We used Above and Beyond for our large Girl Scout troop. We used the bus and it was perfect. Our driver was very friendly and accommodating. We had the same driver all week while visiting Savannah. He took us to and from the airport and also out to Tybee Island and back. While on Tybee he allowed myself and my daughter (who was the youngest on the trip) come back to the bus and take a nap. read more

After filling out the request I called to confirm and was told they would call back. Two hours later I called to confirm and was told they had no availability. Above & Beyond Limousine Service charged my credit card WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION for an additional whopping amount of $844.60 which amounted in a total of $1,368.44 with my two authorized payments of $343.84 and $180 in exchange for service of 9.3 miles or 17 minutes of driving time for just 6 and then 4 mostly elderly passengers from my family. With no additional invoice for payment, warning, written or verbal authorization, I was concerned that this must have been fraudulent activity with this being a mind-boggling 300% increase from my original quote and payment. To my horrifying surprise, this shocking activity (i.e. credit card theft) was malicious activity perpetrated by Above & Beyond. When I reached out to Above & Beyond that this was unacceptable behavior with questions on the total charges, I was met with hostility beyond a severe lack of professionalism. Accordingly, this was harassment, and we don't know if its because we are an interracial couple with gay parents/parent-in-laws who were passengers of this company. In my communication over the phone with Above & Beyond, I made very clear that if a resolution could not be reached by the time this call ended which lasted over 27-minutes, I would move forward under the basis that this was THEFT THROUGH CHARGING ANY AMOUNT AT ANY TIME WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION and their accusatory demeanor to customers is simply how their business operates. I was allowed the opportunity to walk away from the phone call in which I was yelled at, and still to this day, I have yet to receive a sincere apology, let alone an apology at all. At 5:53 in the evening, I received another call from their number which rolled into my voicemail - no message was left. Less than an hour later at 6:44PM as I'm trying to spend quality time with my fiancé and her lovely moms during their official and legal marriage which promptly followed our engagement, I then received a missed call from a hidden 'No Caller ID' number. A voicemail was left this time by a man I don't know, introducing himself as THE OWNER of Above & Beyond, Horris Johnson. I was asked by Mr. Johnson to call back. NOWHERE in this voicemail was AN APOLOGY given or corrective next steps mentioned or outlined. Shaken up and rattled, I felt as if this inappropriate and abusive behavior was utterly unacceptable. Knowing what I know now, I don't know if our driver of 17 minutes, Ramona, was an accomplice of Above & Beyond in defrauding me through believable misrepresentation. This can be characterized by her pleasantry to us and persistence in her avocation for a short unrequested ride home to the Bohemian Hotel, knowing we had only contracted for 2 hours in total service which we exceeded during our family meal celebrating our engagement and our growing family. It's important to note that our driver took it upon herself to wait in the van directly outside the restaurant where we were dining. As I shared with this company which FALSELY ADVERTISES itself as "the Gold Standard," I tend to give the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately, doing so here is unfortunately unfathomable beyond a reasonable doubt as the fact pattern is indisputable that they first defrauded me, stole from me, and then harassed my family. After much deliberation, the company reluctantly gave back the money they had the wherewithal to originally steal from me which should have NEVER have occurred in the first place. The irony is after recapping on all of the details of our proposal transportation with this company, they actually called this a "wedding gift," expecting a thank you. I'm thinking, "Do these thieves actually want me to thank them for f*cking me?" This company should be ashamed, and the only thing that they went "above and beyond" to do was steal the money I set aside for a wedding gift after 40 years for my mother-in-laws. Our wedding planner and everyone we know will not be booking or rebooking through Above & Beyond. I strongly urge you to think twice before booking from this corrupt and disappointing company. I used Above and Beyond Transportation Service to pick me up from the Savannah Airport after a trip abroad. I was very, very, pleased. My flight from Atlanta to Savannah was delayed due to thunderstorms in the Atlanta area so I did not have any defined time of arrival. I was able to communicate with the answering service through text, so my driver, Lorne Greene, was available and ready to go once I arrived. He was such a nice man! I am most grateful to him and to the woman manning the answering service when I realized after Mr. Greene had left my home that I had left my purse in the car! Once I called, I received a text that the purse had indeed been left in the car and the driver was returning it to my home! Thank you!
