My Familty Law matter is unfortunately extremely complicated. There is a history of abuse, children with developmental diagnoses, and a significant disparity of income which my ex has used to perpetuate abuse through the Family Court system. In the 3 years since our divorce was finalized, I've retained multiple attorneys and had to represent myself at times when it came down to choosing between feeding our kids and paying for an attorney. My previous counsel was not fighting very hard for my case or for the kids and after a really poor representation at a hearing, I sought new counsel. I have been in Court a few dozen times and seen firsthand how the attorneys at Palmer Rodak & Associates zealously fight for their clients. I wish I didn't need an attorney, but given the propensity for abuse through the legal system, I need someone strong and knowledgeable on my side. The way these matters affect our kids is significant. My case is unique and not an easy one, partly due to opposing counsel and the way my ex is directing his side of the case. Do your research! I don't care how many positive reviews he is referring to. I Absolutely would not recommend him. Unfortunately, Mr. Palmer was hired to represent our family in a trust matter. They are impossible to get ahold of, do not respond to emails or phone calls and Mr. Palmer is never available. I would not hire or recommend this firm under any circumstances. Mr. Palmer explained to me that he does not typically handle trust matters. His paralegals are who he has handle them. If I wanted a paralegal, I would have hired one. A competent one at that. The paralegal he hired to handle our case was terminated after nearly a year of phone calls and emails which were ignored and never responded to. Unfortunately, we were forced to fire Mr. Palmer for "dropping the ball" on our case. This case was not a priority due to its monetary value. It's as simple as that. read more

I did reach out to you during the process and your secretary's were rude, refused to provide me with an invoice or any progress on the simple marital agreement we had asked you guys to ONLY put into format acceptable by the court. Some how that used up $1500 retainer and no documents or any leg work was produced from your office. My ex husband used the time you guys wasted to hire his own attorney and when I asked YOU what to do after a traumatic court hearing (no documents still form your office) you told me into these exact words, "Give me another retainer and maybe I can help."
