Vintage clothing feels better made than the mass produced pieces in major retailers today, so I always feel better buying a well made vintage item knowing it has years of wear left and of course. You can definitely tell the owner is meticulous about the condition of the clothing which I really appreciate. The owner is great at sharing new pieces in the shop on instagram (@wilderbagco) when items are rotated. And she is on it, yall! I feel like she's posting new stuff everyday. You can even reserve or purchase a piece that catches your eye if you can't make it to the shop immediately. It's also nice to support a small local business who supports other small businesses and area entrepreneurs. I'll refrain from coarse language here since this is a faith based shop, but it could definitely use a rollback to previous operations. Depending on who is working that day, you may or may not be greeted, or receive passive aggressive old lady attitude for inconveniencing them by daring to try and shop. One bright light - Deborah. Unlike many boutique-y shops in Denver that are crammed with unnecessary, mass manufactured junk aimed at hipsters, this store has an amazing selection of vintage and locally made clothing, jewelry, knick knacks, and accessories. While I love to pop in just to explore what they have, which seems to change weekly, if not daily, I think they do a fantastic job with their social media. I follow them on Instagram and they are constantly posting fun stories about what they have in the store. If you see something you like, you can message them to purchase it right away and not stress about getting down to the store before someone else snags your treasure. The staff is super friendly and willing to help. I was recently searching for a small gift for a friend and they provided some awesome suggestions. I think prices can be a little high, but for the most part fair considering the quality of the clothing. I haven't yet visited their home store, but I am looking forward to it!

Sigh, Second Chance used to be my number one when I was in the Evergreen/Conifer/Pine area. They always had deals, friendly staff and treasures galore. But oh how the turntables have turned.....no more. They had a new manager come in and I think she thinks she's running a tight and efficient ship but I don't agree. She has limited the number of bags you can donate and in turn, the quality of the items of the store have gone down. I wish they would have more signs about prices and/or deals of the day where you can see them and that the Mens section wasn't on a completely different level (very tucked away) than the Womens. There's different associates working/volunteering there but it doesn't appear that new manager trusts anyone with checking people out when they want to pay. Thrift stores are usually a happy place for me and Second Chance gave me a case of the sads this past time I visited.
