It cost $2100. He had another surgery on his eye. Same scenario with the anesthesia, the Dr and assistants, pre and post OP visits, a full day's stay and medication. $2300. Their ridiculous price forces a pet owner to either take out a loan they can't afford or put down their cherished loved one. I had to put down my dog without ever knowing what happened to him or if he could have been saved. I posted this review on another site and they replied with a pathetic, fake sympathy statement followed by a long list of excuses why they are special and worth THREE TIMES more than a doctor that performed actual life saving surgery on my dog. I replied with this: IT'S AN MRI NOT CANCER SURGERY. You think the other doctors that did actual surgery on my dog don't have the same things and costs associated with their field of study? You want to have sympathy? Stop catering to the rich and taking advantage of the poor. Charge a reasonable fee for a damn MRI. An MRI for a human with the same equipment is a few hundred dollars. I found Kelsey by accident talking to my nephew's neighbor. He also had a Sheepadoodle but his dog…read morewas well behaved and obedient. I had Baxter, a 10-month-old Sheepadoodle puppy. He had been with 2 other trainers and nothing worked. He was out of control. . . barking, jumping, could not walk on a leash. I asked him who trained his dog and he said Lead Change Dog Training. On Monday, I called her. That phone call changed all of our lives for the better. Baxter did 6-week board training, and we picked him up on Friday evenings and continued w/the training over the weekend and dropped him off Monday mornings. We saw changes in Baxter by the end of week 2. Baxter has finished training, and we could not be happier. Baxter listens, we can take him out in public, and we have friends/family come over to our house. Baxter went from a wild puppy to a loving and obedient member of the family. We are so grateful for everything Kelsey has done for Baxter but also for her guidance and tools that we use every day. Kelsey is 10 out of 10.

A girlfriend of mine suggested Kelly at Pet Pals of Delray. I called her explained what I needed she quoted an extremely reasonable price, she explained she would like a meet and greet so that my cat would meet her while I was home and that I was also able to show her everything involving my cat. We met, my cat walked right up to Kelly and I knew Kelly would be the right person for my cats care. I gave her a key and I paid half up front. Every day I was gone she would send pictures and video of my cat and update how her eating and disposition was, it totally eased my anxiousness of leaving my cat the longest time ever in her 4 years we have had her. I plan on using Pet Pals of Delray in the near future.

I have tried other emergency vets (Coral Springs Animal Hospital and Animal Emergency and Urgent Care Center in Deerfield beach) and found both places to be slow and horribly overpriced. I was really nervous about taking her in due to the potential cost but knew it was life or death so had no other choice and decided to try someplace new based on their good reviews and proximity to my home. I was surprised on arrival how welcoming the facility looked. Nice waiting area with comfortable seating and even snacks and water for distressed pet parents. I was even more surprised that they tended to my pup almost immediately. They induced vomiting quickly and gave her a few other medications that were priced almost the same as what I pay at her regular vet. I could not believe it. Overall it was not a cheap visit (nothing with pets ever is) but it was so much cheaper than other emergency vets I''ve visited. I'm glad there is finally a place that truly cares about helping animals get the help they need and not taking advantage of pet owners in our worst/ most distressing hours. I can't recommend this place enough. I just wish they were open a little bit later! But guess you can't have it all. I was in and out in less than an hour. Truly great experience
