Being on vacation with dietary restrictions can be frustrating. Last week, in the midst of such frustration, I found this little gem of the south Jersey shore and was finally able to buy some groceries to substitute for that boardwalk pizza on which I was missing out. Sweet little health food store that is well curated for such a small space! Very nice owner, calm vibe, reasonable prices.

Walking distance from my brother & sister-in-law's beach house, this is definitely my go to spot for vegan snacks while down the shore. I was there twice this weekend, picked up a lot of goodies. They have Daiya & Vegenaise...really, need I say more? Oh, I do? OK. Lots of organic products, including a small but solid selection of organic produce. I met both Pamela (the owner, I assume) & Laura. Both were incredibly friendly, & I was impressed to see that they obviously are on a 1st name basis with their regular customers. Also, they have a rewards program, spend $100, then get 10% off your next order (I think--I'll find out for sure July 4th weekend). I am SO thankful this shop exists. YAY for Pamela's! read more

Interesting little store. It has some rare things of necessity, but not as much as I expected. I walked in, Pam smugly looks you over and let's you know she thinks you are a tourist and not worth 'her' time! So she directs her personal to help you. Just went to Pamela's Health & Harmony looking for CBD oil for my dad (back pain) and myself (stress/anxiety). Pamela herself helped us out and even let us try different types/flavors. While CBD is not an exact science and she couldn't give us definitive answers about how it would effect us, she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I left the store feeling more calm and in a better mood than I entered, and with her help and information I purchased CBD for myself after being unsure about it but looking for several months. Such a cute shop and a great owner! I ended up purchasing the 1000mg CBD Organix for myself, we got Mary's Nutritionals The Remedy for my dad, and even got my dog some Pet Releaf Edibites with CBD! Bright cheerful shop, that classic health store smell. They have gluten free baking goods, flours, soy products, vitamins, shampoos, pet products, all kinds of organic chocolate, special crackers, seeds, dried fruits, faux dairy and a few frozen selections. It's good if you want something special and you don't want to drive to Shoprite or Bon Terra. Very friendly owner who understands good service and good customer programs. This is not where I'd buy a bag of organic apples and other bulky things. If you're not sure they'd have something, call first. read more

NO HARMONY HERE!! Not only did they have a limited selection, the woman behind the counter was very rude! I had a big meal with a couple cocktails the night before and i was looking for a detox drink. There were 2 types , one for the liver and one for the gut. When i asked which one she recommended, in a packed store, the owner looked at me and said "You know i really don't want to have to lose my cool on you!" I should have left right there , but i was desperate and bought it. When i got home i was so mad at myself for not only letting her talk to me like that , but that i even gave her the business. I'd rather order from amazon than ever step foot in that store again, although I'm going in tomorrow to tell her how i feel because i refuse to hide behind technology like everyone does these days . read more

It's the only place on the island to get the hard to find products, so I always go there first before heading to other grocery stores. For such a small store, they really pack it in fantastically! I have traveled across the country and have never been to a store so well thought out (and I am picky!) New, inventive items, salt free, raw foods, healthy - AND all of the other stuff, too. You can get produce here and the prices are right inline...a top contender NATIONWIDE!!! read more

So glad to find a store that caterers to healthy eating at the beach since it often seems impossible. Pamela has a great variety of vegan, veg and gluten free. She always has fresh produce on hand (i.e. organic kale, tomatoes in the summer) and anything you need to create a delicious meal. If you are looking for healthy alternatives, you can definitely find them at her store. I am more than happy to support a local business but a healthy one at that. The owner is well versed in gluten free items and the store is well stocked. They will order items you need if they are not readily available. The only drawback would be finding a parking space in the summer months. read more
