I used Palmetto Car Service for the first time last week and had an incredible experience. They picked me up at our home on Hilton Head and took me to the Savannah airport. On my return they did the reverse. Prior to picking me up for my departure flight I received a text with details on when the driver would arrive. On the return flight, the driver texted me to let me know that she was following my flight and would be close by when I landed. These extra details went along way. As a female traveling solo I truly appreciated that Palmetto Car Service provided female drivers. I also appreciated the extra level of communication, warmness and friendliness that my drivers Cathi and Pricilla provided. Their level of professionalism and experience exceeded my expectations. Great Experience , I always use this Service from Savannah Airport to Hilton Head, They have such Comfortable New cars. Ive taken them over a dozen times. I have learned to Book in advance since once they were booked already. They Did offer me to get me another company and i declined. What a mistake i made. I went with a Uber and it was a Disaster. The car smelled like cigaretts, rotten eggs had garbage on Floor. the Driver was playing loud music entire time. Very bad experience. I was spoiled with palmetto car service. So far i had 3 different drivers with them and they were all Fantastic. It seems like they are all family and friends. I do wish they did restaurant runs, They said they only do Airport runs and Hilton Head to Downtown savannah trip. I will never go another way again. They are worth every penny read more

We decided to end our winter vacation early last year, to avoid an incoming ice storm. Palmetto agreed to drive my family from Hilton Head to Savannah GA, as flights were cancelled out of Hilton Head. On the way to Savannah, we got word THAT flight was cancelled, and the next one wouldn't be until four days later. So we asked our Palmetto driver to take us all the way to Charlotte to make our connecting flight, and he agreed. He took his whole day to go to Charlotte and back, to save us from having to stay four days in Savannah or re-renting a car to drive all the way home to St. Louis in an ice storm! read more

I gave this car service the most difficult task. I booked them for a 4:15 a.m. pickup in Hilton Head for a ride to Savannah airport, on hour away for a very early flight.
