companies may require it but its not a state law and I'm a cash customer. Obviously not a patient because I would have been treated better. They know I moved and didn't wanna help. I paid an an online service $40 and have a brand new prescription for the next year now. Check online services if you just need a refund. Don't bother with this dolt like staff that doesn't have the courtesy to even call you. I wouldn't eat food at a restaurant with their rating so why would I teust them with my health.

And, I asked about it. Well, I was told, You have no Co-pay due at this time. Yay! But, the other day, I get a bill for the Co-Pay on that day. Boo! So, I called the Billing Dept, and asked about it. But, since the department is not in the same office (not even in the same county), they couldn't explain what happened. So, I had to pay it. :-( And, rather than having to pay postage, I was able to pay it over the phone. 8-) But, the Billing Dept can't process the payment. They have to call the office. Sheesh! Talk about a FUBAR! But, I do like the people there. So, I'll keep 'em for a while.

I had just been in about 6 months prior, but I set the appointment. Although my first appointment to establish care took quite a while, I waited less than 30 minutes to see her for a follow-up. Once in the room, the doctor was apologetic. Apparently, the staff had not been attentive to her notes where she asked for refills to be given. I didn't appreciate the lost sleep (night shift nurse problem), but I did appreciate her owning the error. Ultimately, I am satisfied with the care she provides, and I will continue to see her for my general care in the future. Dr. Shorter has been my primary care provider for a year. She is kind, respectable, and efficient.
