Brokers Realty of Central Florida, led by Renee Butler, is THE best real estate company I have…read moreever dealt with. Professional, caring and absolutely wonderful to work with are just some of the characteristics that Renee has that separate her from all other realtors. As many who have posted reviews for her already said, "if I could give her a 10 out of 5, I would. She and her team are just that good! And, again as someone posted, "Its like having a friend at a real estate company that is working for you." As a professional with few peers, Renee and the CFI team were thorough, prompt, and great communicators. She kept us apprised about available appointments and always let us know as soon as a new one came on the market. She was honest, forthright, and so knowledgeable about offers and the pros and cons of each and the best way to proceed. If any questions came up, she or her staff were available to answer them in a prompt and satisfactory way. You can also tell she really care about hers clients and the local community. Under the threat of a hurricane, one of her associates dropped by our house just to check on it. One example among many acts she has performed demonstrating the level of care and command that she expects from herself and her staff. This says nothing of her involvement in the local community service area as well as president of the state wide realty association. Look, real estate buying and selling is and always has been a competitive market and Renee knows how to navigate the complexities of it in a professional and customer oriented way. In seven days, we met with Renee, reviewed the property, took photos, prepare a property description, and had it on line with all of the top online websites. Within two days, she had 13 showings and 7 offers and we ended up with an offer well above our asking price in a market that is starting to fade. I've bought and sold numerous homes in my life and, no question in my mind, Renee is the best agent I've ever worked with. If you need a real estate agent in the Central Florida area, I can not recommend anyone other than Renee and the Broker Realty of Central Florida agency.

Working with Renee and her team was hands down the best experience I could have asked for as a first time home buyer. We had so many questions, and she was on call for us pretty much any minute of the day we needed her. She also followed up with us after our purchase to make sure we were happy with our new home. If I ever have to sell I will be going straight to Renee first. She is such a hardworking and kind person who genuinely appreciates her customers. I can only thank province for the suggestion that brought her into our lives. I cannot recommend her or her team highly enough. Especially her assistance Kim who was also super helpful through the process. We love her!!

My wife and I have bought 2 homes and sold one with Real Estate Sales agent, Don Jerue, License #…read moreSL3186459. As a sales agent, Jerue is aggressive. However, the details fail to register a high priority. It is the details that turn good real estate possibilities into nightmares. Don Jerue, owner of Team Elite in Winter Haven, A Keller Williams company, operates under the Broker License of William Kilpatrick, Jr., License # BK3447297 of Lakeland. Between the sale of one home and purchase of another home, we were downsizing, a 14-day extension for vacating the home was requested. We signed the Addendum to Contract requesting the extension. The detail of delivering the Addendum to the buyer's agent and following up on the same was overlooked. It is the details that make the difference. Though that colossal failure was bad enough, it was compounded when we were lied to by the aforementioned agent. I texted to follow-up, inquiring as to the agreement of the buyer to allow the 14-day extension. Don Jerue, the Real Estate Sales agent lied to me via reply text, telling me the buyer did agree to the extension when in fact the buyer had never even received the Addendum. Failed details compounded with dishonesty caused us to operate on a false assumption. We learned of the failure of the Team Elite office and sales agent when the buyer called to make arrangements for the delivery of his furnishings in 36 hours! It was then I called the Team Elite sales agent and learned the lie and the failure of the office personnel. The angst, stress, and anxiety created by this agent failure along with the $4000 incurrence of unexpected expenses took a tremendous toll on my wife and me. To add insult to this, Don Jerue's best option for his failure was the allowance of a truck packed with all our household goods to sit in the hot, humid July sun for 3 days! We literally did not have a place to lay our heads. Moreover, after my wife and I had worked out the move, I mailed, registered return receipt letters to both the agent and the broker seeking resolve. Absolutely no response. Though, according to my understanding, the broker is responsible for agent behavior, performance, and legal compliance. Still Nothing! My recommendation is that unless you want a 2020 kind of Real Estate experience, look elsewhere.

We told him some homes we were interested in and he brought other great candidates -- he took us through all of them, but we just could not find something in our budget. My wife and I thought we would have to wait a few months until something else came in the market, but maybe a week or two went by and Steven found a new build that was almost completed -- it was not even listed on any of the big websites (Zillow, etc.). He negotiated our home at our budget and even got the closing costs to be COMPLETELY covered -- we were actually paid a large sum of money at closing when we got the home with NO money out of pocket. This man was on top of everything -- he was an amazing asset to this process. My wife and I felt confident and well informed. In the midst of the home buying process, my wife had our first baby and Steven sent us a card and gift card for our baby -- he didn't need to do that, but he is is a good man. He even gave us a custom made house warming gift that we absolutely love! If you want a great realtor who will do the hard work and help you get what you want, Steven is the man. He is on your side and will make sure you are well taken care of. We are absolutely going back to him in the future, assuming we stay in the greater Orlando area.

We lived a few hours away so without easy access to the home we wanted we really depended on him to handle the on-site stuff for us and he did so with great attention to detail. If I ever have to buy or sell a home in an area where Steven is available there is no question that he would be the right person to contact. I really can't recommend Steven enough to anyone looking for a real-estate agent who will listen, be proactive, and provide guidance before, during, and after purchasing your new home.

Weds I went to the Keller Williams in Winter Haven to meet my agent that actually works at the Lakeland branch, as it was convenient for both of us. When I first walked in, there was no one at the front desk, but within 2 seconds I was met by their smiling receptionist asking how she could help me. I told her my agent's name and before she could respond, yelling came from the room behind her. "ARE YOU COMING BACK IN HERE OR NOT?!" It definitely caught us both off guard and I could tell she was very much embarrassed as she responded that she was with a client and then apologized to me. No, this isn't a deal breaker for me, I just wanted to let someone know. I have no idea what the situation was, and have thought of a million different reason why someone working there would speak in such a manner to another employee. Are they related? Is this why professionalism is gone? From the tone, this clearly was not a joke-type situation. It made me so uncomfortable I will make it a point to drive to Lakeland if need be to avoid such instances. Perhaps someone there could follow up with interpersonal training or self reflection classes in the future? No one should be talked to like that and I can only imagine what that poor girl goes through if yesterday was any indicator.
