From the moment I walked through the door, I knew this meal was going to be something special --…read moreand that feeling was confirmed the second I met Zavia. Her warm smile and effortless professionalism set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The food itself was outstanding, but what truly elevated the evening was Zavia's remarkable service. She has that rare ability to make you feel both completely taken care of and totally at ease. Every recommendation she made was spot‑on, and she delivered each dish with genuine enthusiasm, as if she were personally excited for me to try it.

I'm a meat eater, so when I tell you I was genuinely impressed by this completely vegan restaurant,…read moreyou know it's worth talking about! The Sesame Crunch Salad was abundant and had that perfect combination of fresh, crunchy, and satisfying. Very tangy dressing. The Mediterranean Bowl was one of my favorites. It was fresh, filling, and had all those classic Mediterranean flavors coming together in one bowl. Yup, even vegan tzatziki and feta. The Meatball Parm Sub had this hearty, saucy, cheesy combination you want from a meatball parm, and really mimicked the texture and flavor of a real meatball well. The Cheezsteak was another one that really surprised me. It had that classic cheesesteak feel without the meat, although this wasn't a personal favorite of mine. And if you're a pesto lover, the Chick'n Parm Pesto is one you have to try. It was crispy, cheesy, saucy, and packed with pesto flavor. My favorite of the sandwiches! And great ciabatta bread. The Acai Bowl was the perfect refreshing way to finish everything. Very fresh fruit. The place is clean, well maintained, and has regular tables and bar seating. The staff member was helpful in helping us pick some popular options which was nice coming from another fellow omnivore. So if you're vegan, vegetarian, or just someone who loves good food, I'd say this is worth checking out!

Visited Sakura Japanese Steak, Seafood... while in Atlantic City for my daughter's birthday…read more I ordered the chicken and filet mignon hibachi combo. The food itself was cooked well, but the experience just didn't hit the way hibachi usually does. The chef was kind of flat, no real energy or entertainment, which honestly is half the fun when you go for hibachi. No swallowing sake, no catching veggies in our mouths... it just felt very toned down. My kids were also visibly unimpressed, which says a lot. Food wise, I was a little disappointed there were no noodles included, and I noticed the person next to me got a noticeably bigger portion of rice than I did. Not a huge deal since I'm cutting carbs anyway, but still something you notice. I did still pass him a $20 tip because the chef did cook everything properly, even if the vibe wasn't there. (Please be aware to tip your hibachi chef separately from the server!) My sister tried a few things too and said the avocado rolls were actually really fresh and stood out. She also got shrimp and filet mignon hibachi and felt it was decent overall, just underwhelming. She mentioned the dessert situation was odd too, which I agree, only plain cheesecake on display that didn't look too appealing. I'd would have liked some fried matcha icecream or something dang. Service was okay but there was a bit of a language barrier with the waitress which made communication a little tricky. The interior also felt pretty minimal and not very decorated, which added to the lack of atmosphere. Overall, it wasn't bad, just very average. I'm used to hibachi in NY and CT where the experience is way more lively and engaging. If I'm in the area again, I wouldn't go back.

The chef did a good job cooking, but the experience felt a little flat since he lacked personality. Hibachi is usually as much about the entertainment as it is the food, so that was a bit of a letdown. Also, there was only one dessert plain cheesecake & it didn't look appealing especially displayed sitting on a rotating tray. The waitress had a language barrier which was kind of hard to communicate & she was having a hard time understanding me. The interior lacked decor & felt pretty minimal. Overall, not bad, but there's def room for improvement.

A summer down at the shore wouldn't be the same without a few dinings here. All is made fresh for the table by the talented chef-owners. I recently had the Lamb Shank special (a new favorite), and in the recent past have had the Lavraki, Trio (Melitzanosalata, Hummus, and Roasted Peppers), Greek Salad with sheep feta, Chicken Kebob, Galactoboureko, and Baklava. I'm especially impressed by how beautifully they cook and season their Orzo. Great place!

Our reservation was at 7pm. #1 annoyance- when we ordered water for the table, we were told that they do not serve tap water, you have to buy bottled water for $2.50 a bottle! #2 annoyance- after ordering more than $100 worth of appetizers to share (that is how we like to eat so we can taste a lot of different menu items) and being served a couple apps, we were told that if we did not order entrees we would be charged a $10 sharing charge per person. If we were told that when ordering or it was on the menu, we would have changed our order. Needless to say we had to after all the food, we also had to order an entree that we really did not want and took home. #3 annoyance- After ordering the many appetizers the waiter looked at us funny. When I said that if we wanted more food we would order more, his response was that the kitchen closes at 7:14pm. Really? We just got there at 7 and I can't believe (well, maybe I can) that they didn't have reservations after 7:14pm. #4 annoyance- after eating our mezza and awaiting for our salad we asked for clean plates. We were told that the dishwasher called out and there aren't many clean plates. If you looked around the empty restaurant, all the tables were pre-set with the same small plates, all they had to do was give us plates from another table. The waiter did bring out clean plates after all but had to give us more grief! #5 annoyance- I left the restaurant without saying anything about this horrible experience, but I decided to call the next day so that they could hopefully learn from this and improve. When I asked to speak to the owner or manager I was told that they were busy. I left a message that I was a new customer and had a delicious meal and wanted to give them feedback and left my name and number. You can guess what happened next- absolutely nothing. Needless to say, we will never go back. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this was so frustrating and rude.
