They did have Classic City Lager (Brewery next door) but just in a can. Food was okay but didn't come out together. Most dishes on the spicy side. The absolute worst service I have seen. The kitchen was slow, the waitresses and waiters don't know their table numbers, they overcharged me for my $9 drink and tried to say I had 3 drinks when I had 1. And to top it off, they proceeded to make me wait an hour for my food before they told me that they took my food to another table and that my menu item was now sold out. I would say I'm at a loss for words, but this is not the place for that. The place, as a matter of fact, is Paloma Park. My group and I were promptly greeted by the staff upon arrival, made aware of drink and food specials and directed to the seated or standing area of our choice. We chose to stand outside on a Saturday afternoon to watch football, where we were more than shocked to find a megatron of a TV setup. Plenty of space, games, and TV viewing for our entire group as well as the rest of the patrons. We ordered beers and a few appetizers that came surprisingly fast as we settled in for the first game of the day. Servers and bartenders were working faster than Nakobe Dean on an outside blitz. We were far from disappointed. Originally planned to get some food and watch a game, but ended up staying for the entirety of the day. The combination of a friendly staff, great food and prices, and outstanding management left us no choice but to put our remaining plans aside. We will be back for another gameday soon and won't make the mistake of planning anything away from PP for the day. Menu is all over the place, music was way too loud for a restaurant (I get that it's also a bar, but we had to shout to talk and we were right next to each other). The drinks were way too sweet for our taste. We had the Nashville hot chicken and kimchi fries with short rib. Kimchi tasted young and not fermented enough, short rib only tasted like beef stock, and the chicken was bland and it was time to change the oil. Everything else on our plate was overly salted. The "food fusion" items just didn't work for us, we had the Crab rangoons that were made with pimento cheese, they lacked that sweet creaminess from traditional rangoons and were too oily. Spring rolls were pretty good actually, and the staff was super nice. The interior and renovations they did look stellar. There is so much potential here for an Asian fusion tapas place, but the execution is poor overall. read more

This is a great place that opened up about a year ago and was much needed for Athens. I took my parents here because I could watch games outside with my friends in the beer garden and have a nice dinner with them inside. Watched the UGA/FL game in the beer garden. Really good vibes and great variety of drinks. Only downside is that you can not order food from the restaurant when you sit on the patio. Amazing atmosphere both inside and out. Went on a football weekend Friday and they were so very, very understaffed, both bar and serving. Wait was to be over an hour but we were able to snag some comfy couches, we figured with cocktails we would be good. No servers in sight so 2 of our party of 6 went to the bar and finally got beer and wine. (Wine was a separate bar so bartender had to leave to get, neat set up if you know about it we would have split our 2 runners, but this really slowed down the poor bartender) Got a great outdoor table. Had to go back to bar to get drinks again, finally grabbed a waitress, she was awesome but overwhelmed. We ordered table fries (ok fries sauces good), 2 orders lettuce wraps (divine), 2 orders of sliders(nearly as divine), 1 nachos (bit bland for me but I like spicy) all to share. Our hungrier 2 got salad and chicken fritters, which they both said were excellent. Food came out quick, in steps like tapas, which we loved, all was fresh. They definitely need to up staffing, but really fun atmosphere, and good food. Again all staff was great, just stretched too thin. read more
