I saw two salon chairs toward the back so I'm not sure if it offers salon services also. The girls working were incredibly gracious. They were very friendly and helpful too. The shirts and hats here are pricier than a touristy beach shop, but they look like they'll last for years to come and many more beach visits. If you have kids to shop for, this is a great spot, and you can find everything from shirts and hats to books written by local authors. I personally like buying Christmas ornaments when traveling, and Islands Mercantile has an impressive selection of those, too. When you walk in, almost all of the items are Kiawah themed, but as you walk to the back of the stores you see enclaves of Seabrook items. Check out the sale area for deals too.

The shop has a large variety of tee shirts, sweatshirts, shorts and jackets all with the Charleston pride. I found a nice sweatshirt, tried it on in the dressing room and all ladies gave me a thumbs up. When it came time to wash clothes, I washed my new Sweatshirt as well some white socks and underwear? Now they're pink... Great clothing shop with lots of Quality Charleston outerwear.
