Never take your dog here!!!! I have been bringing my dog here since he was 4 months old. He is now a senior dog and upon calling them to board him, the front desk put me on hold to speak to a manager. She came back on the phone to tell me that they dont have 24-7 care on certain days and we could board him but would have to pay for private care as he would be confined to his room due to his age and be let out for bathroom breaks/walks. He has never had an issue around other dogs and is elderly but is still mobile. They are great when you have a young puppy but once your pup gets older, they dismiss you and have no loyalty or care. If I knew this when we first brought him here, I would never have continued bringing him there. read more

However, on their last 14-day excursion, the staff ran out of food provided. This was curious to me because I left the dogs with a month's supply of dry food. I also left measuring cups for each and explicit simple instructions. Be very specific with your instructions. Repeat and repeat. Don't assume a casual nod of the head denotes understanding. My dog's toenail had been injured and was at a right angle to his toe, having bled profusely. They told me he "ran into a fence". There don't have cameras wherever this fence is so caregivers' account could not confirmed. Sounded fishy to me. My dog ended up having to have his toe partially amputated. 3 hours. My dog liked some of the staff there because, they played with him and 2 of the girls there, were really great. Now, this is super tacky... I brought my go there and brought his lunch, which I cooked myself for him. I was charged 3 dollars a day for them to BEND DOWN and put the food in front of him!!! This is NOT A JOKE, its true! there is MORE, my bank was fraud, and I had to cancel all my cards, I was waiting to get paid and asked the management to wait a week for payment, she said ok. on business day six, the reception told me I had a balance of 100 dollars, I paid it. the following day, I dashed in to get my dog, and did not have funds yet on my card, for a story of 25 dollars, they would not give me MY dog!!!! they had just been paid not 24 hours before! To top it all off, I do not think they even fed my dog and someone ate his food, because he was starving when he got home and I doubled his serving to see if he would be hungry when he got home, he was, my neighbor too told me that her dog came home STARVING. This is the third incident where she raised her voice at me and caused a scene because i asked a question about my dog's care while being boarded. So happy we found The Posh Hotel & Posh Pet Academy. The facility is lovely & offers many choices for daycare, boarding, grooming, and training. The Posh Pet Hotel has professional & friendly staff. They have special activity days for the pets! So Fun! The Posh Academy trainers are super with our dog in his obedience training! Our dog loves everyone there & he has learned so much! It is not easy to think of leaving your furry family members with anyone, but here they treat your pet like family! I went on a two week trip and needed a safe place for my cat to stay. She is an indoor cat and used to the company of people. From the moment I walked in to check the place out I was impressed. Pam greeted me and took me for a tour. It's rather large but the cat sanctuary is a bit more reeled in. They are of course kept separate from the dogs. I was instructed on how to prepare for her stay. Creature comforts, food, snacks and a feeding schedule. She would be staying in a cubby with a glass window that had enough space to climb and stretch. Her food was in with her. Her litter box was adjacent to her cubby with a hole for access. There was a fish tank for her viewing pleasure and a playroom with plenty of cat trees to climb. When I dropped her off she immediately sought out her litter box and checked out her new temporary digs. She seemed good so I said my goodbyes and with tear filled eyes drove away. I felt confident that they would take care of my Laverne. I enjoyed my trip immensely because I didn't have to worry about my cat. Enjoy the pics Rachel and Pam took and sent to me while I was away. If I could give posh pets 0 stars I would. Not only has my dog never been the same since I brought her back home. What they market and represent as what they will be providing to your animals is completely fraudulent and total lies. Not only was my dog traumatized after I had to come pick her up now she is sick and I have to take her to the veterinarian because she is clearly not well. I order the presidential suite which on the website represents itself as a posh luxury establishment with only the finest accommodations which is clearly not the case. Not only did I come to realize after I viewing my puppy on the supposed 24 seven cameras where they claim you can see your dog at all angles which again another lie. The presidential suite is a literal jail cell. I had to call the staff to ask them to give my dog attention because she was by herself lonely scared and sad and when I did that was the only time that she was giving attention. I will never recommend this place to anybody and frankly I don't even understand how they are still operational and in business. If you go and get the presidential suite make sure that you review the photo that I'm going to upload because what the photo of my dog stay looks like compared to the presidential suite is a complete sham and scam and I have been. Furthermore after coming to pick up my pet I found her in a space the size of a closet when I came to get her she was completely traumatized scared and clearly had not been attended to or given any type of attention. Why do I pay for what was clearly misrepresented to have my dog in the best room in the facility but yet when I come to pick her up she had been sitting in a cubicle the size of the 3 x 2' for the last six hours before I came to get her. This is the most egregious representation of what they provide and I'm completely horrified and disgusted at not only the condition my dog came back in but the way they represent what the accommodations are and how "posh & luxurious it truly is. Posh pets? What a joke. And if my dog on Thursday when I take her to the vet has become sick because of being there I will be taking legal action. read more

I recently just added a new family member and she's an adorable potcake from the Bahamas. At the moment she's five months old and is full of energy. I have looked into puppy daycare and researched this place and another one. When I spoke to the kind woman over the phone we discussed basic information and what she needed from me. Everything went smoothly and it was everything I was looking for without having to pay unnecessary fees or making Bimini have to do day care once a week. Surprisingly another business had those demands. This location is such a huge convenience for me being close to my house and job. The staff behind the counter is amazing and they engaged with your pet and even remember there names. The inside is very clean and organize. I have only taken her twice for half a day which is six hours at $20. How can you go wrong!? They do offer other services for your pet if needed. Bimini seems to gotten better at engaging with the other smaller dogs on her second time there. They do send you a text message with a link to see the video so you can watch your dog play. I went on a tour with a friend today and I have to say this place exceeded my expectations! We were greeted by Jessica and she was also our tour guide. This place is extremely organized, very clean and well maintained. Dog owners, you're golden! They offer a wide variety of suites and a vast amount of services including bedtime stories and tummy rubs. SAY WHAT????? I love the activities and schedules offered as well as the ability to check-in on your fur babies via the web. My 4 star rating verses a 5 star rating is due to the fact cats aren't offered a variety of suites. Their habitat is similar to that of a wooden locker with glass panels. I realize I might be a crazier #catmama than some, but I'd love for my cats to have a private suite too! I wouldn't feel comfortable subjecting a cat to the limited environment when he's accustomed to an entire home. I grasp kennels don't offer what this venue does, but clearly I'm not the type of personality to entertain a kennel. All in all, I'd say don't hesitate and board your beloved babies here. Really terrible experience. I was told by Kathy? that I would receive a call from the GM to review my concerns and get some well needed info for my vet since my dog seems to have a pretty bad rash on his testicles. All I wanted was basic information as to what shampoo they used (since my vet asked) and when I called (because I never received the follow up call I was promised,) I was NOW being told that they refuse to get me that information and the GM will NOT be speaking to me until I get a medical diagnosis. I am currently waiting to get that from my vet, but very sad this is how they treat loyal customers who have been bringing our fur babies in for several years. We didn't seem to have an issue in the past but this last experience was a major turn off. Marcus was the manger on duty when I picked up my dog and his response to me telling him the TV wasn't on all weekend was to "find another boarding center". Truly insulting after years of coming here and the only reconciliation I needed was a professional "so sorry that happened we can look into it for next time." I wasn't irate, or rude, just expressing concerns that a paying customer shouldn't be paying for TV when your dog doesn't get it? Not only that but after I got my receipt (which I had to ask for because now I don't trust them) - I noticed they charged me for 3 nights worth of bedtime stories and bedtime biscuits when he was only there 2 nights. If you choose to send your furbaby here, make sure you ask for a printed receipt- otherwise they email it. I will say I was appropriately refunded but only after that nasty comment was made & I was somehow the problem?? Very confused by that. The negative comment from the manager was unacceptable and them refusing to provide basic information for my Vet or receive a professional call back is completely unacceptable. Really wanted to love it but not for us. Dogs enjoyed the stay and were well cared for but the after math wasn't worth it. We give our dogs a preventative flea treatment, before we dropped them off my husband was going to give them their monthly but noticed in the paperwork it said "you authorize us to give your dog a dose of capstar upon arrival for flea treatment" we felt safe about that so didn't give them the monthly dose before drop off. Our one dog who socialized came back loaded with fleas ..we noticed within hours of picking them up she was scratching. We called Posh Pet the following morning and when we asked about the document we signed they said they stopped giving it. Olivia was super nice and probably the only reason I'm not leaving 1 star. She apologized and offered to give us a flea treatment we took it to later find it was only a 24 hour flee killer (not her fault) not intended for what we needed..the fleas came back two days later. Took them to the vet they said capstar can be dangerous for dogs and not meant if your dog has flees only meant if there's an outbreak to give time for a facility to clean. So we called back about 4 days later, posh pet denied it, Cathy gaslit us was super not nice basically spoke over me and definitely no apology from her until I finally was able to have the manager call me back after over a week. Said they were too busy from the holidays. A week later our house is infested, we have visible bite marks costs $400 for an exterminator and vet bills because it was that bad our poor dog Milo got worms from the fleas. They were going to "take a look at vet bills" I was upset in how we were spoken to initially aka them telling us we were crazy for thinking she got fleas from there, at that point I just wanted refunded for the stay. They said no way. The GM finally offered a 20% refund basically "to make us happy". It's been not a great experience read more

We have been bringing our Harper here for 5 years now, for both occasional boarding and more regular daycare, and he always has a blast and comes home exhausted and smiling. :) We took him there this week and were checked in by Candace, who is unbelievably smart, efficient and very outgoing and friendly! She really made us feel appreciated! We then picked him up yesterday after a 2 night stay, and saw something we'd never seen. While checking out, a call came in on the walk-in talkie and apparently a doggie scuffle was happening in the daycare park. Marcus, who was super friendly and professional from the start, politely excuse himself, ran from behind the counter, knocked on the office window and, literally within seconds Marcus and the GM Candace were in back handling the situation. We were so impressed at the efficiency with which they were able to diffuse the situation and keep all pups safe and sound, while still providing excellent customer service! It reminded us that they are very serious about Harper's safety, and that he is always in great hands at Posh. We are so thankful for Candace and Marcus. it was nice to see them in action, looking out for the best interest of all pups in their care. Thanks you both! read more

Our doggies have been vacationing here twice so far. From the very first visit I was impressed, the owner himself showed us around, it was clean, and seemed well organized. First time the kids stayed at the Royal suite, I was a bit worried at first because both our dogs are rescues and doesn't social with other dogs much. I watched them play and have fun on the videos (both the play room and room have webcams), by the time we picked them up they were exhausted and slept for days!! The second time was no different, this time the doggies stayed at the presidential suite (yes it's as fancy as it sounds), they got a queen size bed to share, bedtime story and tummy rubs. The owner and the staff are fabulous!! I highly recommend this place. I feel at ease while away knowing that the doggies are in good hands. Note: sometimes the videos do crash and takes a while to load but eventually it will get there! read more

This place is AWFUL for small dogs! I took my 1 year old 9lb cockapoo and when picking her up the first day I was told that she got trampled by bigger dogs. She was limping when I brought her home, but thought I'd give them one more try since they said it was spring break week and they were over crowded. When I took her back the second time, I watched the camera nonstop. Two hours after I dropped her off, I noticed she wasn't in the room any longer so I immediately went back to get her. When they brought her out, they stated she was put in a room by herself because she was "jumped" by bigger dogs. She was also wet which obviously meant they had either sprayed her with the squirt bottle or another dog had gone potty on her. I'm so incredibly disappointed in this place and wish I would have known that they don't separate the dogs according to size and temperament. read more

We initially came to Posh Pet for puppy training. This gave us a look at the facility which is kept spotless. Since then, we participate in their day care. Usually twice a week. There are several local doggy day care locations in West Palm. Posh is the more expensive location. But its location and amenities such as watching your pup via internet camera can make the difference seem negligible. The staff really interacts and plays with the dogs, they engage in stimulating play(watched them blow bubbles which the dogs loved to pop). Wednesday is $10 off and water play day. We rarely miss this. If you are looking for a spotless location, caring staff, and picking up a tired pup from playing all day, then this is the choice for you.
