When I first experienced going to Pan De Manila during lunch hours, I got surprised at the amount people that were inside the establishment. Most of the people coming in already knew what to get and quickly lined up, but as for me, a newbie at that time, I was so happy that they had so much choices for their customers. They have spreads (both sweet and savory), melba toasts, ensaymada, cinnamon rolls, etc. It is like a one stop shop for their lunch AND snack after it or during the late afternoon. There are times that I would see groups of people come in and pitch in for the coco jam spread and a bag of pan de sal. Their Pan De Sal is also very good, comes in 2 sizes which is very convenient if you're not that hungry, there's always the smaller option. It is also not full of air like some of the bread that I have tasted. I like this place because it gives you quality food and a Filipino favorite at that. read more
