Graff 7A ranch - Apple cannon

Huge slides, kids zip lines, pumpkin patch, hay rides, barrel train rides, corn maze, swings, games, sandbox with dump trucks, bubble area, construction digger truck operation area, food, barn with a band playing and dance floor, campfires (for reservation), flower fields for pictures or picking (for a small fee), apple cannons you can shoort for an additional fee I believe, lots of picture opportunities. Everything was well spread out so even though there was a lot of people you didn't feel like you were on top of each other. Also, the lines were pretty short or non existent. The food was good, and not overly expensive. We had brisket fries (real brisket, not something that tastes like it came from a tub), all toppings were help yourself. They also had your typical turkey legs, funnel cakes, kettle corn, etc. We got there shortly after they opened on Sunday and stayed almost until they closed. Our almost two year old loved it. The parking was super easy to get in and out. You do have to purchase tickets online, then show the QR code at the front. No cash, card only but there is a way to convert cash there if needed at one of the stations. Highly recommend bringing your family here for some wholesome fall fun.

My favorite part of the night was flower picking, while my boyfriend really enjoyed the challenging corn maze. Lots of options for food, and many locations to order from which prevented us from waiting in many lines at all. We purchased the souvenir cups which we were informed can be brought back any future visits for free refills. We definitely recommend coming, with our without kids!

We have been going to South Texas Maize annually since 2016 and overall we love it. Their teacher…read moreappreciation discount gets our whole family in for free which is amazing, and they always have perfect Fall activities. Pumpkin Patch, flower field, apple cannon, kettle corn popcorn, slides, the corn maize of course, and tons of other activities for the whole family. We also love the live music. Sadly this year we had our first major bad experience with the staff. So Hope and David.. this is for you who offered no apologies, no sense of understanding, and who encouraged us to take to the internet to express our dissatisfaction. We found ourselves lost in the corn maize, and our older boys (age 12 and 15) forged ahead to help us and a group of other families find our way out. They got ahead of us so we did not see fully what happened but we walked up on a female employee, Hope, cutting off our boys bands and sticking white hand on them letting the world no they are no longer welcome inside the corn maize for the rest of our day. We come to find out the boys saw the next marker to help us out and they stepped over some yellow caution tape in an open space to get to it and back track to help us out. But Hope was essentially hiding in the corn, and gave no warning, no offer for assistance, and no human decency towards our boys and instead immediately punished them. When we confronted Hope, she admitted that this was the most difficult part of the maize but continued to give me no apologies or any sense of respect or customer service when explaining the boys were now banned from the maize. Then she audibly huffed in annoyance when we did not allow her to take the boys from us and had to escort our whole group out of the maize. From there David, a manager was brought down from a cherry picker over seeing the maize and proceeded to treat us in the same cold and unapologetic manner. To top it all off he could not truly weigh in on the situation because he was on his phone while "watching" the maize. Overall we were extremely disappointed to be treated so poorly and without any decency from these two employees, Hope and David. We never received an apology, a crumb of understanding, or any politeness. We understand our boys disobeyed a rule, but they did not destroy any property, were not rude or disrespectful to anyone, and were just trying to be helpful and take the lead in helping our family out of the maize.

This cost includes a whole bunch which includes a zip line, flower pictures, big slide, corn maze and so much more! We had the most enjoyable time yesterday and was worth every penny. Our coordinator Brittany and captian Sara were angels! They ensured my husband and I got every thing we needed. Chef Daniel and staff Mel, Lizzie, Natalia, Sirena were attentive, efficient and kind. Our Bartender Teresa was lively and quick to tend to our guests. The planning, meeting with vendors and appointments leading up to our wedding were a breeze. Everything was taken care of so well. The venue itself is beautiful we couldn't have asked for anything different. I will forever recommend this masterpiece of a venue! You can tell this staff is very talented and knowledgeable but still makes you feel like your day is most important!

If we could give 10 stars, we would. We got married at Hofmann Ranch on 12/28 in the midst of a…read moredeep freeze and catastrophic flight cancellations from Southwest. My husband, Phil, and I waited for 3 years for this wedding because of COVID. At first, it was going to be at Wedgewood Brittany Hill in CO, then it got cancelled because of COVID, then Wedgewood Carmel in CA when things started to reopen, and finally we moved it to Hofmann Ranch because my mom is struggling with complications from her double knee replacement surgeries that were postponed because of COVID and she couldn't fly to CA. The day before our wedding, Southwest cancelled Phil's best man's and his wife's flights, Phil's cousins' flights, and my friend's flights and my uncle had to drive all the way from San Diego the day before the wedding. We were beyond worried and devastated. Because of the Hofmann Ranch team, we felt so secure and so loved and our families and friends were able to meet each other for the first time and connect with each other. Britney thought of everything: making sure that my mom had a place to sit so that she could march with me halfway down the path of the patio deck, she held onto my train, she made a water color Phannie drink sign that was gorgeous, she made sure that we ate, she thought of every single detail and schedule change when our families kept talking and singing (this is what happens when you get a whole bunch of Filipinos together LOL), she made sure that Phil and I ate food, and there are countless other things that I am sure that we don't know about. Giving Britney my bouquet was the only way that I could say how grateful I was for creating a magical place and experience in spite of all the obstacles. Phil and I are so thrilled and feel like we were destined to be married at Hofmann Ranch. You have a special place in our hearts. I hope that your mother liked the bouquet. This is what giving it to you means to me.  We would like to express our love and gratitude to Britney, Sara, Chef Daniel, Mark, Joey, Josh, and the Limelight Photography team. Each of you made our day absolutely wonderful. Additionally, Cynthia's cake design and William's flowers were beautiful! I think that anyone who is getting married needs to go to Hofmann Ranch and that Britney and her team need to do their weddings! Thank you to everyone else that we communicated with at Wedgewood over the years and in the months leading up to our celebration. Creating a beautiful experience where our families and friends could meet for the first time and have fun was truly a gift. Have a wonderful New Year and thank you so much for an unforgettable experience. Each of you are a true blessing. May God bless you and your family always and may the Force be with you! With much love and gratitude, Phil and Annie #phannie2020
